mac - reasoning sounds like by product of "new math" school of thought; my older sons' have some off-kilter attitudes about showing up for work too @ times.

mic - 2, 4, 6, 8 who do they appreciate - mic! Show that new girl who's boss.:thumbsup2

pam - i'm an avon bubble bath kind of girl, have never tried calgon or drink in the tub, afraid I'd pass out & drown.;)

Evening friends....

I briefly met the new gal when she interviewed, she seems like she will fit in...til the office manager makes her want to pull her hair out... :p Hopefully she will will work out just fine and be part of the crew...the help sure can be used

Not much happening...I'm tired this evening......turn the covers down, I'm about ready for bed.......no nonsense this evening either ;)

sorry Tony you are feeling poorly....we will :tiptoe: around you and get ready for work/school and just leave the bedroom door closed

 it is Friday my friends :cool1:

Will check in later......... :moped:

:tiptoe: must be quiet today, the alarm is broke...ginger ale!

mic - glad the new co-worker is a-ok...nice to have the work family humming! Have you written off the other girl ever returning?

mac - how's the tootsie toes today? I think you need a pair (or 2 of Crocs) my secret shame;)

morning guys

sorry i've been a little AWOL.

It's been a crazy at home!

Hi Everyone..

My day is crazy today since the carpet guy showed up at 8am to clean the carpets. Hopefully they will be walkable by the time the girls get home from school today.

I hope everyone has a great weekend and TVT I hope you feel better.

sssh...I'm still speaking very softly.... Tony, feeling any better?

Raining like the dickens here, just the beginining I'm afraid

Momma, early dudes with your carpet, but at least they will be in and gone and it will be all clean and purdy

The old co-worker has so many issues I think, that she would be months before returning, well that is my thought anyway. When someone has deep issues that she is working out, and going to a facility, you just don't bounce back into the real world in a short time. I hope she gets the help she needs and can return to enjoying life. She has called in (very strange messages) in the middle of the night and left messages where she rambles on and cries...it really is sad :guilty: she really, really needs major help and I wish her the best.

My other friend here is off today...and now the office manager is calling out sick :sad2: so I'm the lone girlie today....the guys bite, but I bite back :thumbsup2 I'll be spending my day at my desk, lunch too...but if she doesn't come in later, I'll just say I'd like to leave 1/2 hr. early, which is great with a holiday weekend, traffic will be a bear.

DS went off to beach with gf and her family.......glad he is not a "beach" person and is content to read or study, cause it ain't gonna be pretty at the beach this weekend..........even with rain I wish I was away someplace. DH working tomorrow, so I'll have part of the day alone.... :cool1: maybe I'll get something done........then maybe not :rotfl:

MIA's come out, come out wherever you are...........just a howdy to let us know you are OK......

Bob, I still need to find that photo of ds that looks like your ds...well, same cute smile and pose!! :sunny:

Pam, any news on the computer?

I can't believe my little guy is going to be 6 already :guilty: :guilty:

the computer store called yesterday and said it was done and i told them that we wanted a few extra things done, but didn't know for sure what dave wanted done to it so i would have him call...well when dave called they said that it was still running slow and they were going to have to send it back in and it will be another week :furious: so i am still going to be without a computer :furious:

I know how you feel!!! :grouphug:
isn't it scary how fast time goes???? my baby started middle school this year!!! :guilty:

Pam -- busy weekend for the holiday around here. Saturday, our neighborhood is having it's annual cornhole tournament. Last year, we combined it with a clambake, but I didn't feel like going through that trouble this year (I planned it), so we're doing a wing cook-off instead.

Sunday, we have to go to Pittsburgh for my niece's 1st birthday party. We're putting off Cameron's birthday parties (his birthday's also Sunday) until next weekend.

Monday's free, as far as I know. :)

bob - lucky you, stop in @ the rib fest & have an Iron LOL, the kids do grow @ amazing speed, I'm still in shock my oldest is getting married...seems like yesterday he was learning to walk.

pam - youngest is back up to speed, on a feeding frenzy, comes home from school & wants to know where dinner #1 is, #2 is later;) , he sleeps w/a bag of munchies in his room. Still hasn't gotten over the lack of candy or popcorn though. BTW, you are mighty patient on computer issue(s).

ocm - no hairy butt cracks I hope (think it's a rule that contractors have to display them while they work). If they've got a beer belly, they need suspenders.:teeth:

Heck no -- my main goal whenever I go to Pittsburgh is exiting as soon as possible!! :teeth: :rolleyes1

I think Cleveland has some great points, it's never a mistake to visit the city by the lake...especially when the Steelers come to visit.

I've heard that cleveland folks secretly wish they lived in Pittsburgh, it's a 'burg thing! ;)

You guys are funny... :rotfl:

Ed, I do believe it was stripping wood floors or curtains up or down or something like that :teeth: :lmao: whatever it was, it was funny.....we had a good laugh........remember the Black & Decker buffer??? :rotfl2:

Still raining here..............surprise, surprise

Pam, that is so wrong about your computer!! :furious: Ok, they tell you it's fixed, then you call back and it's running slow? Sounds like they are the ones running slow..... Hope you soon get it straighted out...boo on the computer people...

I had to take lunch at my desk, so I'm thinking about asking to leave 1/2 hr. early....... :thumbsup2 :cool1: Hope he says yes......
