sorry i was mia yesterday.
i had the yard sale at a friends house and doing it again today.

when i got home son took over the computer.
he has been regressing so i just let it go. i think until he leaves, i might be only able to get on MY computer when he is asleep or taking a walk.
i'm trying to keep him calm up until the day he leaves.

i'll be back tonight hopefully.

you all have a great 3 day weekend.

mic - my mom would chase you with a fork, she gets out of sorts if she misses her daily prune . Rather soggy here today too, going to make a big turkey dinner & home-made buns from scratch (now that happens once in a blue moon in my house). Last time they came out like cannon balls.

can't believe it, the buns came out...youngest ds is a happy critter. Baked a cake too, think it's the cold weather here (barely 60 degrees), I'm getting ready to hibernate.

oldest DS's high school team got killed, the 2 division one prospects (on the other team) got some good game film for college recruiters.

time for me to hit the sheets.........I deep housecleaned my 1/2 bathroom today, yuck, it hadn't had that good a treatment in some time, went through some old papers and threw about a tall tree trunk of paper away...made chili for dh, piddled around a bit and now I'm tired...I feel good that I at least did something constructive.........for a change

Sorry to be MIA for so long. Its been another hectic week. I had to go to the University everyday this week but wednesday. Trying to get Michaels VOE forms filled out for our insurance. Today is his birthday....Happy 19th to my baby boy!! and I had to get all that taken care before this weekend. Plus one last cleaning while our dental would cover it. His health insurance will continue but not vision and dental

A trip the dr this week for Connor too.

We took Michael to eat at Texas Roadhouse for his birthday. He got a laptop, an Alienware. They are supposed to be excellent gaming computers and he can also use it for his classes. It looks really cool it had an alien head on the outside of it that lights up when its on.

deena - happy birthday to your boy! He sounds like a great young man, lucky to have such a generous mom . Curious, will he be able to get away from school to go on the dis trip/member cruise with y'all (I'm practicing my southern today )

mic - you always sound busy & doing something constructive to me.

mac - it's not about the money, it's about the companionship & entertainment value . How many early birds/barbarians @ the gate did you have? Hope today is a smashing success for you!

DH working today & tomorrow, the man will not turn down OT. Generally, a good thing. Still p.o.'d @ him though, he took the bandage & splint off broken finger the evening he did it, said he could work with it. It looks awful, still oozing! He wouldn't dream of taking a week off work like he was told to...grrr, stubborn gemini he is.

I'm off to a labor day celebration w/youngest DS (he want to go for the flea-market - another compulsive shopper I fear LOL). Anyone have big plans this weekend?

What movie are you seeing? Saw POC II for the 2nd time last week , such a fast-paced movie we saw lots of things we missed the 1st time. Stop back & give us a review.

I really want to go to WDW so I can see the changes they made on the Pirates Ride. Do you have any trips planned?

WOW!!! That sounds like a great time! A MK view would be fantastic. I've never stayed at CR.

Nope, no trips planned. We only recently moved to the East coast. Living in Las Vegas, we always went to Disneyland (4 hours away). We've gone to WDW 3 times though, plus 2 DCL cruises. Now that we are on this side of the country, we'll have to plan a WDW trip soon! I really want to go, but we are too poor right now.
