I must be a studda budda* but, I despise the phrase pie-hole too...just sounds dirty to me, must be a regional slang term...don't hear it @ all in my neck of woods.

Sammie's first day of school was funny. I went to pick her up and the director asked me if I had given her benedryl or something because she fell asleep for over 2 hours.

I had compltely forgotten to tell the teachers that she falls asleep as a defense mechanism. If I ever leave the house and Lee is watching her, she cries and puts herself to sleep. That is exactly what she did there. She woke up in time for lunch and playing outside.

I really am not worried about it right now. Once she learns to trust them, she will be ok. Or she will be well rested..either way works for me.

OK. It's gettin close to midnight EST. I finally got control of the computer for a few minutes. I guess I will tuck you all in for a change.

Keep all of your cold hands, mini thongs and whatever else you leave in TVT's bedroom to yourselves. I will have a drink for each of you and retire to bed. Mrs. Gigantor is already there so I might have to open the window to see if the wind is blowing. Have a great night everyone.

Morning....the morning wake up says we are back to normal???? Are all of us ever normal? Glad it was just rain that fell in Florida and not the other nasty hurricane stuff...

It is so dank and dreary here....that rain is making it's way east, we are supposed to have it all weekend...so much for a sunny last weekend of summer...

Momma, cute Sammie tale....she will adjust to school and not sleep through it all I'm sure She did have fun though right?

taking son to doc, then to work at noon, then me to the foot doc who hurts me and then work on my yard sale stuff. have not priced a single thing.
the sale will be at a friend's house fri= monday.

Mac, good luck getting through the day with doc appts. and pricing...blech on the yard sale...did those years ago and Pam always makes out well, but it is a lot of work........

The rains are supposed to hit us tomorrow...bands must be moving in though, very windy, dreary, humid, but somewhat cooler.

Today is nekkid day....and tomorrow is silver day and then a 3 day weekend.........double whoop

so far i am striking zero on the home front.
got son to the doc and now we are home.
he won't go to work and he won't call in.

he tells me, don't answer the phone and that way the boss won't be able to talk to him..............i think it's just easier to call in, but what do i know.
i'm just a mom...........tearing her hair out......
