test Part 10

Afternoon, sorry I missed morning roll-call, but I was running a little late at the house, and then when I got in here, I had plenty to keep me busy, just finally got it all pretty much caught up, the important stuff anyway. Lunch is in a few minutes...I'm hungry too:goodvibes

So, I was not surprised at who went home last night on DWTS's...I fforwarded through most of the show, too much other crap on there before kicking someone to the curb...just DO it already.

Temps are in the 50's here and supposed to stay that way, and it has been raining off and on......

I haven't watched it yet, but I did ask dave to dvr it. I had to run to the store because Aubrey needed a banana for school today and we didn't have any. What we do for our kids!!

It is really windy here today....and NOT that kind of windy. I am sure this wind will blow most of the leaves off the trees. Then they will look so blah until spring.

Where are all ofour MIA's???

hello

ocm - thanks for the black friday primer; i need a cheap desktop for youngest DS:confused:

mac - i keep threatening to go out to eat on Thanksgiving. SIL hasn't called us back yet to let us have a head count:rolleyes1

pam - don't suffer, get that foot check out:)

mic - We just went thru a BOA issue. They wanted to change terms on CC; 1 late & a massive % increase. I canceled it & was going to pay off the small balance (caddy inspection in aug). They called me & offered another card @ 1/2 the interest rate - fixed:confused3 . I said okay. then i got another letter a few weeks later indicating that they made a mistake with the 1st account & it was still open too.popcorn:: Guess i've got 2 now:headache: & we don't even have a BOA anywhere in our area.

bob - will read the TR later!

just wanted to shout out while my rice-a-roni cooks, that mom's repeat mamogram was aokay:dance3:

bbl

Keisha - tell your SIL that reservations are taken up to one week prior to the date. If she doesn't make them in time, Perkins or Shoneys take walk-ups.;) Great news about your mom!!!

Pam - I think you are a very sweet mommy to run to the store to buy your baby the Banana she needed.

TVT -
action-smiley-081.gif

Mic - temperatures here are suppose to drop tomorrow. Today is was 75 and just beautiful outside.

Mac - good luck with the trials and tribualtions. I have been going through alot myself recently, but I am hoping there is a light at the end of the tunnel soon.

i hear ya sweets. hang in there !
for me, no light at the end of the tunnel.

keisha, yay for mom's report. that is good news.

pam, your baby needed a banana. you should have bought her 2 of them.

mic, i missed dwts. i forgot to turn the tv on last night.

i made ressies for a prime rib place for T day.
now i need to let the family know what i did.

i might have made a mistake in doing this but i signed up to work the next 4 work days. th, fr, mo, tu
i hate scheduling that far in advance.
it's embarrassing to call in to say i can't make it when things happen.

I will check out that website tomorrow at work ;) thanks for sharing, I may be tempted to go out if I see something good......nah, just kidding. I spent many years having to go out on BF to work...so I enjoy staying home. I did feel better on the working side of the cash register though instead of standing in line;)

KS, HOORAY for your Mom, I'm so glad it all came out good! Yeah, poo-poo on BOA...I haven't even used the damn card, just wanted to register online as sometimes they offer incentives or whatever at certain merchants...I was NOT a happy camper after fooling around with them yesterday. I kid you not, that other account with them has to be from 20 years ago, with NO activity on it, so what the heck do I have to list it for to access a new cc :confused3 It felt good to hang up on the girl:lmao:

Ok, off to catch a little TV...tomorrow I'm making some time at work to write out my shopping list for turkey day. I don't need a whole lot, have some things here already...but I do need a turkey:idea:

Pam, you are a good mommy, running out for a

Mac & Momma  Life just is sucky sometimes and I know how you feel, hang in there, I know easier said then done, but you have all of us to vent or let off some steam with...:flower3:

Good morning friends......rainy and blech here

I want to stay in bed...... it is such a good day to hide under the covers...but NOOOOOOO...I have to go to work........waaaaaaaaa

morning all.....:)

getting ready for work.
did end up watching forensic files after midnight and boy oh boy, i'm tuckered out now.

it suxs big time to get up when the sun hasn't yet.

have a good one,
hopefully i'll be able to check in on my lunch break today.

The temperature dropped 20 degrees here without my permission:mad:

Hope everyone has a great Thursday..I have a bust day here myself. Conference with Nicos teacher is the highlight and a lot of driving today. With gas prices the way they are, I am going to have to take out a small loan just to get to and from my kids activities.

mic - don't cry:) found u a turkey (better watch he's armed & dangerous:lmao: )
turkey%20chef-L.jpg

mac - ambitious undertakings:thumbsup2 ; prime rib sounds delish - haven't had it in years; now i'm hungry lol

ocm - i've taken to feeding the caddy regular gas:guilty: cannot bring myself to pay nearly $3.50 a gallon for premium...probably gumming everything up royally.

tony - no ifs & butts;) about it

pam - if you need a 'nanner, i'm armed:banana:    ; don't u luv it when kids tell you these last min. needs? Least it wasn't 2 dozen of cupcakes:)

Morning all :)

Out the door early this morning -- Cam's school had "Muffins for Mom" before school this morning and a number of the dads volunteered to help out at it (the mom's help put on "Donuts for Dad" last month).

Can't believe it's a week from Thanksgiving. :headache: Guess I better start thinking about buying our turkey. ;) Should be a small crowd this year at our house, though, so we won't need a very large turkey.

Mac, sorry life is messing with your work schedule...I know what you mean

KS, thanks, I like that turkey, he is looking dangerous though with that weapon...guess he doesn't want to loose his head :goodvibes

Momma, I know what you mean about gas, it is around $3.09 most places here now...:headache:

Bob, you and I need to get on the turkey trail...like you, small fixins' at our house. Muffins for Mom sounds cute...have fun

I will probably bake a pumpkin and apple pie. My plans are to do that the night before, we'll see:rolleyes: my best laid plans usually go arwy

I really do not feel like working, I'm sitting here looking out the lobby windows watching it rain...it is knocking lots of the leaves, or what is left of them off the trees. I do have a beautiful bunch of windows to gaze out of...I'll still have some windows to look out when we move upstairs, but not like what I have now...makes me a little sad.

As far as DWTS's, I guess Marie was on Larry King last night, it will replay at 11 a.m. today I think, we have it on the TV in the lobby...seems her 16 yr. old son is in rehab:sad2: she has her share of heartache it seems, but I'm still not rooting for her to win...;)

Same here. We usually bake the pies (we usually only make pumpkin pie) and get the base for the stuffing (sausage, onion, celery, etc.) cooked up the night before, so the morning goes pretty smoothly. :)

Morning all!

Unlike all of you I have NEVER had to cook a turkey. We always go to one of my aunts houses. I am not looking forward to someday being the aunts house that everyone goes to though.
We are going to miss my dad's side thanksgiving. It is on Sunday and since both of the boys play basketball on sunday and dave is one of the coaches it is hard to miss when they only have so many boys. We are thinking about stopping and staying for just a few minutes since it is in a round about way on our way to omaha....well we could make it be on the way if we wanted to. We probably won't decide unitl Sat. night though.

It is upto 43 degrees here now. When I dropped the kids off at school it was 30:eek:

Took Aubrey to the doctor yesterday....seems she has a sinus infection. She should be back to norm after the weekend.

ocm--i know what you mean about driving here and there. It is crazy how many miles we put on for our kids!

mic--be glad you have a few windows....one of my parents i babysit for complains that she is in the basement of her work with NO windows.

mac--have fun working It stinks when work gets in the way.

tony--so when do you leave for the beating?

bob--muffins for mom? sounds like a fun time. Is Cam in 1st grade this year?

KS--I knew about the banana since friday....i just forgot until I was going over my what i need for the week list:sad2: without my list I would be totally lost!

gant--are you still really busy at work? Are you cooking a turkey this year?

ed--where are you?! We miss you here!!!:sad1:

Yep, he's in 1st grade. :)

Ever since we got married, Nicole and I decided that Thanksgiving would be our holiday to host and whomever wanted to come was welcome. We've had anywhere between 6 and 20 people over the years. Last year was the one year we didn't host -- we went to friends of ours for dinner last year. They usually come to our house, but they had a lot of family in town, so they invited us over instead.
