pam - I always ask to have my toothies numbed up, probably because ala my older house, everytime you start digging around you find something else
mic - i can't remember where i put my extra blankets

have been looking for days; may have given them to goodwill in an extreme rid-up phase. Know you like to shop

; any Ross Dress out your way? They're opening one tomorrow nearby. Posted a thread on budget board, got mixed reviews - TJ Maxx-like. I luv poking thru the outlets, so hope it'll offer some bargins.
ed - was it 3 more sleeps or 2 more sleeps?

still have your son swathed in bubble wrap? Bet your kids are ready to bust, always wonder when i hear people talking about "secret" trips; how do they pull it off?
as for cruises, only
DCL for me thus far.

absurdly pricey imo though. Not sure if anyone in your family qualifies for military rates; fantastic offerings abound. On Carnival anyone who served & received honorable discharge & can produce a DD214/discharge papers; is eligible to receive the rates. Several times a year they run a special where you can also book 2 additonal cabins @ the same rate. We're sailing on the Legend in Dec. barring any more storms

; we'll docking in: Grand Cayman, Isla Roatan (hondorus); Belize & Cozumel, Mexico. Most 7 days don't have 4 ports of call. To compare prices, we could have booked 3 of the cruises for what it'd cost on comparable DCL & we've got an upgraded; extended aft balcony. Interestingly, once you book; you can monitor the prices and ask for price matches/credits even onboard credits if offered directly thru Carnival.
As for the kiddie club, my youngest son never attended any type of daycare; was so insulted that we made his partake of an hour so on DCL so we could have some fun @ dance club. Would've been different if he had someone along on trip near his own age; then he would've loved it.
Really hope we're not disappointed; shall let y'all know...i'm not the hairy chest/belly smacker contest type
fyi, NCL also offers military. Here's a good site for checking rates (note that port charges aren't added - for us less than $200 usually)
