Let me be the first to say good morning

What an evening, I've been to bed, can't sleep so slipped by here to read...yes Pam, I got the IM...so it is working You'll get used to the new computer

Mac...welcome home....sorry for your delayed flights...beats all doesn't it? Never a dull moment........which leads to MY evening

DH and I rarely during the week watch TV in the same room, I'm usually on the computer or watching my taped stuff...so we are sitting in the TV room watching TV and the TV just goes off...we are like WTH and then we see smoke and smell it So, there went the tv...first thing out of dh's mouth is "and the playoffs will be on this week, can't miss them"...LOL...priorites ya know......so we decide time is of the essence and this week is busy, so we decide to head out (I stayed late at work this evening so it was now 7:00 p.m.)...went to Sam's and got a new LCD TV...the old one is HUGE and weighs a ton, this one is heavy, but thin and cool looking.......and of course, just paid off the fridge and stove, so OF COURSE something else had to go bop.......

Ed, you will be a good pirate and no Zach the fat or whatever

Well, I'm gonna try to go back to bed and get to sleep, I'm keyed up about the doctor visit and then our TV saga........

Mac, when you get rested up, we want details of the pilgrimage...and Momma, tell us what the kids enjoyed most this trip...I remember Nico getting brave on rides last time

He was taking the pictures until Tuesday and then he was no longer allowed. We'll just leave it at that.

Most all of those pics are the ones I took. TVT did take a few on his phone though. Julie kept closing her eyes during the pics, so those are really the only two good ones of just her.



Gee - I can't figure that one out. Where did it go?? OHHH..Now I remember.. DELETED!!!!

pam - i had the same thing happen when i restored computers, couldn't remember my password either - d'oh. I've used DHs laptop for almost a year still cannot post links, etc...i need to take a class.

mic - cash & carry, geez. Really hope it's a minor thang...no tests.

finally got the call back from dentist told to come right up, then i get asked why i didn't call their afterhours emergency # . Thinks he can save it, via crown; perhaps not even a root canal if it simmers down. I get to go twice next week - yuck.

still didn't load card reader, drug these outta photobucket, not sure why they're only thumbnails?

My new computer is giving me problems AGAIN! That stupid box is up again and i can't figure it out..then it will tell me that i am the administrator and that i need a password uggghh....i'm about to throw it out the flippin' window!!!

So, went to doctor and got a plethora of tests she isn't so sure it is diverticulitous but perhaps IBS...TMI I know, but you asked so tomorrow I'm off for a cat scan of my pelvis, next week a floroscopy of my esophagus, followed up by an invasion of both ends of me on 11/27. Blech, I'm so bummed out with all this stuff. I'm SO not a doctor person...I try and be healthy without their help, but she seemed concerned that I've been having some trouble swallowing and had acid reflux for many years, that I may have an esphagus problem also........ so while I'm knocked out, they are gonna scope me from top to bottom So...tomorrow starts the battery of my poor little soul.......think of me drinking all kinds of yucky stuff and eat a piece of chocolate in my honor

Came in early this morning, so I'm out of here on time tonight and gonna watch our new TV

mic - chin up! good news is you can pick the flavor of the yummy stuff you get to drink . I won't comment on the other stuff's taste....it's over before you know it.

Never had the scope down the hatch, hope it goes smoothly for you.

Also hope you don't have to take any vacation days for this, that would stink (want me to call you off sick?)

Not looking forward to any of it, and the throat thing gives me the shivers more then the other end...but if I'm asleep, guess I won't care...at least I hope so. As I've said before, getting old ain't for sissy's

I will take time w/o pay or try and make some of it up by coming in early, staying late or maybe even working a few hours on a weekend. I'm not NOT taking my days off when the boys come in....nope, no way no how gonna miss time with them.

mic--i don't blame you for not wanting to take the days off when the boys are here. You should take them off. It will all work out for you, i'm sure of it! I know it stinks to have them test done and when it is my turn i am sure I will be kicking and screaming, but atleast you will have them all behind you then and hopefully you will find out what is causing your problems.

Mic - I hope it all goes well for you!! I say go for the rum or vodka I agree with not wanting to take the time with the boys away. Hang in there...we'll be here to listen when you need us.

Ed - that guy has no hair!! I'm not going bald with the costume..even if it does have a hat.

Keisha - I love the pics and the nw hair do!! Very sheek. What a bunch of handsome fellas.

Mac - I hope you had an easy work day!!

Pam - I am so sorry your new computer is giving you problems.

What my kids enjoyed the most?? Hands down it had to be the Goofy ride. Sammie's first roller coaster ride ever and she LOVED it!! We must have done that ride 4 times this trip and one time they actaully got to ride it with the characters. Nico rode Splash Mountain again, and Julie rode Star Tours for the first time and she loved it too.

I have to say, it was a HUGE help having TVT there. He got Julie to try the Barnstormer again (which she loved) and he got her to try Star Tours for the first time. He was able to take Nico on Splash mountain since Sammie was too young and he stayed with the girls while I took Nico on Kali Rapids for his first time. (I think Julie would have ridden it if "Grandpapa" Tony had gone, but Samantha was an inch too small.)

From the first day to the last Julie would say that "Grandpapa" Tony was her friend. She never left his side. Any ride we did, she insisted on riding with "Grandpapa" Tony and at all the meals she was going to sit next to HER friend.

Nico got really sick the last day. He had a horrible fever and he actaully just asked to leave MK. We got in the car to drive home and he said he just could not do a car ride then. He was just not up for it. In addition, I kept yawning about every 5 minutes. I was in no condition to drive (since we all know I fall asleep at the wheel.) In the end, I got a room for the kids and I and went there. TVT was a HUGE help. He took his youngest best friend and they got dinner for everyone then went back out and got medicine for Nico.

It was really great of him to spend his vacation time to hang out with all of us. The kids and I are truly blessed to find such a good friend

Ahhh...sounds like the kids had a really good time, and riding Splash Mountain Sorry Nico got sick, but at least he waited til the last day to do so. You did the best thing staying overnight til he was better able to make the trip and you were rested up. Kids will often do things for others, in this instance Tony then they will for their parents...just like they are usually better behaved for others than Mom & Dad... Just so glad you all had fun.

Yep, 1 week and 2 days and the kiddoes will be here...I can only imagine what they will be like, this is the same flight they came in on last year, it gets here at 12:40 a.m. which is 9:40 p.m. for them, so they will be wired, especially after the hour ride back from the airport. The plane was late last time and I think we got back here around 3:30 a.m....and they didn't want to go to bed when we got home...imagine that....LOL....I was dragging...hopefully I'll get a little nap in before we head to Baltimore. Won't leave here til at least 11 p.m....and last year we went out to find the damn flat tire...that better not happen again

Thanks for everyone thinking of me...I had my little pity party at a table for one on my way back to work from the doctor I pent up a lot inside and when it's all said and done, I usually have to let it out and then I'm ok.....these first tests I can do on my own, but the big butt test someone has to go with me as I'll be asleep...that is the part I hate, being put to sleep....sounds like what you do to a pet doesn't it I know you guys will listen if I need to boo-hoo, and that is comforting to me.... I'm almost glad to have it all done to find out why I'm having such discomfort.

SO...anyone still watching DWTS's? I was glad Wayne got the hook....how about Biggest Loser? I hate when they have to vote off one of their group, they all work so hard, and it's sad they have to do it when they lose a competition.
