test Part 10

Quick update:

My boss met with the HR woman and she gave him a couple different options on ways to create a part time role. In general, she was fine with it and said it can work. The main suggestion she made was to set up an interim review -- a period of time in which both the department and I can decide if it's working for both of us (e.g. determine if I'm adding value and determine if the new arrangement is working for me).

Today at 3:30, my boss and my boss' boss are meeting with my reporting manager to discuss these options with her and see if they can come to an agreement on the part time role. After that, they'll come back to me and I can decide if what they're offering is acceptable to me.

Long story short: There's been no decision yet, but they are at least still discussing this. :)

oh you all decided to show up this mornin'?!

It is back to school night for my kids...trent is moping around since it is he "last day of freedom":sad2:

I am off of work tomorrow and friday...i am hoping to clean, organize, and deep clean the carpets downstairs in the kids pad.

Bob, sounds like the whole process is being handled and something beneficial to all involved is gonna happen :cool1: If you are valuable to them, they will work something out. Still wishing you the best

Pam, you are gonna use 2 days off TO CLEAN :scared1: Just kidding, I would love 2 extra days off to do some cleaning.

Ok, where is our Momma? She needs to stop by and let us know she is alive and kicking.......outlaws left yet?;)

ks--your son sounds like my 9 year old. He is about 5' and weigh 85 lbs. Trent is almost 5'7" and weighs 170 lbs. He is officially taller than his mama now:confused3 We grow them big here in nebraskee:thumbsup2

we just got home from our county fair. another year here and gone...now tomorrow night is back to school night:sad2: I tell ya...these next couple of days are NOT going to good for this mommy:sad1:

Night everyone! see you in the morning.

good 'ol corn feed "beef";) :thumbsup2 my guy's finally getting those growth spurts:) oddly, his hands are huge, assume everything will even out in the end.

bob - they need to draw up a committee, then vote on a chairman, then send someone for coffee & danishes...then they'll decide.:wizard:

had deer nightmares last night

shopping like a fiend for school stuff, thought we had everything covered - until the growth spurt. Thought his 2 jackets would fit another year (anyone else buy them big & hope to get 2 seasons out of them?)

i am glad i no longer have to shop for school supplies.
now i shop for food all the time.

i feel for you keisha

yep, 2 days of unintrupted cleaning...hopefully it will be **** and span when i get done and 2 boys will respect it and keep it that way.

bob--i hope it works for you...sounds like you will have an answer today:thumbsup2

ks--i just got what the kids needed to start off the year and i will get more when it starts getting colder out that way they won't outgrow it before they wear it.

mac--a female deer is called a doe and a male deer is called a buck:thumbsup2 ;) see i listened when i went to school and the teacher liked me so i passed:rotfl2:

you got censored, wow.
and i knew what you were going to say.

i knew that pam, i was playing with you all.

Mac, you crack me up.....:rotfl:

Geez I saw Pam got censored and I thought she said the mother of all words....I was disappointed :rotfl: ;)

Gonna watch some TV and read a little more of my book, got a few pages thrown in at lunch today...started watching a show on BBC America called Hotel Babylon.....they make the best soap opera-ish shows on BBC...love em

KS, I used to get the essentials for the boys to start school, then did clothes shopping later...when stuff was on sale. Yep, used to buy the boys winter jackets (when kids still actually wore that stuff, with zipper hoods, mittens and scarfs) bigger to get hopefully 2 seasons out of them...once Tommy got older, his stuff was useless as hand me downs, he wore everything out.

Just think how much time Bob will have to hang with the class once he starts staying home.....we can teach him to cook too..:thumbsup2

he already knows how to cook..remember when he has to be the single daddy? We can teach him how to.....hmmmmmm.......... i know...we can teach him how to multi-task!!!:rotfl:

mac-- there are 5 seasons in PA:confused3 hmm...who would've thunk it!

went to the kids back to school night and i think the kids are all set for tomorrow. They all met their teachers and i think we will like them....well i hope we like them anyway. I will take some pictures tomorrow and post them of their first day of school.:sad1:

of course bob can cook.
kids love hot dogs and mac and cheese and chicken nuggets.

pam, isn't it exciting to do the back to school night.
that means all kids go to bed before midnight starting then...

i had boys, they never wanted to go to bed once they were 10.....

pam, let's talke bob into watching AMC:lmao:, can't remember which one mic watches...i've only caught a few all summer (probably didn't miss much, Erica & Jack were still fighting; Greenlee came back from the dead, same old, same old:) )

there are 5 seasons in PA:confused3 hmm...who would've thunk it!:rolleyes:the 5th one is TAX SEASON:rolleyes1 welcome to PA, land of taxes and potholes

decided to chill out & "take a tan" as my kids call it; haven't stopped in since June. Sometime since, the owner finally changed the bulbs...too bad nobody told me. I'm a lovely shade of pink , with an imprint on my neck where my mickey mouse pendant sat. sorta like a tatoo

my kids won't eat hot dogs, cheese, peanut butter or chicken nuggets. They cry for meat, meat & meat by-products.

CAN'T IT BE FRIDAY?????

Good try Tony, it's still stinkin Thursday.....but it's better than the 3 days before it:goodvibes

Oh KS, I know what you mean about being pink...sometimes I go in and feel like I hardly get a thing, another time I come out and feel pink....and usually if I have on a different pair of undies, that are cut a little different, I'll get pink where the sun hasn't shone before:rotfl:

Bob, you really need to start watching Days of Our Lives if you stay home, so we can have a lively discussion:thumbsup2 and you know I've met some of the actors personally, so we can really dish :upsidedow

Off to work my pals, looks like a storm could roll by...which is what we need to get this cooler weekend they keep telling us is coming.
