There you go now you can't say I didn't get it up for you this morning.

ed, you can wake me up any morning with a beautiful rise like that anytime... or is that a sunset............:rolleyes1

2 quick updates (sort of) -- my boss has just gone down to our HR person's office, presumably to talk to her about my proposal and at 4pm, my reporting manager is meeting with my boss' boss.

Hopefully by tomorrow I'll have a better idea of what's going to happen. :)

got my fingers and eyes crossed for you mr slydell.....

glad you had your **** covered!!:thumbsup2 :cheer2:

good girl..

mac - my freezer's always open to my friends probably why it needs defrosted - :) groan

pam - 14 years is a long time to do anything, let alone have the patience to take care of other people's 'lil darlings.:thumbsup2

mic - but nuthin - your boss is the biggest butthead:mad: just tell me where she lives, i'll pink flamingo her yard...naw, that's too good for her kind - we'll TP her instead.

bob - :hourglass

back from trying to find youngest DS a new bathing suit, he's finally put on some weight this summer & none of his fit anymore (will need for over the winter has opportunites to swim indoors); they're gone everywhere i looked today. maybe online? Local JCPenny only has them 20% off:confused3 , not about to pay $25 for a kids swimsuit. Anyone else notice their prices have jumped dramatically?

did snag him new dress shoes, a size 9:scared1: . not sure if they ran small or what, bought him school tennis shoes in June (when they were on sale, got them big too - they're a size 8; barely fit now).

okay, how old is your son???? My 9 year old wears size 7!!!!!!!

we bought noah some shoes at jcpenny. he wanted thos airraiders or whatever they are called and the only place i could find them in his size is pennies. that is the only thing we bought there. sometimes their selection just stinks.

he just turned 14 (only about 5' 2" & 90 pds dripping wet - all muscle though; he's been working out all summer) I was shocked 'cause DH wears a 9 1/2:confused3 and he's 6 foot something. my olders kids are a size or so up...perhaps they all have small feet.:rotfl:still say they look like clown shoes to me.

I ran out to Macy's; found a bs & dry-release t-shirt - they are so comfy. On the way out on the back road i take, a giant buck with a huge rack jumped out in front of me crossing the road...followed by his mate. Good thing i was going up a serpentine hill; threw on the brakes force of habit. Missed them by a few feet; the Blazer behind me barely missed me:guilty: he gave me a salute.:rolleyes1

our auto insurance co, after paying off big-time on my old caddy in the spring, would've loved this one.

OH KS...glad you didn't have a collision with that deer and his dear :goodvibes those animals can make a mess of a car real quick! Won't be so awful long and it will the season again for them. I see them even now on my way to work...just saw one squashed about a week ago...all the new building is running them out of the woods I guess, looking for food.

Well, my oldest son wears a size 13 and youngest wears a 10...now how is that for a spread between 2 kids ;) but then oldest is a little over 6' tall and youngest is around 5'11...I make em big and small...LOL

Bob, good luck....like mac, everything is crossed for you

Off to watch America's got talent........:cool1:

some big feet stories........
1 of my sons has large feet, wears a 10 or 11,
the other 3 wear 7.5 and sometimes 8.
mr mac wears 7.5 also.

we won't say what size i wear.....

you are one lucky gal keisha.
usually the car turns out the worse when a buck/deer run into your vehicle.
in our area, if you hit a deer, you can keep it for food or whatever you want it for.

going to watch Damages soon.

Night everyone...sleep sweet my friends......it is nice and cool, but supposed to warm up again tomorrow, but less humidity...that I can live with...

Oh gosh, someone's alarm just started to blast on their car out on the street.....:scared1: That brought me around from being sleepy

I'm off to read a couple pages of my book, it is SO good....wish I had more time to read......

ks--your son sounds like my 9 year old. He is about 5' and weigh 85 lbs. Trent is almost 5'7" and weighs 170 lbs. He is officially taller than his mama now:confused3 We grow them big here in nebraskee:thumbsup2

we just got home from our county fair. another year here and gone...now tomorrow night is back to school night:sad2: I tell ya...these next couple of days are NOT going to good for this mommy:sad1:

Night everyone! see you in the morning.

are you all having breakfast and enjoying ed's rise and i wasn't invited????:confused3 and i thought you guys were my friends:mad:

Good morning...and yes Pam, you officially were the alarm clock this a.m. I took a shower and had to fool around with my stupid hair, since it's getting longer, it takes longer to dry and then it doesn't go the way I want it:headache: so I was running late. Now I'm here, determined to make this a non-crappy day...I will be a duck today and let it all roll off my back:goodvibes

Very nice this morning, but I think it will warm up....so nice not to get up and have humidity smack you in the face when you walk out the door.

Today would be an excellent day to play hookey....I may do that sometime in Sept. or Oct....when I have something I want to do.

More later.......off to surf around a bit before I settle down to do some work...the o.manager left for church, it is a holy day I guess for those that are Catholic....so it is quiet around here...for now;)

morning all :goodvibes

so today is a holy day?
no one told me
but then, i am not catholic

ever have the days that just blend into each other.......:rolleyes1

tony's slacking today, no wake up call.

good thing one of the women folk stepped up to the plate and got us out of bed.

thanks pam

Did you go to church also?

  I don't think I'll be able to get to Mass today, no. I often miss Holy Days masses, especially when they fall in the middle of the week. I don't have the time during the day and taking the kids to Mass at night doesn't work really well -- we're lucky if they're good on Sunday mornings.

If I worked reasonably close to a church, like I did when I worked in Downtown Cleveland, I would go.

well bob, what was the verdict?

part time employment or the unemployment line............

hope you do get what is best for you
you can't go wrong either way.
the time with your boys is well worth it

Unfortunately, I still don't know what the verdict is. :confused3 But you're right, either one will be a good result. :thumbsup2 I'm not sure which one I'm pulling for -- I would like to stay active and keep doing some work here, however, I wouldn't mind being home full time with the kids and cut down on all the running around I do. :)

Hopefully today I'll know. :)

too many MIA's today.

come on this is hump day, pam's favorite day of the week.
