I think 1.6 pounds is AWESOME, especially after being sick all week. Congratulations!! And you got a clippie too. Woohoo!!!!:cheer2:

How was your work out at the gym? I totally blew it with my exercise challenge for this month but will be shooting for 1000 minutes next month and determinted to make it! You're doing great! :)

I'm wondering where the weekends go these days. Seems like it's Friday afternoon and then the next thing you know, it's Sunday. I hate that it goes by so fast.

I didn't get to the gym today like I wanted. DH had a headache (yadda yadda yadda) and I had meant to go myself, but I've been watching XGames and doing laundry and next thing you know, it's almost 1:00pm. This week is busy for me, so I'll only get to go MOnday and on Thursday. Not a good start for the February Exercise Challenge, but plan to pick up the pace after that. The scale was down again for me this morning, so I know I'm doing well with the eating. Finding myself with 6 points left over in the evening and trying to use them up. Gotta love when your having to "force" yourself to eat. I'm going to try and get on the Wii Fit today and do some exercises just for peace of mind.

Hey Donna - I was disappointed at first, but realized how sick and bloated I had been and think the 1.6 is a great accomplishment. I have to realize that I shouldn't be losing anymore than that per week. My goal is 5-6 pounds per month. I got to the gym yesterday, but not today :confused3 Just being lazy I think. Stomach is still not 100% so I know I should just try and take it easy. I didn't make my goal, but I think over 1400 minutes was good. I'm going to shoot for 2000 again and see if I can get closer.:yay:

HOpe you are having a good weekend. I can't believe tomorrow is the 1st of February. Only 23 school days and then I'm OFF TRACK :banana::banana:
 
Hey Tera! How is your week going so far? Hope everything is going well. I had a good week at WW, lost enough to put me up to a total of 55 pounds lost so I need to update my clippie. Also need to get on the ball with exercise and join the Feb. challenge.

Is everyone is your house feeling better? Hope you're having a fantastic week!!! :)
 
Hey Donna - I can't believe I haven't posted on here in a couple of days. It's been a long busy week for me and just haven't had a chance.

The week has been good. I've only been able to get to the gym on Monday because I had training Tuesday and bowling Wednesday, but I do plan to get some cardio in this afternoon. I'll weigh-in again tomorrow morning and I think it'll be good. My scale was about 192 and I was at 194.2 last week at WW. Hopefully a 2 pound drop.

We're all finally healty here. Still freakin' how we all got in. Never happens.

Congratulations on the 55 pound clippie!! It's been so long since I've had one of those :( I'm just shooting for that 10 pound clippie by next week.

Food has been good this week. Sunday I grilled chicken and was able to make some lunches for the week. Makes a huge difference having those things ready.

I haven't updated my Feb exercise either. I'll get on there this afternoon when I get home from the gym.

Well today was an AWESOME day at WW. Lost 2.8 pounds for a total of 9 pounds :cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

It's been a good week and that was just the icing on the cake. I can't wait to get to 10 pounds next week. Also measured myself and I'm down 6 inches so far:yay:

I'm really proud of myself and just hope I can keep this up. I know I might slow down some and figure that if I stay within my points and do my workouts, I'll be good. My goal was to lose 20 pounds by the end of May, so I'm right on track for that.

Having neighbors over tonight and will try to stay good for that. I'm sure Sunday I'll cheap just a little. Saving myself for my anniversary which is in 2 weeks.

How was your evening with the neighbors? We're having a snow storm so we've just spent a quiet evening at home watching movies and getting caught up on stuff we have recorded on the DVR.

Doing well today. Finally got my butt to the gym about 10:30 and had a great workout.

My evening with the neighbors went well. We were up singing karaoke until 11:00. Food was good and I was only up 1/2 pound on the scale this morning, so I think that was pretty good. I'm hoping by tomorrow I will be back down.

My goal is to lose at least 1.8 pounds so I can be under 190 for the first time in a year :)

I'm sure you were super excited about the Saints winning the Super Bowl, huh? Not me LOL! The Colts really blew it but maybe they'll make it back next year.

How have your work outs been? Mine have been non existant. Got some stuff going on so I'll drop you a PM real quick to fill you in.

Hey Donna....

I've been MIA myself this week. It's been so busy. I had training Tuesday night after work, bowling Wednesday, TOM arrived this morning and I've got a cold.:eek::eek: I'm so tired. Going to take some cold medicine, take a hot shower and go to bed early.

I was hoping to weigh-in tomorrow, but because of TOM, I'm actually up about a pound. I'm going to see how the scale is tomorrow morning and see how it goes. I'm thinking I'll be waiting until Saturday morning before weighing in. I've been so good this week, I was really disappointed to see the scale not down. I know its the bloating, but you know how it is (or not ;) ) I only got to the gym Monday because of my schedule and I had planned to go today, but have the worse headache (from the cold) that I just came home. I do plan to go to the gym no matter what and at least walk on the treadmill for awhile. I want my 10 pound loss this week so bad, but know it might not happen.

The game was great last week and I was happy to see that New Orleans won. I did really good at our neighbors and didn't gain any weight :thumbsup2

Thanks for the encourgement. TOM is making me second guess myself about everything and the sugar cravings are killing me. Tomorrow we have Valentine parties, so I need to be extra careful, especially if I don't weigh-in.

Let me know, but either way, hope you did well this week and that the scale was your friend. :thumbsup2 I know exactly how you feel, I get so anxious to hit these little goals, but it will happen. If not this week (stupid TOM!) then definitely next week. I think you're doing fantastic!

Oh I knew you'd be celebrating the Saints victory lol. It's good though, New Orleans has been through so much, they really deserved something positive like that.

Happy Saturday!!!! Seems like this was the longest week EVER.

Hey Donna...

Doing a little better today. Just a bunch of junk in my chest at this point. I ended up going to WW this morning and glad I did. Lost 1.8 pounds for a total of 10.8 total in 5 weeks!!! :banana: Was really happy (and surprised). TOM is still hear, so I'm hoping I might drop another pound or too before the weekend is over. I changed my goal. I want to lose 40, but I want to lose 30 by June 1st. My oldest DD graduates from high school the end of May and then we're going to New Orleans the beginning of June. Makes it easier to have those smaller goals to shot for versus the big overall goal.

My DH and I went to the gym after and walked on the treadmill for an hour. Can't do any heavy cardio just yet. I tried to run, but starting coughing, so just walked fast.

I'm just happy to have my weigh-in behind me. I was so nervous that I would be up or not lose a lot and I was feeling bummed. This was a pleasant surprise :thumbsup2

Hope your enjoying your Saturday afternoon. Going to take a quick shower and then its nap time for me and DH (we nap every Saturday afternoon). We have bowling tonight, so need to make sure I stay good tonight.
 
Great Job, Tera!!! :woohoo:You are doing a fantastic job! Almost 11 pounds in 5 weeks...WOW! Very proud of you and once again, you are motivating me to keep plugging away at this and definitely to step up the exercise.

So you're going to New Orleans in a few months? Awesome! Have you ever been before? I would love to visit there and look forward to seeing your pictures when you get back. How long will you be there? I think your goal of 30 pounds by June 1st is very doable. I'll be here to cheer you on and help keep you motivated. Does it seem weird that your DD will be graduating from high school in a few months? Our oldest will be 16 in July and that just seems so strange to me. Where has the time gone??

Morning....

I'm so happy its Tuesday and NOT Monday today. I can't believe I was off for 3 days and it went by so quickly.

Yesterday was my youngest DD's 15th birthday. I can't believe how quickly they are growing (or I'm aging :scared1:). We took her out to dinner last night and I tried to be really good. I had a cobb salad, minus the bacon and had dressing on the side. Its really not a bad salad since the egg & bleu cheese crumbles have protein, but I did have one of my DH's ribs & a bite of DD's dessert. The scale was fine this morning, so I think I did well.


Donna - I finally replied back to your message. Sorry it took me so long. News seems positive, so keeping my fingers crossed that you hear back soon. How was your Valentine's day? We don't do much since DD had her birthday the following day and our anniversary is Saturday, so we have plans for that.

Was very excited about the 1.8 loss. I was glad I waited until Saturday to weigh-in instead of Friday since I was still so bloated. Nice to have that option.

I've never been to New Orleans and am excited. I love to take pictures, so I'm buying myself a new digital camera before the trip. Lots of cool things to photograph. I think my youngest DD is going with us, so she and I will have hang out time while DH is at his conference.

So my goal is to lose 10 pounds (20 total) by the end of March. I know I'll have to have big losses, but its something to shot for :yay:

It was a busy week and I'm so glad its over. Only 9 more work days until I'm off track :cool1: I didn't weigh-in this morning. I went to bunko last night and even though I did really well with my eating, I was up a 1/2 pound on my scale, so I wouldn't have had a loss, so I thought I'd give myself another day to go down. I'll be sure to post when I get home from the gym tomorrow.

DD's birthday was good. She just finished up her drivers ed, so she should be getting her permit next week. God help us having two teen drivers now. Our insurance went up like $1000 a year with our oldest, I can only imagine how bad it'll be with both. Our anniversary is tomorrow and I'm really excited. We are staying downtown Denver and have reservations at a Brazilian steakhouse that I've heard great things about. Planning to get lots of "exercise" in too ;)

Morning!!! Today is my 20th wedding anniversary. I can't believe how quickly it has gone by. We have plans to go downtown Denver tonight and going out to dinner. Can't wait :goodvibes

Went to WW this morning and only lost .8 :guilty: I know it's still a loss and I've lost 11.6 so far, but I thought I had done well. Told my DH after tonight, I'm going to need to really kick *** this week so I can get down next week:thumbsup2 I'm just below the 190 mark, so of course I lost a point for my weekly points. Need to add more fresh veggies into my weekly snacking.

Went to the gym after WW and had a great workout. Really trying to increase my weight lifting and building some muscle. Maybe that's why I didn't have the big loss this week ;)

I saw that you added me. It'll be a good way to keep in touch. I LOVE Halloween. Its one of my favorite holidays:cool1: I've been bad about posting pictures recently. Need to get some updated ones of my girls.

WW was okay this morning. I went to a 7:45 meeting and its packed. Funny how they talked about eating out this week since that's what I'll be doing tonight :) Have you made it to a meeting this week? I think I was bummed because I've had huge losses the past couple of weeks and expected it to continue. I know I have to stay focused and this should be a good week to do that.

How was your anniversary? Hope you and your DH had a fun, romantic time last night :lovestruc Time does go by quickly, doesn't it? I can't believe DH and I have been married 15 years and together almost 17 years. I'd love to renew our vows or something on our 20th at WDW.

I bet next week you'll have a great loss at WW. Any loss is a good one though and you're working hard and doing the right things so congrats on that .8. All the little losses add up to big ones in the end :goodvibes

I haven't posted many pix of FB lately either. Of course, with nothing really to do because of the cold/snow, there isn't much to take pix of. I'm so ready for spring, I can't stand it!

Happy Sunday!! I can't believe I just said that. No Sunday is happy when tomorrow is a work day :(

Had a WONDERFUL anniversary. My DH & I went to a Brailian Steakhouse and had a wonderful dinner. Besides the bottle of champagne we had before dinner, I think I did pretty well (except for dessert ;) ). I tried to count all the points that I thought I would have had (think it came to 25). I had 17 points going into dinner, so I didn't have to go over by too much. I ate until I was full, but not stuffed. We stayed at a Courtyard Marriott and DH got us a suite which was really nice (especially the two person tub:hug: ).

Got home about 9:30 this morning and now am on a mission of drinking tons of water and eating lightly. I'll weigh tomorrow morning and hope I won't be up too much. I'll have all week to get back down and hopefully get my 12 pound loss this week.



Hey Donna - Weekend was great. DH is such a romantic ;) We had always talked about renewing our vows for our 20th, but it came so quickly. Maybe for our 25th. We never did have a "proper" wedding, so I'd like to do it up right.

I was bummed about the loss (or lack of it) but I'm okay. It was a weird week for me (DD's birthday, bunko) so I had a lot of obstacles. Now that my night out with DH is over, I'm going to bust my butt this week and hope for a big loss.

How was your weekend? I know what you mean about the snow. It's snowing here again. I am SO ready for 80's and sunshine:cool2:
