Terry - I agree with you. It just would be nice to see people stick together for once, but I guess that would defeat the purpose of the "game".
I never liked Lisa, but she looked really great in her after picture. I'm sure they have to do some kind of reunion show to show people how far they all have come.
Well here's my post for yesterday. Katie walked to school, so I was able to get to the gym by 8:00am. I did about 20 minutes on weights (upper & lower body), 25 minutes on cardio (I wanted to do more, but my sinuses were acting up

) 20 minutes on the bike and walked 30 minutes on the treadmill. Just didn't feel like I had given it my all, but maybe that was because of the sinuses. I headed over to Wal-Mart to pick up a few things and then headed to the mall where Katie's choir was performing. We had lunch together first and then they started their performance. I had seen the same performance at the school, so I wasn't planning to stay for the entire thing (was hoping to meet a friend that was visiting for Belgium). I mouthed to Katie I was going to leave and she started to cry. I was able to pull her to the side in between songs and she started to throw a tantrum like she was 3 years old. This is my youngest DD who will be 10 years old in 2 months!!! I couldn't believe how she was behaving. She was grabbing onto my arm, saying she was following me out. She wanted me to take her back to school because she didn't want to ride on the bus with the other kids. Hell, _I_ wouldn't want to ride on the bus with her either. Anyways, I'm finally leaving (15 minutes later and she missed 2 of their last songs) and she still thinks she's leaving with me. I told her she was NOT getting into the car with me and by the time she got back, the bus would be gone and she would be stuck (Nice Mother huh?

) She finally went with her class as they were leaving. I was SO pissed when I called my DH on the cell phone.
Anyways, made it to the restaurant where I was meeting my neighbor and out of town friend (these are my fantasy football buddies). Had a VERY large beer to help calm me down (I know, I'm a lush). Enjoyed talking football and Fritz's life in Belgium with their 3 kids (triplets) Got home around 4:00pm and was VERY tired (and still in my workout clothes

)
My poor DH has been trying to get lucky for the past couple of days and I've been too tired (I know, TMI). Today is the kids last day of school, so I might slept in an extra hour tomorrow, but still get up for the gym. I have Happy Hour here tomorrow night and my house is a mess. The kids already know they need to help, and since Katie has been grounded for the rest of the week, she will be doing most of the work.
That's about it for now (thank GOD!) This morning I'm off to the gym, coming home and starting on the house (run vaccum, clean bathrooms) Heading up to the school for Katie's classroom party (the one I'm coordinating). I'll update my journal later this evening.......
