Tera, Tera, Tera... you actually liked Ami? :sad2: :faint: :sad2: :faint: I'm just teasing but I really couldn't stand her. I was squealing with glee when she got voted off. Every week I just want to reach through the screen and slap the smug look off her face. I don't really like anyone that's on there now. Chad and Brady were my favorites and once they were gone I just didn't really care anymore but I did not want Ami to win. I'm pulling for Chris to win now. I don't particularly like him either but he's the last guy standing and he worked his butt off to get there.

I hope your daughter gets better quickly! I know you are going to have a fantastic weigh in tomorrow. I'm sure that the next time I click on your journal I'm going to see that you are at 25lbs. lost or even more! ::yes::

Since your journal is where we seem to discuss television, is anyone else watching The Nanny Reunion tonight? That is one of my most favorite tv shows ever and I'm really looking forward to seeing it! :)

Michelle - I know I know... I must have been the only one that liked her. My kids didn't even seem to care for her much :earboy2: I just liked the way she kept the girls together as long as she did. I'm pulling for Julie, but I know, unless she gets immunity, she's the next to go. I can't stand any of the others, especially Eliza (back stabber :earboy2: ) I use to watch the Nanny off and on (mostly the reruns) I might try and catch it.

Keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow :flower:
 
Poor Tera, we DO discuss TV here. LOL! I never watched the Nanny, so I won't be watching the Reunion show. Sorry, Michelle. I am going to bite my tongue on my Ami comments. I was happy last week, that's for sure. At this point, I really don't care who wins. DH is rooting for Chris or Twila.

Tera, thanks for the brownie info!! I had never heard of these No Pudge Brownies! They sound great!! I may have to make up a batch for the holidays. :) Yumm yum

I hope those drops keep working for your daughter. If you can get them in there correctly, they are fasting working. Keep washing your hands so you don't get it either!

Brett Farve made you loss to your DH?!?! Where's the justice in the world?? I guess it is time for him to retire! I hope you didn't have Kurt Warner too! ;)

Well today's weight in went better than I had thought. I got on the scale this morning (bad Teresa bad) and I was at 183 even. I thought there was no way I was going to lose anything this week (maybe .4). Went to the gym and just walked for an hour on the treadmill and then went to WW. I am happy to say that I lost 1.8 pounds for a total of 26.2 pounds and the new owner of a 25 pound clippie (when they fix the boards) I am now at 181.8 pounds and only 2.8 pounds to go to be under 180 for the first time in about 10 years!!!!!!!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: I'm just so happy :flower: :flower: My weight hasn't been this low since before I had my youngest (who turns 10 in February).

Well, off to bowling I go.........

Thanks Beth :cutie: I wish I could update my signature and was actually thinking of getting rid of my countdown to up my clippie :earboy2: Bowling was okay, better than last week, but not great.

Last night was the first of our holiday type parties. I went to a Mom's Night Out party with my old playgroup and had a blast, but didn't get home till 1:00am. The party was in our subdivision, so driving wasn't an issue (atleast not for me since I got a ride :earboy2: ) Everyone brought appetizers and cookies to share. I did well with the desserts, but this one lady brought this bread appetizer with an artichoke spread on it. I had two pieces :blush: I brought veggies, so I tried to eat plenty of those. My drinking was probably the worse, but still not "too" bad. I had 21 points going into last night (used my AP and had veggie soup for lunch and before party) so I think I was okay. Have a little headache this morning, so I will be :drinking: :drinking: :drinking: water today. Off to the gym this morning to work off those calories. I'm sure tonight I will be in bed early :flower:

I still think you are doing awesome!! It's great that you are still doing things you enjoy and get right back at it the next day! You have a terrific attitude!! Not bowling for 6 weeks...whatever will you do!!! Does your league take a mid-season break? Ours go straight through...only day we had off was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

Thanks Beth - Took some motrin and it was gone. Had a great workout on Thursday and Friday, so I'm not too worried about Wed night. It's the following days that I'm worried about :guilty: (Read below)

Hey Gail - If I can get through the next few weeks with a little loss or even same weight, I'll be happy. Been REALLY bad the past couple of days, but tomorrow I'll be back at the gym and not worry about it. I bowl two leagues, a Tuesday ladies league and a Saturday mixed which is non sanctioned. We bowl that one every other week and the way it came down, we don't bowl during the Christmas or New Years. Our secretary just didn't want to deal with teams prebowling or making it up, so it was just easier to take the break (fine by me) Our Tuesday league is just taking the week between Christmas and New Years off, but that's it. I've been bowling so long that I don't mind the breaks now, especially with everything else that's going on.

Hi Terry - Thanks for stopping by and celebrating with me. I've tried changing my clippie and my tracker, but it won't let me :guilty: We watched Survivor (I was actually working on the computer and didn't actually "see" it). I knew Julie was the next to go if she didn't get immunity. What happened with Eliza??

Here's what's been up the past few days:

Friday DH and I went out and didn't do so good. We went to Bennigan's first and had some appetizers. I had one LARGE beer and then one small one. I ate some flatbread pizza (about 4 small slices), some chicken fingers and these southwest egg rolls. After, we went to Lodo's (restaurant/bar close to our house) and drank WAY too much beer. They did have dancing starting at 10:00 and DH and I danced till about 1:30. Figure I burned a few calories there :earboy2: Didn't get to bed till almost 3:00am!!!! Saturday I tried to suck down water like there was no tomorrow. I ate well during the day, knowing we had another party in the evening. I had a couple of drinks and a small plate of food. Not too bad, but I think the damage was done already from Friday. Today I will watch my points and try and come under and drink LOTS LOTS LOTS of water. I need to face the fact that I might actually gain this week and not to trip over it too much. It was a busy week with parties and drinking too much . Tomorrow will be a huge cardio day and will keep drinking LOTS of water and help flush this stuff out :earboy2:

:cool1: You got your clippie. I keep meaning to put mine back in, but I just never get there.

I wouldn't worry too much about weighin. You've splurged a bit, but are back OP. You had fun and enjoyed yourself. You are also probably going to kill yoursaelf at the gym to make up for the calories. See, I know you already. :cool: Regardless wof the weighin, you'll keep working and the weight will be off next week.

Teresa, you got that wonderful 25 pound clippie!! Yes, you may gain a bit this week but I'm sure you'll work even harder to drop it!

I must say that you use a lot of points on drinks! If I drink more than 1 drink, I fall asleep! :p Doesn't make for much fun at a party, so I usually limit myself to one. Have you tried any of the low-carb beers? How about rum & diet coke?

Best wishes for weigh-in tomorrow! I hope all that water helps flush any extra weight right off!
 
WOO HOOO!! Signatures are working again!! I love that new updated tracker bar! How cool is that?!? I can't see your clippie but I can't see anyones for some reason. Rats.

Keep drinking that water and get some AP points in. I am sure you will be fine. Tis the season for celebrating and it is okay to maintain your current weight for a week or two. Heck - it's better than okay! It's good, because most people gain. ::yes::
 
Thanks Beth - You do know me :earboy2: I had a great workout today, about 15 minutes on weights (arms only), 40 minutes on the elliptical (this one is more of a step machine?), 40 minutes on the cycle and about 15 minutes on the treadmill to cool down. Felt really good when I left...

Doe - DH and I both drink low carb (Michelob Ultra) beer, but when your drinking 6 of them (2 points each) it doesn't make too much of a difference. Had a couple of raspberry vodka and cranberry drinks on Saturday, but I "water" them down with diet sprite. No big on rum & diet coke, but I'll drink those once in awhile.

Hey Terry - I'm not going to worry about tomorrow's weight in. I'd LIKE to stay the same, but if I gain alittle (hopefully no more than a pound) I'm okay. We'll see how it goes....


After the gym, I headed to Walmart and picked up a few things. DH called and wanted to go to lunch. His company (Peoplesoft) has been fighting with Oracle and it's finally become offically that they will take over. He's nervous about his job, but does have 6 months severance, so we'll just have to see how it goes. Not great news with our Disney Cruise coming up in 5 months :earseek:

Planning on something light tonight for dinner, lots of water and see how it goes tomorrow. Thanks for all the good wishes.... :flower:
 
Sorry to hear about dh's job. I was reading about the Oracle/PeopleSoft stuff today. It sounds like it started out as a hostile takeover, but ended up being a buyout. Of course none of that applies to the employees - they are just along for the ride. :rolleyes: I hope things work out for DH! No one enjoys uncertainty, especially about their job. Sending prayers and pixie dust your way! :wizard:

That was a great workout this morning! I hope things go well at weigh in tomorrow, otherwise, I am sure next week will bring good news! :)

Well todays WI was both good and bad. Good since I only gained .2 pounds, but bad that I gained. I know I know.... it could have been so much worse and I think this will refocuse me to eat better and drink less :earboy2: I really think that the worse is behind me (one party on Friday and then Christmas). Shouldn't be too bad. I do have family coming in next week and will need to actually "cook", but I think I can make better things and just portion control what I do eat. Atleast I didn't lose my 25 pound clippie :bitelip: Today I just walked 45 minutes on the treadmill before WI and that's all I'll get today. Tomorrow I'll be back on the weights and the cardio machines and I know next week will be MUCH better. I'd like to lose 4 pounds by the end of the month (over 2 weeks and VERY doable) just so I can claim my 30 pound clippie on the 1st!!!!
 
Sorry to hear about hte gain this week, sweetie. You have the right outlook though. With work and focus, I know you can lose the 4 pounds by the 1st.

Beth - Thanks! I was a little disappointed, but I'm okay with it. I mean, geez, I ate more in that one week than I did probably for the whole month :earboy2: The 4 pounds by the first of the year is my goal. I still needed 7 to get to my New Years challenge, but I doubt it's going to happen.


Today was busy... after the gym and WW, I headed to the store to pick up some stuff. Got home, showered, ate lunch and then headed to the school. DD's class was doing gingerbread houses and I was helping with that. Was up there till 3:00pm and came home and made some more veggie soup. Tonight I have a PTO meeting at 6:30, so I'll be missing some of Earthsea (on Scifi) and also Biggest Loser. Oh well.... Tomorrow I'll be doing weights and cardio and then heading to the mall were DD will be singing for her choir. I'll finish up on some shopping and then head home were I'll be sitting on my butt the rest of the night :earboy2:
