When I've been at Captain Cook's, or the Contemporary (I think it might be called the Contempo Cafe) and seen the screens to order, I've walked out, because I like more personal service. I'm gradually realizing this is the way of the future. Please tell me about it. Is it complicated? Did you get what you ordered?

We did it once and it was easy. You just punch in what you want and then pay by card.

I prefer personal service too by the way. I was just curious to see how these things worked.

It is really easy. Just like the PP said, just punch in what you want and pay with a card. I think this is OK but if you need something different you are out of luck. Just as an example, I wanted to get one of the salads but with a different kind of dressing. There was no way to put in there that I wanted different dressing. Or if you wanted the dressing on the side. I wish there was an option for you to put in for special request.

What if you want to pay with cash, is that an option? :confused3

There is a register at the end. You order at kiosk thing then went to the bakery to get dessert if you want it. Then you go to the register to pay and get your drink cup. At least that the way it was at Comtempo.

Thanks....that's a relief to know....makes sense too considering not everyone uses their KTTW card....at least we don't for CS meals.

They are VERY easy, picture menus, and Lots of options, we used them a lot at both the Contempo and Capn Cooks, for instance you can get the Tonga toast, Tonga toast with bacon, or Tonga toast with sausage. There is always someone nearby that is happy to help if you have dietary needs, just ask for help at the counter.

They have computerized ordering at Pecos Bill's in the MK. I see long lines at the registers where you place your order with a real person. And no one at the computers. So I order with the computer and get my food and seated while others are still waiting in line.

Everytime I have used the touch screen ordering systems at the Contempo Cafe and Captain Cook's, I thought they were very easy to use and never had any issues with them.

We did it once during the previous trip. They are very user friendly and like someone else mentioned, shorter lines!
