Debbie: I think it's really charming you have this lifelong connection, since childhood, with Pooh. Many times I think we can overlook how comforting stuffed animals can be. No kids here, but I have a cuddly Eeyore that I can't make myself get rid of, in part because one of my cats loves to cuddle with it. (Had to add a picture of Pooh for you!)
Kate: Awww, baby Pegasus. It does make me want to say, "awww" for some reason. Maybe it's the combo of the snore and the princess hat!
Chris: Naw, never would have guessed you're a Goofy Guy. Now that I know you a little better, though, Peter Pan makes a lot of sense too. (Me, I'm a rejuvenile, so right with you.)
JenG: Now, see, I didn't know that about you. The Donald medal makes perfect sense!

And I love your mixer question--it's officially adopted and goes in the books. (Would you mind if I added favorite t-shirt to the mix, so that people who are currently doing shorter events can participate?)
Jennifer: I love both the Cindy and the Wendy connection. The former makes your princess name really memorable. And who doesn't love the alliteration of Wendy Wellelsly?
Maura: I have a special spot in my heart for Mulan and Stitch myself. I see a lot of the former in you.
Maria and Mary: I could have guessed Belle as the answer for Maria, knowing her a little better than Mary, so it's really cool to see that character connection!
Maria, do you ever beat your hands against DH's chest, then swoon, saying "You beast?" I know that reaction isn't very Belle, but it makes me smile!
Mary: Beauty and the Beast should have won the Best Picture of the Year in 1991. Seriously.
Vicky: Ooh, the White Rabbit! I had my picture taken with him one--love characters like him, Eeyore, Pooh, Baloo. You just want to squeeze their bellies. I, too, like Classic Pooh. I guess Shepard's illustration style didn't work as well for animation, so that's why Disney changed it. (Part of me suspects the style didn't work as well for Disney aesthetics, but I digress...)
Dave: I'm quite sure you make many people's favorite Disney character top-10 list. Especially if they spend any time with you on the course.
Bryan: Although you're not a surfer dude, and there can only be one DOOD in my life, I can certainly see you as laid back!
JenG: Ah, Mickey. I tend to forget how important he is until I'm at Disney and see kids waiting to take their picture with the big cheese. You're channeling your inner Walt!

(Hope you're feeling better, btw.)
As for me: It's actually very difficult for me to name a favorite character because I have so many. I'm a huge animation fan, so working my way through the lists is nearly impossible. Outside the Disney universe, I'm a fan of Betty Boop, Rocky and Bullwinkle, Fritz the Cat, Bugs and Daffy, The Simpsons' Comic-Book Guy, Pinky and the Brain, and Aeon Flux, among others.
Within the Disney/Pixar universe, it's no easier. Of the Fab Five, I pick Pluto. He's no longer associated with a planet, so he deserves a little love. Plus, his obsession with the chipmunks is just plain funny. Generally, I'm a bigger fan of villains and comic sidekicks over princesses and princess--the former get better lines. Snarky characters top gentle souls. I'm particularly fond of characters who have been adopted/appropriated by queer culture: The Evil Queen, Tinker Bell, Scar, Beast (and Gaston), Quasimodo, and Mulan, for instance.
If you asked me to identify with a character, I'd probably say
Br'er Rabbit. He's a trickster storyteller, whose stories get him in trouble as often as they get him out of trouble. There's a moral in that, probably. I also like Eeyore's worldview, although it's a little "up" for me. And I think I smile like Stitch.
So, hard to say, hard to say. Apparently I'm a little focus-challenged. Like Tigger. So maybe that will be the character I choose today, although I tend to find him a bit annoying. Probably because he reminds me of myself.
Some pics from my birthday trip last year. Just because we deserve to see photos of characters. Do note I'm not the focus, as I'm not a character like Dave!
