Yeah....I know......I was 2nd in my high school class and 1st at Virginia Tech.......so why does my husband make so much more than I EVER could???
Oh well..........I did get a new car.......and did I tell you it's almost my birthday???

And really - 1st at VT? See, I slacked off majorly in college, though I eked out a 4.6 (out of 5) through pure luck. I discovered beer. And a place where there were more than 30 people in the school.

Don't let her kid you new Fockers.......it's only shower days on Thursdays! ......wow, CE....you'll fit right in at my nursing home one day!

Hey! I showered, since last Wednesday evening (when I showered for the party...) hmmm. Not Thursday, too busy. Not Friday, we skied. Saturday, yep. Not Sunday, because we had 7 people vying for 2 showers. Monday, yep. Today, well... Not so much.

So... at LEAST 2 showers in a week. So there! Man, I'm gross. But I do plan to shower tomorrow...

Does it mention that my birthday is 1/13????

Ok folks, I had not seen the light of day in a week and no outside human contact in 5 days. Did I miss some important announcement that all Target shoppers are to carry giraffe print handbags? I counted 12 today, and 4 in a row in line at the checkout. I felt such a dork with my plain black, neatly organized, purse. I was all like what up yos? Didjas hit up the Arusha Savannah at the Animal Kingdom Lodge?

Well, I love the AKL, but no. I've been carrying an orange pleather purse since last spring. I like it - got it at Kohl's - but need something new. I'm not into animal print, though.

I'm thinking most of what I saw were knock offs. I saw an ad Christmas Day for the name brand for like $200. Somebody and Bourke? Anyhow, I saw a few people before Christmas with them and I thought how cute....maybe Target carried some knock offs as well? Anyhow after today, all I can do is laugh. The girl behind me, who had matching wallet and day planner, said they come trimmed in lime green.............WOOOOOOOOOoo DAWGGIE, did you say lime green?

I'm thinking most of what I saw were knock offs. I saw an ad Christmas Day for the name brand for like $200. Somebody and Bourke? Anyhow, I saw a few people before Christmas with them and I thought how cute....maybe Target carried some knock offs as well? Anyhow after today, all I can do is laugh. The girl behind me, who had matching wallet and day planner, said they come trimmed in lime green.............WOOOOOOOOOoo DAWGGIE, did you say lime green?

Dooney & Burke. And apparently they're very cool. But MIL bought me a D&B bag when I was still just a girlfriend, I'd never heard of them, probably didn't give her the reaction I should have... found out later that it was, oh, expensive...

Hey, I never posted a picture of the final, really cool, decorated ice storm tree branch deal that we did.

You know, some of you felt that it could be installation art?

Here it is on Christmas Eve:

Mind you, the snow has melted and looking out at it now the lowest lights are 6 inches off the ground, but that should get fixed tomorrow.

I need to upload the skiing videos, but maybe not tonight.

YES!!! Those are the purses I`ve been seeing in the store! I didnt realize they were supposed to be giraffe print,,I thought they were cow prints!

Heres the cell phone I ordered last night from EBAY. I washed mine in the washer, and I used up all my insurance phones from Verizon. that was my 4th phone since May!!! and they dropped me off the phone insurance plan. so I had to resort to EBAY... I hope I like it. the seller also had a lime green phone in the same model also...I was thisclose to getting it.

There's a whole thread about this thing over on the budget board. The OP wants to know if she can use reg cake mix in the nuker and does she add the reg ingredients or just water. Everyone has posted random crap, but nobody has answered her question and she is getting ticked; rather funny it is.

LOVE Dooney and Bourke, not so much the giraffe print though....

Ran into a friend at Target. She had the zebra one; knock off of course. She said she uses her giraffe one for a diaper bag.

Giraffes and zebras have always been my favorite animals, but after being taunted and tramatized tonight, I'm not so sure. Everywhere I looked, they were looking back at me. I liked them at first, but now I'm not sure, but I don't want to be like the last kid to get high top Reeboks.
