We decided we a) didn't want to make her go out, and b) didn't trust her to get the right thing, so we ordered them from amazon.com (we have Prime, so free shipping) and sent them to her house. But they were still cheaper than checking them both ways.

Now that sounds like a good plan!

I'm still running a low-grade fever but my throat feels better. I still plan on a full day tomorrow, so I'd best not feel any worse. But I think I am going to bed soon. Good night, all!

Here is an article from the Orlando Sentinel about the APce Mountain rehab. Looks like ne track and some other cosmetic stuff, but not the major overhaul the one oin DLR got!

Um, actually Janet - DLR always had the cooler version. They just upgraded the synced music and all.
Matterhorn is the almost identical to MK's SM.

Nothing much going on today.

I fell asleep early and woke up at 3 am. I have to get back to sleep.

D sent me upstairs, where I couldn't get warm. Finally added another blanket and did fall asleep, but as I said, since I wasn't feeling THAT bad, I don't know how much I needed the nap and now I just feel groggy.

I shopped most of the day. I bought 3 Coach purses for my sisters - great prices on them all. Then I talked to a friend who said she thought I should get something more sentimental since this is our first sisters weekend. I found these Brighton ID bracelets that say "Sisters" on them, so that is what I am giving my sisters.

I've only been up for about 20 minutes, but so far, it's better. I woke up with a mild sore throat, but not as bad as it's been, and I feel like the fever is probably gone - I don't have that fuzzy feeling anymore.

So...

Tennis this morning, followed by a haircut and then probably a quick run to Marshall's and Target. The boys are desperate for socks, and I need a new dressier coat. I got a new ski coat this fall, but my old wool dress coat looks, well, old and out of style (big shoulder pads, etc.)

The party this weekend is at MIL's house, so I wouldn't worry about a dress coat for that - hey, we're not leaving the house! But, I don't know if you remember that D didn't ski last weekend because our friend's father passed away? We knew them from college, and his so dad was in the Chicago 'burbs. The cause of death was unknown, so they had to do some tests, and the services happen not to be until Saturday morning, about a half hour from MIL's house. So, D & I think we need to go, and I need something other than a ski coat for that...

Woody needs tennis shoes, but he wants to go, so that means a trip to Kohl's this afternoon, too.

The flight tomorrow which I thought was at 5:30 appears to actually be at 5:12, and that 15 minutes or so means that I think we need to pick the kids up from school and just go on. The bus has such a range of arrival times that if it's on the late side, I'd be worried about having time to park the van in the remote lot, etc.

I still haven't decided what to do about the bags, other than buying those seats last night. I just don't know, now that I have to add funeral clothes and shoes (FIL's party says "casual" - though my MIL's idea of casual is different than mine, I didn't need to worry much about anything other than jeans and a pretty shirt, but the funeral means a skirt and boots), if I can get my stuff in a carry-on size roller bag. I think we may still have to check my big bag. I may just have to pack and see, then change my mind if I don't fit.

Anyway, it's bus time, so I need to go. Also trash day, so I do need to go out with them.

Yikes! Gotta run!

And Many time I can not chime in till now... I am up BY 6:00 Sara catches the bus at 7:15.. Joshua at 8:15. It's a BUSY COUPLE OF HOURS... cant jump on AND CATCH UP from the day and/or night before.

We A potential INTERESTING DAY today... I take Joshua to the Orthodontist at 2:00 for X-rays AND that "IMPRESSION" I HOPE He does not freak out about either one

But at least I know the stuff STILL EXISTS...


OUr weather is whcacked this year... Snow all around us... and because Roanoke sits in a "Bowl".. Mountains ALL AROUND US.. The snow is not making it OVER to give us anything.

So I'm ready for Spring. If it is not going to snow... I might as well be doing Yard work

Well I woke up way too early and tried to go back to sleep, but it was restless. I had to wake up to take my car for maintenance. So I'm now sitting here waiting for it, thank goodness for Wi-fi.

Now that Christmas is over and I really have no want fro the white stuff we can just move right into spring. Although I don't mind it so much when we get the 2 hour delays from it letting us sleep in an extra 2 hours.

School was cancelled for Linds today because of snow. In one way I'm happy and get to have both the kids home but in another I now need to find them something to do.

We do have to run to the grocery store later on for dinner stuff and I think I might take them to McD's for lunch and to let them play. Definately going after the lunch crowd hits. Although the county the McD's is in had a 2 hour delay so maybe it won't be so bad.

I need to do the same for my DS, thanks for the reminder! Linds has an appt next week at the peds so I can get it done then.

I have been such a wet noodle these past few days,,,I cant seem to get anything done! even now I'm still in bed and confy and warm...but I have tons of laundry to fold and have to get out and get some cat food...

I think I'd rather stay in a warm bed and surf the web than fold laundry and do chores to.
