In August I used a FP from 3:30 at 8:30 and they didn't question me (although it was for TT and Jo was with me...she is royalty ya know:rolleyes1 ) It all depends on who is working and large the crows are I think. They weren't letting people do that with Toy Story Mania in August, but then again the crowds were HUGE!

I'm sure it is, except for maybe TSM. We did it for Soarin' in Aug.

With me and Bob! (Ours were from earlier in the day too!)

AND, please note in your touring plans that if you don't get to TSM immediately after rope drop, you may be skipping it!

Our experience in June and Aug. were the same! Pandemonium!

::yes:: ABsolutely. Get to DHS at rope drop and RUN, don't walk to TSM. FP's were gone by 10:00 both days were were DHS!

:thumbsup2 Got it! I've finished our first MK day, and I'm moving on to Epcot for our first half day.

I'm one happy camper! This is so amazing. Dawn loves her some charts!!!! ::yes:: :cloud9:

A question for anyone who's been lately... When we visited last year, we would get FPs and just hold onto them until later in the day. As long as we came back after the return time, we were allowed to use them. Is that still the case? :confused3
99% of the time, yes. I've only heard, though not experienced, trouble at Soarin and TSM.

Yay! Aren't they the best? And I love that I can save them on their website, or convert them to PDF's and save them forever on my computer.

That almost sounds like flying by the seat of your Pants... My PLAN OF CHOICE !!!!:rotfl2:
Oh it's all planned just in my head :rotfl2:

I just looked at my pin that I got and haven't been able to use and just saw that I can't use it for my birthday or for Yani's or anyone in my family's bday. :headache:
:headache:

I know... But thinking is stressful and I just don't want to do stressful right now. :headache: :rolleyes1
Sorry :rotfl2:

kristel - thanks for the recap

 everyone.

only 2 more days on dayshift, then i can get backt o midnights!! wooo whooo

my 10yr old is very anxious about his new school, then he woke up vomiting this am. has a fever ,so i thinks he has a virus and not just anxiety issues.
poor thing. i thought my dd would have trouble adjusting, but she seems fine.

i'm going to relax for a bit, then fix dinner.. living out of a suitcase sucks, big time, but it could be worse.

jen -- back in 2 days ...................yip eeeeeeeeeeeeee

maybe be back later!

We were typing at the same time. Nope. That's the 5th snow day already, and it's the first week in January. Our summer release as of now? June 24th, same as last year (which totally stunk, as we start around Aug. 25th), but we've got a lot more winter to go. :scared1:

Wow! That's really late to be getting out of school. We get out in May this year. We started school August 11th though.... Next year we start the 13th and get out the last week of May again.

The bus for the h.s. rolls down our street at about 6:45, so I hope the calls are automated to go to them first, as when I was a teen, I'd be up an hour before the bus to blow dry my hair, make big fringe, etc. :lmao: At least for us, we can turn off the alarm and not wake the kids up when the call is that early. :confused3

Our bus for the HS comes right around 7am, so we get the calls around 5:30 too. I think the bus drivers are notified the same way, so they have to make it early enough to let them know that they don't have to come in as early. I work it out the same way as you, CE. I immediately turn off my alarm and go back to sleep!

I got the whole main level clean, a load of laundry done, paid a bill, cleaned off my desk and showered!
GO US!

I did the upstairs yesterday and finished downstairs today. I did the living room over the weekend when we got the Christmas tree down though, so today it was basically just the kitchen. I also got the rest of my scrapbooking stuff organized before picking up DD4 from preschool, going to the Y to workout and then home to shower before hitting the chiropractor. DD7 has Brownies at 6pm tonight, so I've got to start dinner pretty soon. I'm tired though......

T - Hope the Benadryl works for you!

Jen2 - Just over a day to go now!

Dawn, would you be happy if I answered your question, nope haven't a clue, have a great trip, Jo :rotfl2:

Dawn, would you be happy if I answered your question, nope haven't a clue, have a great trip, Jo :rotfl2:
Nope. :snooty: That's not gonna do it!
I know some people were talking about it on the DIS, and I read a press release type of thing on WDW's site, but I want to where to go and how to get involved in it.
So, get busy researching! :lmao:

It's not really good for any times I would want to use it, though.

But.

It's burning a hole in my email. 40% off is awfully tempting... I may need to just call and see what I can do with it...

That's cool!

Good Luck today CE! Hope you still get to keep power and get some rest in today.

Thanks, so far, so good on the power, and though the weather is still saying ice through midnight, to me the radar looks like we're getting a break. :confused3 I'm actually fairly hopeful at this point that we won't have problems.

And I took a three hour nap, but not sure it did much. I don't feel that bad, so now I just feel groggy. :rotfl:

My graduating class was 60 kids. The largest in the history of our town! LOL!

::yes:: Then you know what I mean. Ours would have been 22 if we hadn't had the other school merge in, so we were officially the largest at the time, too.

V? V? What's that I hear. I think it is the Poly calling for V?

:rotfl:

I did get dinner in the oven and made a homemade Italian Navy Bean soup. OMG...it tastes sooooooooo good! My mom would always make this for b-day parties and this will be my first time making it. Can't wait for dinner tonight. LOL

Hope y'all are having a good day!

Sounds great! (Of course, with my sore throat, soup in general sounds good!)

Nope, can't do it for my Bday - my boss will be out of town and I have to work. I also can't afford to spend ANYthing for a few more months. AND, the PIN is only good Sun. - Thurs., or has minimum lengths of stay for Sat. arrivals. They've made sure FL AP holders can't use it for a weekend getaway. :headache: So I need to first factor in taking Leo out of school and me out of work - if I can't find a way to do that, there's no reason to call.

That really stinks!

i'm going to relax for a bit, then fix dinner.. living out of a suitcase sucks, big time, but it could be worse.

Hi, sweetie! Sorry about your DS, but (though this sounds weird) I'd be happy with a physical rather than an anxiety issue, if you KWIM. Not that I want your kids to be sick, but...

*******************************************
D sent me upstairs, where I couldn't get warm. Finally added another blanket and did fall asleep, but as I said, since I wasn't feeling THAT bad, I don't know how much I needed the nap and now I just feel groggy.

My plan was to make taco pie tonight, so I think I'll start on that pretty soon.

I can't believe I'm flying in 48 hours - I have done NOTHING to prep for that. I was kind of scared to start laundry because I was afraid of the power thing, but I may bite the bullet and go ahead with that.

Since we're flying United, we'll be charged for bags, and I don't know what I'll do about that. (We almost always take Southwest - free bags...) We have to take the car booster seats - in NH the boys are legal without, though we still use them in the van, since they're there, you know? - but in IL they are required. So checking those is $25 immediately (and hopefully they'll put them in one bag and not two, making it $50). I don't know if I can get the boys' stuff all in their own carry-on size cases, and get mine in my carry on, or if I should pack my big bag with all three of our stuff and just bite the bullet on taking it. I am leaning that way, so that I can check my lotions and stuff - since we're going to MIL's, she has that kind of thing, but I kind of like my own, you know? D is very good at packing and both his cases are carry-on size.

Sorry, just thinking out loud again... ;)

Well... I need to get the kids in and start dinner, I think. See you later, maybe!

I hope you feel better pronto!

Also- Couldn't your MIL buy some of those $20 booster seats from Target and bring them when she picks you up? Then she could keep them in the garage for next time. Also, you wouldn't have to tote the dumb things. :confused3

What rides do you think my kids will want to ride at AK? Kirt usually goes to ride the two big coasters while I entertain the kids. We did the tour last time and saw Lion King, but that was a bout it.

How's primevil whirl? :confused3

Dawn's is a good idea...or can you bring them on the plane as their carry-ons and have them sit in them in the seat? Are they full back seats or just the true booster that elevates them a bit?

Thanks, Dawn - and that is a FANTASTIC idea. I've always said that it seems weird to me that for two more years, we'd be done with ours here, but have to keep them for when we travel to IL. I may ask for that. :thumbsup2

Sorry, I "quoted" rather than "multi-quoted". No, they're not airline approved as they're just the backless boosters. I suppose they could be carryons, though, in the overhead. Hmmm. I'll have to check into that, too! Good idea! They get two carryons, right? So I could have their backpacks with activities and a booster under the seat or overhead... Hmmm...

You guys are lifesavers!

I just took my maiden name off, I'm happy with the old friends I have on there and don't need more :rotfl2:

I never put my maiden name on because I only had a select few I wanted to be friends with. After I posted some HS pics, people are finding me. I thought I marked that the photos can only be seen by friends.

I shopped most of the day. I bought 3 Coach purses for my sisters - great prices on them all. Then I talked to a friend who said she thought I should get something more sentimental since this is our first sisters weekend. I found these Brighton ID bracelets that say "Sisters" on them, so that is what I am giving my sisters.

Thanks for all the input.
