This show gets a lot of hate from people but I enjoy it every year

I'm ready to hear welcome to the black parade again to start the show to get everyone amped up

I like the show but it’s such a pain in the butt to get in and out of stadium. It becomes a time suck especially if you have limited time at the event. Hopefully they bring the lagoon show back.?

Ya this is true. You basically lose a hour of time attending because you gotta line up early then it takes forever to get out.

It'll be my first time! Amped to yell/sing along to the black parade (as seen from videos).

Honestly, as someone who frequents Hollywood, I'm excited to see ANYTHING other than the Jabawockeez. And while the Purge show is cool since it's in the Waterworld Theater, it's just not exciting/funny enough to be worth lining up for.

Going to our first HHN this year. Hopefully I'm brave enough. We are going on Halloween. Do you all suggest getting the early admission ticket? Does it really help you get ahead of the crowds? We are also staying on property but it doesnt seem like that gives you much advantage

It can help. But it's crowded now a days it's not a huge advantage. But it will get you through one maybe two houses before the hoarde at the gates are released

It can help knock out a big IP house or you can go later and stay until close. After midnight the waits get lower.

Thank you for the help. We will definitely stay until close. If we dont get the early pass and go in with the masses, what time do you all suggest to arrive? Or is it better to just wait 30 or so minutes after opening for initial crowds to calm down?

Just curious is express out of your budget? I refuse to go without it.

One other thing - and I've said it before - the houses are not as good during Stay and Scream - so yeah if you just want to do a house and knock it out that's great, but many times I have done the house early during stay and scream and really missed a lot because not all scene were running or some SAs were missing and it makes a big difference.

I'd then do the same house an hour or two later and it was so much better.

The same for many of the Scare Zones - they are not highly staffed until it gets darker - and they also don't really pop until its darker

I have express and do several nights in a row so I have a lot more flexibility - but I much prefer going in about 30 minutes after open unless I am specifically taking photos - which I really don't bother with much anymore.

I may do more this year as it sounds like its going to be the best in years - so I have high expectations.

I would look at the price of a single night express pass for the day you are going. Early access is like $40 I think. Also if you’re not super concerned about doing all ten houses then you probably don’t need anything extra. I would expect the Five Nights house to have big wait times like we saw with Strangers Things.

Okay I just scrolled back and saw you are going on Halloween which is a Friday night so probably going to be packed.

Got some friends Interested in going so looks like I'm going mid sept for a night. Gives about 2 weeks asfrer opening weekend to work out some kinks

Thank you for your expertise!!! Early entry is $55, express is $260, eeek! Do I want to spend the money on express, no. Can I? Yes. My sons #1 priority is FNAF, I really want to see the Fallout house. I dont think we are expecting to do everything but maybe I should just bite the bullet and get express, hmmm

Express is very pricey - no doubt. Those two houses could be 90 minutes each at a minimum - those lines are endless.
I would go express over early entry every time - but its a lot of money no doubt.

Honestly - it's more than I should probably be spending - but once you have done express its hard to go without it.
I may not have gone at all had I not been lucky enough to get the express multilight ticket - but its a LOT of money.
