Just got an update from my mom. They think it's food poisoning?? Weird cause we all ate from the same place and he's the only one who got ill. At any rate, they gave him an EKG & full work up and everything is normal, except his Chemistry. They've got him on morphin (lucky duck! ) and he's resting.

Hello Fockers! Happy New Year's to you all!

Don't know if y'all remember me and I think the last I posted was back in October and you guys were on Focker Watch 6. LOL

But, with the new year I'm back! I have just been so busy with the holidays and the kids and I am so hoping that things will now slow down! I had a wonderful holiday with my kiddos and they are now spending time with their father. I miss them sooooooooo much and will get them back on Friday. (1 day left!!!!) They've been gone since Christmas Day and I've found out that I really hate sharing them.

My divorce was finalized a few days before my 30th birthday and I received the final divorce decree in the mail a few days afterwards. I e-mailed my attorney and said that was the best 30th birthday and Christmas present I have EVER received! I still have problems with the ex (of course because he's just an a$$ ) but hopefully he'll be shipped overseas with the Army sometime this year and I won't have to put up with him so much. :::cross your fingers for me::: (Plus that goes back to the whole sharing the kids thing LOL)

Anyways, I hope to be a more permanent fixture around here, if you'll have me.

I didn't wake up till about 10am We want to go somewhere today but it's grey and miserable ouside so I'm not sure, I have been sliding around on top of an iceberg dressed as a penguin though

nothing.... he woke up early today, worked all day, then drove 3 hours to come home. he was tired, so i didn't guilt him into staying up.. . they're are too many other important things to guilt him in to!!

Both kids are all hopped up on drugs and they were running around the kitchen and Evan slipped and fell trying to cover a turn and ate it. He's fine. Yes, he showed me his butt to see if it was red. No blood, all teeth are where they should be, so all is well.

Glad Evan is ok! Poor Kiddo. Gus ate it on the hardwood floor when he was 3! It was ugly man!

Chest pains, indigestion - he has a heart history, so my brother who's working in the ER tonight, told me to send him in. Hopefully it's nothing serious, but I feel bad Waldo and TE are going to spend the New Year in the ER.

Well, I got some rest. The eye is still way blurry and it's hard to watch tv or read because the two eyes aren't working together real well. BUT, my new truck is in the driveway and she's so PURTY!

I am making Belgian Waffles with Strawberries this am. The boys are still snoozing but I had better get started. The coffee at least....

AND I really feel so blessed to have you in my life. This year was pretty tough but you guys made it so much better! Mo's right. I DID have a good year, if only for the fact that you were all IN IT.

That took me a minute, Jo. i was cmpletely confused as to why if it was grey, you were on ice. Then I couldn't figure out why you'd dress like a penguin!

Am I think first American to post?! I wish I sleeping. Everyone else is in my family....
I don't know why I'm up. I went to bed at 1:30, but I guess when I woke, I started thinking about painting, so I'm awake now.

We had a nice night. We ate a bid dinner and got the Wii Fit out. We played and had fun on it until a few minutes before midnight. Then, we watched some shows and danced around and toasted the new year.

All three of the kids stayed up until midnight and they were really good. Today may be another story.

Happy Almost New Year Fockers!

Just got back from visiting family in MD. It was great - so good to see them again and Leo had an awesome time! We went into DC for a day, visiting the Air & Space Museum and Museum of Natural History on the Mall; tried the Baltimore Aquarium, but bit was too crowded so we had fun in a very cool and HUGE Barnes & Noble; and spent yesterday in Annapolis, where I consumed my weight in crab cakes and loooked at boats.

Oh.

And we played Wii. Yep, my aunt has it and catch this: Leo beat the pants off all of us playing golf and tennis! My New Year's resolution is to buy a Wii.


So how are things here? Anything I should know?

My beverage of choice is a bottle (maybe not the whole bottle!) of Perrier-Jouet and I'll be ringing in 2009 with my favorite peeps right here!

hey! Just because we're a buncha women spending New Years Eve online with virtual friends doesn't mean............uh........what DOES it mean???

My DH was sound asleep and snoring by 8pm, Michael was out by 8:30...leaving me to entertain my mother... When all I really wanted to do was spend the evening with my virtual friends and a few drinks...Happy frickin New Year...

V - didn't know you were away, but glad you are back, BTW did you go to the aquarium, LL's right it's a great one. Plus all those awesome restaurants at the inner harbour.

I plan on a lazy day today and tomorrow Murph is coming over to hit the sales. Having 5 days off in a row and not going anyplace is a strange thing for me, day 2 and I'm getting a little bored. See why I never take a beach vacation, I would go crazy!

I have started my spreadsheet for my next trip (38 days ) But with being so busy and now my feet, this is going to be very low key and restful one. Yeah, that does sound strange doesn't it. I am actually thinking of taking a couple of books with me, usually only take one for the plane ride there and back. Definately will be stopping to smell the roses this time around.

Nope, we never did go in - Leo wasn't up to dealing with crowds. Between the FL Aquarium in Tampa and Sea World, we see a LOT of aquarium life, so he wasn't too bummed about it, but I'd llike to go back someday. The inner harbor was beautiful!
