Morning Girls!

I'm up, I'm up. I need a few more hours of sleep, but TINK is in bed with me watching Super WHY.

I am so glad to hear that Waldo should be on the up. I seriously was having trouble falling asleep thinking about T's worries.

Lori- It is so nice to see you back!

Fockers, who missed the banter last night... sorry about the pages racked up.

Fockers who are only present partially... you know who you are... yea you!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Ok, well thanks for the reminder Janet! :thumbsup2

So Tony comes home from work Tuesday night - stressed out as usual, but there was something different in that wildly aggravated look on his face...

T - "So you wanna hear what my latest offer is?" he says...

Me - "Umm...what offer?"

T - "For work. You know, my JOB..."

Me - "Oh...ok, I give...what's this offer?":confused3

T - "They want me to do the Johns Hopkins project. But I have to commit to finishing out the job."

Me - "Ok, so..."

T - "Well, it ends in 2011..."

Me - "Ok, well, it's a job...more than I can say that I'll have come March. Ummm...where's Johns Hopkins?"

T - "Maryland."

Oooohhhh....I get it now. So he's a bit freaked out - doesn't want to spend 2 years on the road, which I'm not crazy about either. He has no desire to go to Maryland. Yada yada yada. AND he is freaking out prematurely, I think. He doesn't know any details, living arrangements, subsistence, etc...yet...

Well, I haven't heard a thing about my job yet, so I could end up out of work or on a long vacation come March, so I tried telling him he should consider it, we'd work it out, etc...we could possibly move to Maryland...whatever...

So it's freaking him out (remember my Maine freak out?? Well his is a bit magnified, making me look like I was excited about a prospective move to Maine!)...

But hey - it's an option, right? :confused3

Who knows...obviously, their opening an office in Atlanta is a pipe dream for them...just not happening. The guy who's there and supposed to be chasing work, pricing work and finding office space...yeah well, I think he's sleeping late, playing a lot of golf or something...sounds like NOTHING is happening there...

Stay tuned...more to come on this I guess in the next couple of weeks...:happytv:

Good Morning, Fockers! And Happy New Year too!

DD4 climbed in bed with us at o'dark thirty this morning, so I ended up in her bed. Got up at 8:30 because I had a guy coming at 9:30 to pick up a toy I put up on craigslist yesterday. I've had a few hits on some other stuff, so I'm waiting on some phone calls today.

Which reminds me, MIL called this morning and woke up with a horrible pain in her neck this morning. She finally got in contact with her neurosurgeon, who happens to be at the hospital today, so guess who's going back to the ER? And my FIL isn't feeling well and had taken his pain meds (narcotics) so he can't drive her there. So, DH is off to pick up his mom and take her to the hospital. I sure hope it's just a muscular thing....:guilty:

T - glad to hear that Waldo is doing okay. Give us an update when you WAKE UP!!!!!

We sure had fun last night, didn't we? Sorry about the page count, but it was fun. And Janet and I were chatting on facebook at the same time! Multi-tasking at it's best!

Today's plan is to get the tree down and clean. Also gotta watch the Rose Parade and the Winter Classic hockey game (Red Wings!!!!!). Chicago and Detroit are playing outdoors at Wrigley Field. Should be a great game. Huge rivalry there. I might even try to get the rest of my Christmas cards done during the game...:sad2:

Morning :goodvibes and Happy New Year!

T...so glad Waldo is okay.

And welcome back V.

***************************

Not much going on here. I've got sleepy kiddos and a sleepy DH and I'm on my second cup of coffee in an effort to not be sleepy. Fireworks were going until almost 2 in our neighborhood last night.

15 Pages.... WTH ???? :faint:
Did you guys even GO TO BED !!!

Me and "S'lates Stickers:rolleyes1" will be back

I love Maryland, LL. :cloud9: I'd come visit you.

I was thinking that, too! But everyone appears to be sold out online, so I don't know how much chance I have of finding one in-store. :guilty:

THere are a ton of them on ebay, but I don't know what you are looking to pay!

Morning Girls!

Just as a side note to this, you'd only be about 2 hours from Philly:rolleyes1

IT will work out LL. THat guy in Atlanta sounds like a real winner!

Which reminds me, MIL called this morning and woke up with a horrible pain in her neck this morning. Oh no, I hope it's nothing serious!:goodvibes

We sure had fun last night, didn't we? Sorry about the page count, but it was fun. And Janet and I were chatting on facebook at the same time! Multi-tasking at it's best!

IT was weird becasue we were posting here too. I was starting to feel a bit schizo!:rolleyes1

Today's plan is to get the tree down and clean.

THis is my plan too, as soon as Jim gets up and starts bringing up the boxes from the basement!

Morning :goodvibes and Happy New Year!

To you and your family too Kate:hug:

=======================================================

Sounds like Jim is up finally, so I can start doing :laundy: and cleaning and de-christmasing the house. I will be in and out all day ladies (and Mr. T;) )

That's weird... I thought I wrote that stuff and your quotes said it was from LL! :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Bad news, my good foot needs a round of cortisone shots, really bad news, my bad foot needs surgery, will schedule for after my next WDW trip which is 39 days away! (no commando touring this trip)
WDW does have wheel chairs, or ECV's.
Oh do tell!popcorn:: We bought my FIL the leg lamp one year (desk lamp). He has it right by his computer. My MIL LOVES it:rolleyes1

Classic! :rotfl2:

Me too. I was watching Anderson Cooper and kathy Griffon on CNN... which was um, interesting. :rolleyes1

She absolutely cracks me up and he's so nerdy. I love it! :rotfl:

He's fine.

Thank goodness. ;)

Just got an update from my mom. They think it's food poisoning?? Weird cause we all ate from the same place and he's the only one who got ill. At any rate, they gave him an EKG & full work up and everything is normal, except his Chemistry. They've got him on morphin (lucky duck! ;) ) and he's resting.

Strange that they think it's food poising, but I"m glad he's ok!

Don't know if y'all remember me and I think the last I posted was back in October and you guys were on Focker Watch 6. :confused3 LOL

Glad you're back Lori! :goodvibes

T - "Maryland."

I'm pretty sure they have direct flights to Orlando! :thumbsup2 And all the seafood you can eat! :lovestruc

Fireworks were going until almost 2 in our neighborhood last night.

Ours too! How much do you people send on fireworks? :confused3

Well our dinner last night was very disappointing. :sad2: The food was wonderful as usual, but the service was terrible. I know they are busy on NYE, but when they set the service standard so high, and don't deliver, it makes me even more annoyed.

Hey - how are you feeling this morning Jen??? Any better?:confused3
I'm moving in the right direction. Just slow as a turtle. Thanks for asking.:)

As for Maryland... It is a job!:thumbsup2 I bet you'd like it there. Not too far north. and... aren't men so... full of Drama!

We sure had fun last night, didn't we? Sorry about the page count, but it was fun. And Janet and I were chatting on facebook at the same time! Multi-tasking at it's best!
This is why you didn't get the tree down. :rotfl: You left me for another woman. :rotfl2:
T
Jimmy loves SUper Why especially know that he can read some of the words!
It makes it much more fun when you start understanding what they are talking about. :thumbsup2

So I was looking on Ebay for Wii...just don't wanna bite the bullet and spend the money.

Yet.

I really want one though...

Must. Be. Strong.

Haven't made any New Years resolutions, as I never stick to them anyway. They're more like guidelines, really...My goal is to better about money this year. Yes, it's late for thinking this way.

Facing unemployment and uncertainty, but hey - better late than never, right?:confused3

Thinking of running to the bookstore and picking up that Dave Ramsey book that everyone on the budget boards raves about.

Considered for a moment cutting a couple of credit cards up so I don't use them in some kind of grand gesture as "I really mean it" this time.

Can't. Do. It.:scared:

Makes me feel like that hiker that had to cut his arm off to free himself.

Only I can't do it:sad2:

I would rather just hang there and die...

So here I am, ready to run to the bookstore and where's my mother? NOW she's sleeping.

Can I just say that insomnia sucks? OR - is it even insomnia if you skulk the halls all night and sleep during the day? Maybe it's Twilight syndrome or something...

So anyway, have I missed it or have any of you made resolutions for this year? Any goals?

Did you wake this morning thinking, well, here's another year ahead of me...what am I going to do with it? :confused3

I want to take the tree down today too. Maybe I'll do that whilst waiting for mom to wake up?

Hmmm...we'll see...I'll be back soon I'm sure!!

Coffeee... Caw-feeee

Are you teaching the Yankees how to pronounce it? :thumbsup2

   I can't believe we waited so long. You may as well pick up a Wii Fit too, or you'll be heading back out later this week to get one! :rotfl:

Yup!

Everyone is getting a Wii. I wanna be one of the cool kids!:sad2:

No one wants to be the last kid to get the high top Reeboks.

15 Pages.... WTH ???? :faint:
Did you guys even GO TO BED !!!

Me and "S'lates Stickers:rolleyes1" will be back

Hands off my gift tags, lady! ;)

IT's no worse than drunken spanish night:rolleyes

Hey!

T, How's Waldo?

LL, things always work out!

Dang it! :headache: I'm the oral hygiene assassin once again.

That's too bad Angela. Hope it didn't ruin your whole night!:goodvibes

This is why you didn't get the tree down. :rotfl: You left me for another woman. :rotfl2:

:lmao:

It makes it much more fun when you start understanding what they are talking about. :thumbsup2

Losing weight for me. We'll see how ling I last:sad2:

No one wants to be the last kid to get the high top Reeboks.

I was always that kid:sad2:

Dang it! :headache: I'm the oral hygiene assassin once again.

:rotfl2:

Jim is up, but he hasn't brought up the boxes yet, so I can't start doing anything until he does that. I do have a load of luandry in the washer. Only 6 more to go. How is it that 3 of us have so much laundy:confused: :sad2:

We are watching the Mummers parade. The String Bands are the part we like, but they won't hit the TV until about 1pm!
