That's the big question... technically, layoffs will be done by tenure and I have the most tenure in my office, so I should be fine. But you never know.

while I may have things that COULD be eliminated... in light of our current situation I for one would gladly accept MORE responsibilty to take some of the stress off of this department

I like that! One of the potential pitfalls I see is seeming like I'm throwing other emplyees under the bus; your wording handles that nicely.

I just read on AllEars that the TTA is getting a rehab...April 19 to the end of August. What could possibly take so long?

Thanks everyone for the get well wishes. I'm sure they'll start working any time now! Bob called and emailed me a pic from the entrance to DL! He's in the Happy Place.

I wish you could be in DL with Bob, rather than be home sick. You so deserve it.

I want to go to Ip Dip II , I had so much fun meeting Jodi and everyone else. It is like knowing everyone is going on a school trip and you can't go .

When all the Fockers met, I felt like all the cool kids were getting together and I was left out.

So Erich and I went out shopping today and a cashier recognized me although I had no clue who he was. I was drawing a total blank, really embarrassing. He kept asking me all these questions about how I was etc. and I was just going along like I knew who he was. I finally figured it out after we left, he was somebody I worked with many many many years ago for like three weeks. Has this ever happened to you? Erich laughed and said I must have been very memorable.

Yes, this just happened to me. I tried to play it off and she ended up telling me who she was. I fessed up and told her I didn't recognize her. It was a friend of mine's aunt and I had not seen her since I was pregnant with BabyGirl.

So speaking of work, you know it's great when the top guys realize what a great asset you are, so great that they keep giving you projects to work on.

This is happening to Mr Diz. He is going to work at 6:30 and home at 6:00 then works on the laptop a couple hours. Last night he worked from 8-midnight. His project is complete end of March or beg of April. Hopefully things will calm down for him.

We went to see Doug's dr. at IU Med. The brain tumor is still shrinking.

That sounds promising.

My two big things I want to know about are: Is his pay going to stay the same and are you ready to buy our house for a fair price?

Kirt and I are meeting at the house at 2pm. Before that he's supposed to have a meeting with his boss to ask all his questions. He filled out an application at the bank for pre-approval Monday and we're hoping to hear something from them today too.

So, anyway... I'd appreciate good thoughts today.

My sister called this morning and wants to come visit for a few days.
she was back in the hospital last week. she called me on Monday in tears because they wouldnt let her out. she was released yesterday because she told the phsyciatrist that she wanted to go to her sisters to stay for a while. the kids are staying home. Mom is dropping her off tonite. should be an intersting couple of days. I havent called Steve yet to let him know.
I should run to the store for a few groceries. I wanted to go to the mall. but now I can do that with Elizabeth tomorrow. Angelina has no clothes!!! I ordered a few things from the Childrens Place.com. but they are too small..she has a little belly. and that makes it hard.
Bens out of the shower so gonna get ready for the store. We need a shopping smiley!!
