I'm working on Angry Troy for an October trip for Food & Wine. I'm hoping to incorporate it into Girls weekend, if no one cares. I can ditch him a little. :rotfl2: He also fits in with the girls really well, but I don't want him to crash.

Is he getting tired of meeting the Fockers? :lmao:

I want to go to Ip Dip II :sad1:, I had so much fun meeting Jodi and everyone else. It is like knowing everyone is going on a school trip and you can't go :guilty:.

Spoodles
The Wave loved it
Wolfgang Puck Cafe
Maya Grill
Chefs de France had mac & cheese last week, yum!

These are obviously some of my faves.
Cali Grill (2TS) :thumbsup2
Narcoossees (2TS):thumbsup2
Yachtsman Steakhouse (2 TS) want to try
Hollywood Brown Derby (2TS) :thumbsup2

My opinions are in red - and I'm going through the same thing; trying to branch out and try some new (or at least new to Leo) places.

The Signature dining places seem to be winning. I guess I can live with no ADR one night and use the 2 TS someplace.
I put Maya grill on the list since we're staying @ CSR, but I'll trust V.
Thanks guys! :goodvibes

I'm sitting at the computer with kleenex actually STUFFED up my nose. It hurts too much to keep wiping/blowing and it won't stop running!

I'm telling you that is an excellent method. I may have used it before

So is Bob meeting w/ T @ DL?

Mel said:
Z: We loved The Wave when we ate there during FF2008. You know I love Narcoosees. I haven't tried the others, I don't think. I think SD ate at Spoodles while we were at BW in June. He liked it.

Yeah it seems it's gonna be between somewhere in the Contemporary or GF.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I ordered pizza and am watching some Netflix online. I'm feeling really lazy since a certain monthly visitor decided to show up.

I'm thinking of hitting up JoAnn Fabrics later as they have some cool paper out that would work perfect for my thousands of unscrapped Disney photos. :p

Lessa, I knew my bail would be more than yours. :rolleyes1
I've had longer to complete things on the list

 I am very innocent even for somebody my age.

So Erich and I went out shopping today and a cashier recognized me although I had no clue who he was. I was drawing a total blank, really embarrassing. He kept asking me all these questions about how I was etc. and I was just going along like I knew who he was. :lmao: I finally figured it out after we left, he was somebody I worked with many many many years ago for like three weeks. Has this ever happened to you? Erich laughed and said I must have been very memorable.

It's the only thing that works. My poor nose hurts!

So is Bob meeting w/ T @ DL?
He wants to but he's got meetings at weirdly sporadic times all 5 days and he's still sick. He told me that he'll let me know if he feels better and he's going to be AT DL. He's all over the area as far as I know. I can text T then if she's available. He just didn't want to set a time and then not make it.

Erich laughed and said I must have been very memorable.

Wait. Was he cute?

MEL:banana:

HI Fockers...

Janet - lurk on the Transportation board, I have gotten some good ideas for rentals and coupons there. And the beauty of car rental is you can book and cancel as many times as needed.

Oh and  for Jimmy

V - you just crack me up:lmao: as I am sure there will be changes to the changes

V and Janet - remember at GG be very careful of Chip, you don't want him trash talking you like someone you both know and love. Which BTW I am still referred as the Chip Killer by a certain 8 yo.

Mel - I didn't know NotBob was in Ca. He HAS to find time for DL, I love that park:love:

Dawn - if you have any relocation questions let me know (especially the tax impact), as that it the type of company I work for, I'm on the International side now, but used to be Domestic.

*************

So speaking of work, you know it's great when the top guys realize what a great asset you are, so great that they keep giving you projects to work on. I know I shouldn't complain in this economy, but today I literally was in meetings back to back from 9:30 - 3, with no breaks. I muted one call so I could sneak and heat my lunch up in the microwave. With so many meetings, how the heck am I supposed to find time to actually DO the work. My VP tells me I can't keep working 10+ hours days, but the work has to get done and they aren't hiring to keep up with the work we keep getting. I know again, I shouldn't complain as we are signing clients (more companies outsourcing the work to us so they can cut head count) but since other areas of our company are hurting we can't hire as many as we need to keep up. And they annouced this week a salary freeze, better than layoffs though.

Ok vent over Fockers.

Wait. Was he cute?

That's what I was thinking!

Wow that's rough. Do you have to attend all the meetings? At my job people like going to all the meetings to get out of working.

 Same boat here. Talking about furloughs, lay offs, shutting down and only running court 4 days a week. Who the heck knows what is going to happen. It's kind of why I am going going whole hog on the trip this year. If any of these scenarios occur it may be the last for a while:sad2:

==========================================================

I booked the airfare:woohoo: . We fly out on the 9th 11:47AM and arrive in Orlando at 2:20PM. Coming home we leave Orlando at @ 2:30PM and Arrive in Philly at 4:55pm. I just couldn't pass up that great of a deal. As LL says you gotta spend it to save it:thumbsup2 Now, I will be lurking all over trying to get a decent car rental rate. If we can keep it around $200 I will be happy!:thumbsup2 My only condition with the car rental is I want one of the places right in the airport. I don't want to have to Schlep onto a shuttle bus.

WIth those flight times we should still be able to make Boma for dinner at 5:00pm, even if we go directly there and then check in at POP afterwards don't you think?

Sounds like she's got alot going on in her little head that she might just need the doctor to help her work out:hug:

Your right. I was at my wits end over a month ago and am slowly heading back in that direction with her. Better to get the help she needs than have further problems down the line. Thanks! :)

Lori: Yum Meatloaf!

:thumbsup2 Its a well liked thing in our house and we have no leftovers. I was thinking as I was getting it out of the oven tonight, 'Mmmmmm...meatloaf sandwhich for lunch tomorrow' but no such luck. :(

UGH...I hate when that happens. But he must have a good memory!

Not much planned for me for the rest of the night. Kids are in bed and I'm waiting about 20 minutes before I turn the OC Housewives reunion on. I like to fast foward through the commercials. LOL

I may be back on but if not have a good night. :goodvibes

Airport rates are gonna kill you. Catching the Thrift Bus has never been a big hassle. Is saving 50 bucks worth it ??How about 85 ?? I have seen prices that much higher
L & M is usually the cheapest IN the APRPORT... Never used them so I don't know anything about them

V I will be at Epcot on Friday May 22nd is that when you meant !!:worship: I have ressies at Chefs for 5 pm !! We have to connect I will plan according to your sceduleas it's just me and I can do what ever I want !!:cool1:
Forgotten who said they loved th Wave but I am lookingfo reviews ... sooo can you fill m in on what's good etc !!
Mo I know what you mean about meetings I have so many this coming week and soooo many deadlines !:scared1: I went in at 7 am worked till 4:30 and then raced to my other job and got home about an hour ago and spent an hour on the phone with scheduling !! :sad2: It's a nightmare as we are on ZERO overtime for staff and yet still have to cover shifts and hospital covrage etc and the sweet gal who was on call while I was off gave like 9 hours of O/T and I had th wheel and deal to get rid of that !:woohoo: !
Jo Iwill mis you by a few days in Sept couldn't you come earlier likethe 18th or 19th !!!

Hello my lovelies! Lots of TRs and planning going on.

Z posted a couple of mini updates here. She said the line for tres drunk Mexicans was longer than the line to cross the US border. The Vikings boat was stolen. The day was saved by the candy lady. Then she was denied the pleasure of sucking on a goose due to electronic meltdown. Wonderful pics of you and the BF

Mel's nose is running but the rabbit isn't.

Jodi is watching hockey or the Amazing Race or dying her hair or doing taxes. Maybe all - not necessarily in that order. DD5 is better.

Kat is having pizza and DVR night.

T can now chat at the speed of light.

Rosie is pooped. She needs feedback on The Wave.

V's PA friend is having dinner with her and going to see Leo's riding lesson.

Janet feels bad because she sent Jimmy to school and he 'tossed his cookies' all over the place. He was placed on couch arrest when he got home.

Dawn is boxing up stuff. She was busted for trying to secretly stash some toys in certain dumpsters.

Jo got another medal for her outstanding golfing skills. Then spent 2 hours learning about the joy of flower arranging. Jo, how many flowers does it take to make a 2 hour arrangement? :rotfl2:

MrKS is going to WDW in Dec. with her son and his G/F and her 2 kids.

Lori says Lindsey doesn't have ADD/ADHD. She is just having some trouble adapting to the changes going on around her.

Lessa ran into someone who clearly knew her - she had no clue who he was.:scared: She remembered later. I think we've all been there.

Mo needs to be 3 Mos to get things done at work.

We went to see Doug's dr. at IU Med. The brain tumor is still shrinking. He is now saying we will stay the course, Temodar, for 6 more months. He believes that there may not even be enough left to do any type of radiation at that point. We'll have to wait and see.
I've got a full schedule of domestic carp for tomorrow. Groceries, cleaning and run Max to the vet for the post op. I'll see if I can get a video of him for you tomorrow to load on here.

Nobody has been sick here for a while. I hope it stays that way. A lot of people at work have had the flu thing that won't go away. I swab everything down at my desk area because it is a shared station.
:grouphug: all around.

Rise and Shine Mel !!:goodvibesHope you are feeling better this morning !!

I can tell you that I'm not anywhere close to the top ten this time. It's just been too crazy around here lately. I'll try harder in the next incarnation of TFW!

So, we've got a half day of school here today. I've got Bible Study this morning, after which I'll come home to pick up DD7 from the bus and head up to pick up DD5 from preschool. I don't know what our plans for the afternoon are. We need to go to the library to return some DVDs that are due, but the rest is up in the air. I should go to the Y to workout, but I'm not sure if that's going to happen or not.... depends on the girls.

Anyway, I hope everyone has a great day!

Morning, all. I'm up early because today's hopefully a day for answers, so I couldn't sleep... :sad2:

Kirt and I are meeting at the house at 2pm. Before that he's supposed to have a meeting with his boss to ask all his questions. He filled out an application at the bank for pre-approval Monday and we're hoping to hear something from them today too.

My two big things I want to know about are: Is his pay going to stay the same and are you ready to buy our house for a fair price? Kirt thinks he may be able to get a raise, but I'm not so sure since they just asked most of the employees to take a pay cut last week. :confused3 Also- If I like this house, I want to be able to make an offer on it. We can't if we don't know what's up with him buying our house. I don't want to have to put it on the market, if I can help it. I hope he wasn't just saying he'd buy it and that he'd do just about anything to get Kirt back there, You know? I'm stressed. Can you tell? :scared:

I feel like there's a million things to do and until we get some answers today, I'm kind of stuck. I did almost finsih Aidn'es room and 3/4 of the school closet yesterday. Once I get newspaper, I'll be able to do much more.

So, anyway... I'd appreciate good thoughts today. :goodvibes

I forgot to mention that we're looking at flying now. Once I thought about how much gas will be both ways, food, a hotel... then food all weekend (not to mention an activity to entertain the boys) in Dallas, it started to look close to the price of flying. Also- since Kirt would only have one day off before his anniversary date, he'd have to fly to the beach later this year, instead of driving. Which would cost another $120.

I found flights for $89 each way from SA, but Kirt's not happy that we wouldn't get to Orlando until 2pm. He said we wouldn't get any park time since we have a ADR at 5:30. So, I found one from Austin for $99 and we'd get there at 11:30. He's happier with that. Both flights are direct and only 2.5 hours, so that makes me happy too!

The day we fly in is my BIRTHDAY!!!!!

I'm so glad this trip is planned. I could use the break from reality. Plus, it makes time go faster. We'd probably move the week after we get back. :thumbsup2

I'm off to shower (CE :rotfl: ).

Morning All !
Thanks Kristel for your awesome update again!! Yes I still need Wave Reviews !!:)
Another busy week still looms ahead I have so many freekin' meetings the next 2weeks it is ridiculous !!:scared1: But in 81days I will be on my way to THE WORLD!!!
