AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Say a little prayer for the appliance salespeople at Home Depot, because I'm off to buy a new freaking washer. As of today, the piece of &%#@ is no longer using cold water. Can't get it to work. Tried switching the hot and cold hoses, thinking fine - I'll just switch them and set it to Hot... and then realized all my settings are cold rinses, so that wouldn't work. So I put the hoses back... but forgot to turn off the water first and sprayed down half my house.

I'm not a happy camper. Even if this thing could be repaired, I'm getting a new one. I need this thing out of my sight! :rotfl: :headache: :rotfl2:

Ruh-roh. Have fun shoppin' for appliances, chica.

Hey all. Off to Target. I'm snack mom for the week. HAve to providfe 4 days of snacks and juice for 30 kids :faint:. I'll chack back in later! HAve good day everyone!
WHAT!!!! Your schools do some weird stuff, we just buy our own kids :rotfl2: Plus the only snacks they're allowed are fruit or cheese!

The teenages had their weight's worth of buffalo wings! Then home for cupcakes.
Sounds fun :rotfl2:

Then we went to dinner at a "nice" steakhouse. We had a GC which we hadn't used, but it no where near covered the well overprices meal. I am going send an email to the restaurant to give them a review of their overpriced, yet non memorable menu and atmosphere. My $40 6 oz. petite filet was well done and served on this little metal cooking tray that wiggled around every time I tried to cut into the meat. blah...
Hope they listen!

I am very phleghmy and if I am upright too long, I have this kind of closed-throat, tickly cough, yucky breathing issue. Fun!
Fell better

Jon's appt. is first thing in the morning...and I hope I've alive.
Good luck and feel better

Hoot Hoot! I love it! What's the progression for the girls?
Here--Daisies---Brownies--Juniors--uh.......?Cadets? (didn't get this far)---Seniors
:rotfl2: Here it's Rainbows, Brownies, Guides then Rangers!

We won our golf :yay: :yay: :yay: We beat them 1 up and they beat us 1 up when we played them at their course so to decide who wins the group (there are 3 teams in our group) went down to who beat the other team by the most and that was us :woohoo:

Feel better gluv and CE:hug:

V - my blessings go to the salespeople;)

So instead of doing a real trip report, since I never finished the last one...

I landed on time at 10 am on Sunday and immediately went to the Croc store. WHY? you ask. I covet V's khaki and pearl capris. Yes I said covet, ever since I noticed them in one of her trip reports and haven't been able to find them in over a year. The website only seems to have size 5 and 10's. Well, the store didn't have them either, but they did have cretes in white and khaki . I tried them on and left wearing them;) Just doing my part for the economy.

Now the night before I left s'lates DH joined the Big Mac fan club on FB and I started craving one after seeing the pic. My plan today was to hit my favs at AK and you know what is near AK? That's right McD's. So on my way to AK I found myself stopping at McD's for a Big mac:thumbsup2

I put everything into the trunk and just grabbed my AP and some money and went bagless to AK. I hit EE via single rider line, grabbed FP for the Safari and then went to FOLTK (which was my first time ever seeing it) I really enjoyed it and one day will see Nemo, maybe. By now my FP time was just about up so I slowly made my way there and went through the Pagnani trail where I got to see a gorilla throw a temper tantrum. NOT A PRETTY SIGHT.

I have actuallly skipped the safari a lot on recent trips, but hit it right today, the right driver, with lots of animals out:thumbsup2

It was starting to get warm out and I was happy that I had switched to shorts prior to leaving the airport. I hit EE one more time via single rider(though it was still a decent wait, thanks to all the cheerleaders) By the time I got off it was almost 3:30 and I was tired, I had been up since 3:45.

Off to check into BWV. I had a BW view studio on the 2nd floor. I had requested something near the elevators. What's great about that is the first section is considered preferred views, so I had the 2nd studio that was considered BW view. I was near the lobby (the lobby is on the 2nd floor at BW), but not too near. It was perfect for getting the paper each morning etc but far enough that you didn't hear any noise.:thumbsup2

Right after I got in the room, GG called to let me know my food order was there. I called Bell services and about 20 minutes later it was delivered.

I was now starting to get hungry again and decided to see if ESPN had a table. I was able to walk right in and get a table in front of the big screen. Now if I had finished my last report you all would know about the turkey and brie sandwich I had last time. It's so good it has a cranberry mayo on a whole grain bread. SO GOOD, that's what I ordered again. HMMMMM.

I decided to hit EPCOT for dessert and found myself at the tea shop in UK, love those Cadbury bars. I was going to try and make it to Illuminations, but I was just too tired and found myself home early and exhausted.

So that concludes day 1 Fockers.

Yay MO!

I so need some entertainment today.

Wha??? No pics lady???

V, I'm so sorry!

Mo, great start!

Jo, way to go!!!

Janet, I know how that goes. I've been better at Target lately, but I used to never leave without spending $80 at least.

I made the executive decision that since Woody's had lots of chances to play outside, but we rarely see a movie, we were just going. Only now the plan has changed to Pink Panther 2. We didn't drive to IL in January, so we didn't have our big bag o'movies with us, and the only thing that D's mom had that the kids might like was the box set of the original Pink Panthers. Aside from all the (I hope) over their head raciness, they loved the stupid sight gags and stuff. We've not seen the first of the Steve Martin ones, but it's PG, so I think we'll be OK.

So we need to leave in about 20 minutes, and I need to get the dog out. The movie's only an hour and a half, so I think I'll make it. I just want to lie down, but a dark theatre with comfy chairs is almost like that, right? :)

Anyway, I'll be back later. I hope when we get back I can talk them into a nice long bubble bath that will take us to dinner time. :thumbsup2

So that concludes day 1 Fockers.
Fantastic Mo and next time we meet tell me which Cadbury chocolates are your favourite :thumbsup2 BTW keep meaning to ask, if $ were no object BC or GF?

Jo - Congrats.:goodvibes

Jo, way to go!!!

Thanks :goodvibes

Have fun and loved your edit :rotfl2:

I'm off to catch up on TR's now I have me laptop back :goodvibes

Mo- Fun trip, so far. What is it like going alone? I have often thought it would be a totally different experience.

CE- I too have been "good" at target. It is tough though. :cool2:

Jo- I bet it is great having a lap top again!

_____________________
I forgot to tell you that I am still without a cell phone. I dropped my phone last Wed. and won't have a new one back until at minimum Friday. I feel naked! Btw... never get the ATT insurance plan... it totally SUCKS!

Jo - Glad you got your laptop back and :woohoo: on the win today!

Janet - Glad Jimmy enjoyed the Dora show and you had a good day at the mall window shopping. DR is just getting into the Power Rangers so I have a long time to go before they are out of my house.

CE - Glad that the headache is gone and hope you start feeling better soon! Have fun at the movies!

Kat - Good Luck with work! I'd say it was time to start looking for a new one.

Jen - Hope you feel better!

V - Sorry and Good Luck with the washer shopping.

Mo - Sounds like a great way to start off your trip. Can't wait to hear more.

 to all I missed!

UGH...I feel like I have what is going around here. Headache, achy, sore throat, cough. All I want to do is lay around on the couch all day. DR is starting to get a cough and sore throat as well so this probably won't be a good few days.

Another UGH is my brother had my van out last night, since his car needs brakes, and it broke down. GREAT...he thinks its just a belt so hopefully it won't be costing a fortune to fix. I'm just worried on how I'm to get the kids to and from school. I'll be fine in the morning taking Linds to school because my dad hasn't left for work yet but getting DR to school in the afternoon and pick up will be a problem. Plus, Linds has her psychologist appointment tomorrow. UGH!

Not much else so I'll be back later to check up on y'all.

T - I knew I'd forget someone. Will you ever forgive me?

:lmao: I was only messin' with you. Somehow I completley missed that your roof practically caved in - so forgive me! Glad to hear you're safe!:goodvibes

That's what Brownie leaders here are called, Brown Owl is in charge then there's Snowey Owl, Little Owl etc
Owl, huh? Sounds like something you'd call an old person. :rotfl:

Hey all. Off to Target. I'm snack mom for the week. HAve to providfe 4 days of snacks and juice for 30 kids . I'll chack back in later! HAve good day everyone!
D'Oh! That would drive me bonkers. So you only have to provide snacks 2 or 3 times a year? That doesn't sound too bad, actually.
Then we went to Buffalo Wild Wings. The teenages had their weight's worth of buffalo wings! Then home for cupcakes.
It was good. I like 16 yr old birthday parties! No work. Movie, feed them, then you're off the hook. Whoo hoo!
No pin the tail, no treat bags....love it!
Sounds like you had a great time, Mel. :goodvibes
Kat, I generally avoid putting my opinions on anything happening in others' lives on teh web, but I jsut have to with this: please keep looking for another job. They've got all sorts of labor law issues going here, and, more importantly, you've got to take care of you!
Kat, ITA with V. ::yes::

Well at least you had great company, right? ;)

I gotta help Daran get the trampoline outta the gully soon--he said I may have to drive the tractor:eek:
Hmmmm... how'd that trampoline get down there, TE? :rolleyes1
Back from Target. Of course I got hings that weren't on my list, mostly for Jimmy. A lamp for his room, some new underwear for him, and some new sheets for his bed. I got all the sancks for the week for his class. $200 later:sad2:
:lmao: Sorry, Janet - but you soooo sounds like me.

Ooh... V - Try Sears if you don't find anything at HD. They have the purty washer dryer combo's on sale this week. :thumbsup2

Ok, Fockers.... I need some experts advice.

Here's the deal:

I found GREAT fares on American for our August trip. $298 round trip! :faint: Well, here's the problem.... arriving flight leaves at 8am in the morning and arrives at 4:30pm in MCO and the departing flight leaves at 1:45pm arriving LAX at 3:30pm. My problem is we'd have to leave Disney at 11am on our last day - barely enough time for breakfast.

My other option would be to pay $91 more (per person) and take the red-eye on Delta leaving LAX on the 30th, arriving MCO at 6:30am on the 31st. And the departing flight leaves MCO at 7:45pm. Literally giving us just about 1 more day in WDW.

SOOOOO... WWYD? :confused3 Save the money or lose a day at Disney?? :guilty:

T- I think you need to wait a bit to make the reservations. That seems high for the cheapest. Is that normal for your airport? If not, I'd take the extra day.

The lowest we've ever paid for flights to MCO are $360. The most we've paid was $425.

Can you have him take video of this please

=.
:lmao: Too late! Good news--I did NOT drive the tractor off the cliff........Bad news---I DID forget which way the bucket lever went and almost hit him in the head! (and I think he was cursing....but I really couldn't hear cause of the tractor.....sometimes my hearing loss is a good thing!)

Hmm..........$298 is a good deal for cross country---is it nonstop??

And it was HIGH WINDS that blew the trampoline away.......there was NO trampolining involved! ;)

Mo---enjoying the TR--now I want a Cadbury too! I need to go to Epcot!!!

:faint: Really?! I swear, I always see good deals from here to LA - guess they don't go the other way. :guilty: What about Air Tran and Southwest?

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Back from Home Depot and the new washer's coming on Tues! They had a sale - 10% off and free dleivery, which made it less painful. Got me a Maytag for $376. :thumbsup2

Have fun and loved your edit :rotfl2:

;) Thanks.

CE- I too have been "good" at target. It is tough though. :cool2:

It is. I don't know how I'm resisting. :goodvibes

I dropped my phone last Wed. and won't have a new one back until at minimum Friday. I feel naked! Btw... never get the ATT insurance plan... it totally SUCKS!

I remember you dropped it. Sorry for the delay!

CE - Glad that the headache is gone and hope you start feeling better soon! Have fun at the movies!

Thanks! I am better, I'm just still wheezy and really run down. I hate being run down. But I'm glad the headache is gone. :thumbsup2

Another UGH is my brother had my van out last night, since his car needs brakes, and it broke down.

I hope it's cheap and easy! :rotfl: (Sorry, my mind just went to the gutter again. I have no excuse.)

I forgot my edit quote wouldn't show up, but I felt that was a typo I had to fix. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

SOOOOO... WWYD? :confused3 Save the money or lose a day at Disney?? :guilty:

Well, OK. If you get to MCO at 6:30 a.m., do you really get a full day out of it, or do you crash hard in the early afternoon? Would you do much more than you would arriving at 4:30? I realize there's ME and check in and so forth before you hit the parks, but...

The return would be a tougher one for me, I like the late flights out so that we can do nearly a full day on departure day.

Can you possibly go a little cheaper and do the red eye in with the late flight out for maybe a little less of a price difference?

I'm not helping much. I'm sorry.

:lmao: Too late! I could picture this so clearly. :rotfl:

Real women drive tractors. ::yes:: ;)

Back from Home Depot and the new washer's coming on Tues! They had a sale - 10% off and free dleivery, which made it less painful. Got me a Maytag for $376. :thumbsup2

Woohoo! :cool1:

I need a new washer. We bought our set from the lady we bought the house from, and we've already had to replace the dryer. I want one of the pretty ones, but we don't need a new dryer, so the sets seem like overdoing it. But then it seems weird to get one of the pretty new washers and not get the matching dryer... Sigh. :rotfl:

Hmm..........$298 is a good deal for cross country---is it nonstop??
Sadly, yes. That's the thing that really kills us - the flights. I always budget at least $1600 for flights when planning a trip. :faint:
:faint: Really?! I swear, I always see good deals from here to LA - guess they don't go the other way. :guilty: What about Air Tran and Southwest?
I tried both. AirTran is $245 and Southwest is $189 EACH WAY! :headache: We get the best deals from AA, I think LAX may be a hub for them. :confused3
Back from Home Depot and the new washer's coming on Tues! They had a sale - 10% off and free dleivery, which made it less painful. Got me a Maytag for $376. :thumbsup2
My mother swears by Maytag. :thumbsup2

Nope, you made perfect sense... this is what I came up with....

Take AA on the morning flight ... arrive MCO @ 4:30pm. = $130
Take the United on the returning flight leave MCO at 7pm. = $190
Total R/T $320!! Woo hoo!!! I win!! :woohoo:
ETA: Non-Stop - BOTHWAYS!! :teeth:

Now I just need to run it by the familia. :rolleyes1
