My kids are off for their third day in a row and my school actually cancelled as well. I am so sick of snow!

I doubt the kids will have school tomorrow and their Valentine parties will be cancelled. Lindsey is supposed to have a 100 Day party on Friday and they are supposed to have some kind of t-shirt made with 100 things stuck to it. I haven't even started on it and with the way roads are looking won't be able to get to the store to pick up anything either. UGH...again I hate snow!

Jimmy has to fill a bag up with 100 things that was due tomorrow. I am thinking they won't have school, but I want to get it done just in case and then he can take it in whenever they go back.

Ugh.

My neighbor just took my kids, and was very nice and gracious about it. But I played horridly, and frankly, so did my partner - we both just kept looking at each other like "I'm so sorry!" The other team didn't beat us, we definitely just continually missed. Oh, well.

The snow is falling, but mostly it wasn't sticking. The whole drive on the interstate was fine, my main-ish road to my house was a little gloopy, but then our road is covered, and I actually skidded a bit trying to get into my neighbor's driveway.

It's not supposed to be too much worse, but it is supposed to pretty much keep snowing through midnight, so we'll see how much sticks. The gym is hosting Boston College vs. Florida State men's tennis, and the kids really wanted to go. If the weather holds as is, we'll go for a bit. Tara's daughter has her tennis lesson tonight, so they'll be there for a bit, so why not? The homework is done, since we did it last night before finding out that there was no school.

Boston is getting slammed, but we are lucky that we are not!

I totally spaced on the school Valentine's until Woody said something on Monday night. He wants to make his, and has 5 done out of 16, but Buzz wants to buy some. I think we may leave early enough tonight to go do that before we go watch the tennis, I guess. Either way, he'll have to do them all tomorrow night (unless we don't have school tomorrow, but I'm guessing delay at worst.)

Jim is out doing a second round of shoveling, trying to keep ahead of it. I told him we need to invest in a snowblower. Kind of late for this year, but I ma thinking maybe for Father's Day and maybe it will be cheaper then We dont' need a huge one, but I don't need him dropping dead of a heart attack either, KWIM?

Jimmy has been watching videos all day, but after this latest one (Ninja Turtles) we are going to take a break and work on his 100 Day of SChool project and start working on his valentines, just in case.

If they do have school, I think I figured out what I am going to send in. I am going to make a batch of brownies and a couple of bags of M & M's on hand. I will make the brownies and then cut eah one (heart shaped) and then put it in a baggie with some M&M's, what do you think. Kind of limited since I can't get anywhere.

Yeah, I don't see that happening. As I said, we MAY delay in the morning if it keeps snowing most of the night (which stinks for fun tennis class, but whatever) but there's no way we aren't going Friday. Plus, since we have vacation the next week, we aren't getting President's Day off.

I just don't get it. It's automated, but it does leave a message, so you'd think they'd leave us alone in the early a.m. if we've already gotten the one the night before.

Just stopped early this morning. We woke up and the freakin' foothills just above us have snow! That's crazy!

They have officially closed school for tomorrow and I have a feeling that they will shut us down again too. As Mo said this isn't supposed to stop until around midnight. Jim and our 2 neighbors have been taking turns shoveling every hour or so that they can keep ahead of it.

Jim and Jimmy are having lunch and then are going to go play in the snow. I am going to do some laundry and watch some TV, I don't do snow

They actually closed the office's campus today, never did that in 4 years I have worked there, but we still have clients that expect us to be working, I had 4 client conference calls today.
