Argentina.

HOw long is he gone for?

Nice wins, CE & Janet.:thumbsup2

Thanks!

So, did you go to DLRpopcorn::

As long as I have a bed :rotfl2:

::yes::

Last night was funny, when I went up to bed I saw that Boo was sat on the end of my bed, I did a few bits and when I went to get her to put her downstairs she had disappeared. Half an hour of searching later and with David being pathetic and thinking she'd got stuck somewhere I found her. She was in Ellie's duvet cover, actually inside it where the duvet goes. I only found her the second time, she is getting very sneeky and obviously doesn't want to be locked in the kitchen every night as she didn't make any noise whatsoever and even when we shook her food she stayed put.....little devil

Smart cat :rotfl2:

We went to the mall today and I bought a new handbag, trouble is it's way smaller than my old one and I can't fit everything in :rotfl2:

That's usually my cue that it is time to clean out the handbag!:lmao:

++++++++++++++++++++++++

Good morning. Despite not going to bed until almost 11:00am Jimmy was still up at 7:30:headache: I called out of wok yesterday and then just checked in to make sure everything is kosher. I got Jimmy's OT appointment changed from 4:45 to 11:15, so that will be good. We can do the rest of the errands we didnt' get done over the weekend done and still be home by dinner time:thumbsup2 The schools will be open tomorrow I am sure, but then Wednesday is a carp shoot since they are calling for another 1 -2 feet Tuesday night into Wednesday:scared1: All this snow has even convinced Jimy to move SOUTH when we retire:lmao:

Hope you all have a good day. I'll check back later:grouphug:

Just realised I didn't tell you all this and thought you may like to know that (sorry it's slightly comlicated) my sisters FIL has just sold his London flat to Chelsy, Prince Harry's girlfriend and apparently he's moved in too. Get this though they asked for some furniture to be left so Prince Harry is now sleeping in the same bed that Emma has :rotfl:

OMG:rotfl2: She'll be famous!:lmao:

I know it's ridiculous, but I'm so depressed over the Colts loss. :sad1: I like New Orleans and thought I'd be ok if they won. Yea, I'm not. ;)

 Glad school is going well!

:wave2: Thanks Janet!

Boys went out sledding. Were there for about 2.5 hours :faint:/ Then they came home, built a snowman, and now they are playing in the backyard. Me, I too a shower, am doing laundry and am getting ready to make the cord bread top for the chili!

:faint: I'm exhusted just reading that. My kids want to play out in our so bad but I have to tell them no. With them both having ear infections and colds I don't want them to get worse.

Hey Lori...I'm with you and Lessa on checking in.

Congrats w/ school going so well and stay warm!

:wave2: Thanks Z!

LORI it's good to hear from you. I'm sorry about your little sickies. I figured you got the snow too.

:wave2: Hi Kristel! Yep, we got snow, not a ton, but still enough to close everything down for a day or two. We're supposed to be getting more in the next few days.

Kristal said:
I don't have any real news. Doug is just a tad better than he was. No huge miraculous turn around. At least he doesn't seem to be getting any worse. I'll take that if nothing else.

And, we did a "pick a square" pool and I got a call just after getting home that I won the second quarter draw! :thumbsup2 We did a buck a square, and I picked 10 squares, then we were paying out $20 for each of the first three quarters and $40 for the end. So far, I'm up $10 and could still win the last two, possibly. Yay, me!

:woohoo:

We had a Super Bowl party here at our house with just family and at the last quarter we did squares. My uncle ended up winning $25. We said next year we should do a bigger one and then we all can win more money.:thumbsup2

WE did too, through Jim's work. We won $100:thumbsup2 ($2 per block)

:cheer2: Enjoy your day off!

It's been an exhausting day... I cooked, then I cleaned, then I cooked, then I cleaned, then I baked and I cleaned. My fingernails are all soft and bendy right about now. :sad2:

I'm tired just reading all of that!

Awwww...that is too cute about Boo! Holly (our kitten) likes to sleep under the covers as well. I need to be careful at times when I go to bed because I don't know if I'll be kicking her or not. It's always quite a surprise though to feel something furry in the middle of the night. LOL

I need a new purse too and will hopefully get to do some purse shopping tomorrow. A few girls I go to school with told me about this cute little shop with knock-off designer purses and I might go look there.

Just realised I didn't tell you all this and thought you may like to know that (sorry it's slightly comlicated) my sisters FIL has just sold his London flat to Chelsy, Prince Harry's girlfriend and apparently he's moved in too. My kids don't have school today but I still have classes. Actually I'll probably have to skip my computer class and then go to my Medical Assisting lab. It depends on if I can get my dad or brother to watch the kids for me. If I can't then I won't be going to either of them. I have a feeling there will be a lot of people calling in today. Between the Super Bowl and the snow.

Not much else is going on. I need to study for a MA test tonight and that's about it.

Hope y'all are having a good day!

I've been playing around with the idea of going to DLP for a while, and now TE's jumped on the band wagon. It's hella-expensive, but they do have some good deals (Kids under 12 play and stay for free) etc. I was on the website and priced a fantastic deal for next March, when I realized it was in EUROS not USD! :rotfl2: Now I'm thinking of using DVC points instead and putting off another WDW trip for a few years.
:scared1: You're killing me T! :sad1:

I know it's ridiculous, but I'm so depressed over the Colts loss. :sad1: I like New Orleans and thought I'd be ok if they won. Yea, I'm not. ;)
I'm sorry Angela.

Sort of. ;) WHO DAT?! :woohoo:

Morning! Nothing new here at all. Same old, same old. :surfweb:
It's even still freakishly cold; I had actual ICE on my car this morning! Yeah yeah, I know it's not as bad as the dumping Janet got, but really - it's FLORIDA for goodness sake! Enough with the cold!

This has been the longest winter since we've been here. :headache: El Nino. I really hope hurricane season isn't bad without Mitch.

We went to the mall today and I bought a new handbag, trouble is it's way smaller than my old one and I can't fit everything in :rotfl2:

But is it cute? :)

HOw long is he gone for?

He gets back pretty late Friday night, I think. They took two planes, and Deb's DH was on the other one. He thought she needed a break, so she went, too, on her pilot free pass deal. I'm a little jealous! We watched the Samantha Brown show that I'd recorded, and it looks really lovely. :goodvibes

The schools will be open tomorrow I am sure, but then Wednesday is a carp shoot since they are calling for another 1 -2 feet Tuesday night into Wednesday:scared1:

::yes:: We're showing 80% chance on Wed., but now the local guys are saying, "It looks like it's tracking pretty far south again, so only the extreme southern part of the state will have much chance of accumulation." Even D, who wants snow, REALLY wants the snow up north on the ski hills, not in our driveway. And, of course, he's gone. :sad2:

Just realised I didn't tell you all this and thought you may like to know that (sorry it's slightly comlicated) my sisters FIL has just sold his London flat to Chelsy, Prince Harry's girlfriend and apparently he's moved in too. I know it's ridiculous, but I'm so depressed over the Colts loss. :sad1: I like New Orleans and thought I'd be ok if they won. Yea, I'm not. ;)

I'm sorry - like V, sort of. ;) Sports can hit us weird sometimes. I remember how truly depressed I was for several days back in 2004 when the U of I lost the NCAA championship. Yes, I rooted for them. Yes, I'm an alum, but I was also 10 years out of school at that point, and it shouldn't have mattered that much.

We had a Super Bowl party here at our house with just family and at the last quarter we did squares. My uncle ended up winning $25. We said next year we should do a bigger one and then we all can win more money.:thumbsup2

::yes:: I felt it wasn't bad at $1/square for a 10x10 grid. I bought 10 of them, so I'm still up $10, and it's kind of fun. Too bad I left before winning anything, though!

I know it's not as bad as the dumping Janet got, but really - it's FLORIDA for goodness sake! Enough with the cold!

::yes:: You didn't sign up for this. ;)

This has been the longest winter since we've been here. :headache: El Nino. I really hope hurricane season isn't bad without Mitch.

I really hope so, too.

*************************************************
I really wasn't up that late nor did I overindulge, but I had a bit of a hard time falling asleep last night. I admit totally that I got up and got the kids out, then actually went back to bed. Didn't even nap on the couch, sort of snoozing - flat out back to bed. :rotfl2:

I've been back up for a while, though - talking to my neighbor and I will be leaving to do the team tennis practice in a few.

She's excited - she got offered a part-time job doing online academic advising at a local college. She (like me) has worked for colleges before and loved it (like I did) and so it's good. But, as she was saying, she applied and did all this, and now is freaking out that they are looking for a 12 month person, not a "school year" position, and what would she do with her kids through the summer, etc. They're in 8th and 3rd now, so really they'd be OK for the 4 hours a day she'd be gone, but she's a little more of a worrier than I am, and I think it's at least partly that whole reality check thing that mostly any of us SAHM's would have about how much life will change once we had to do something every day.

Anyway... I need to think about going, but I wanted to stop in and say hello. ;)

Hope everyone's having a nice Monday so far. I'll BBL. :grouphug:

T--this is the Marriott where we are staying near DLP---it came out $160 euros for a 2 bedroom townhouse which I was amazed at.Marriott DLP..............just realized I typed a dollar sign in front of that! I don't have the cute Euros key like Jo tho! ;)

* EuroDisney Paris resort with 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom townhomes that accommodate up to 8 guests
* Enjoy our resort's indoor and outdoor pools, on-site spa & fitness center near EuroDisney Paris
* Resort overlooks Golf Disneyland with 27 holes of championship golf at your doorstep

We are staying at the Hilton Arc de Triomphe in Paris at the beginning of the trip. It has good reviews too--but we need 2 rooms there---everyone is telling me that the Europe rooms are too small for 4 Americans!

+++++++++++

Facebook is acting weird--the past two times I logged on, I have got a whole page of Janet updates. :confused3 Must be a sign that I need to talk to Janet!

Hi Janet! Are you covered in snow?? Do you need us to dig you out?

Hope y'all are having a good day!
Hi Lori! :wave2:

This has been the longest winter since we've been here. :headache: El Nino. I really hope hurricane season isn't bad without Mitch.

Well, like I mentioned... it's too cold for DLR today. I've got laundry to do and some errands to run. Tomorrow is my Brownie troops Valentine's day party and they decided on making it an ice cream sundae party, so I need to go and get all the fixin's for that and also find a fun Valentine's craft.

Hope you have a good Monday. :hippie:

:rotfl2: He actually sold it months ago but it was all hush hush, the papers had the story last week!

Here is a photo of the Super Bowl parade, V do you recognise the CM in the bottom right hand corner? It's Gary who is in charge of the stars who you met when we were there in December :thumbsup2

Well, my tennis team is becoming riddled with injuries :scared: - one of our girls had some floating cartilage removed from a knee Friday, then today, both girls who were supposed to play the "second doubles" match on Wednesday decided that they have too bad of tennis elbows to play - one couldn't even serve today. So, now, I am playing on Wed. (assuming we're not snowed in.)

But, since they are both out, I get to play with my favorite partner. ;)

Hi! Remember me?

Been a LOOOOONG weekend (starting on Thurs) but a great one. I have to upload the pics and the videos today sometime and then I'll give a full report. It was a really wonderful anniversary tho.

I have a to-do list a mile long for this week because KC is off tues-fri so he can help me finish a lot of things. And apparently our bed bugs came back, never left I suppose. So we called the realty company and they set us up with a day for extermination BUT i don't think they checked the surrounding apartments, and thats why they came back in here in the first place. So i am waiting to chew them out and get this taken care of before Fri when they are set to fumigate. Did you know its a HUGE process to have them exterminated? We have to wash every article of clothing and linen and plastic bag it before they can come in. We also have to remove everything from the walls ans move the furniture to the center of the room. AND leave for 4 hours after the treatment, then 2 weeks later do it all over again. So this is not going to happen until the building checks the other apartments because I am NOT doing it again. And I am going to harass them for reimbursement for the laundry costs too. Fun week ahead.

I am taking the census test this wed as well, so hopefully some $ will be coming in soon.

Off to knock out some to-do list stuff!

OMG, I am soooo embarrassed!

So I went over to the Dollar store and found these cute candy necklace making kits for my Brownies. They were kind of in a tight corner right behind a cracker sandwich cardboard display, so I went to move the cardboard thingy over just a bit, and the whole thing fell apart and dumped like 5 gazillon packages of sandwich crackers all over Aisle 5. :rotfl2: All I could do was stand there and laugh with my nephew. I can't believe that happened. The only person that saw what happened was another lady and she was busting a gut. I sheepishly went to the front and told the cashier what happened. SHE started laughing too, and told me not to worry about it. OMG, that was soooo embarrassing! :rotfl2:

Good afternoon all. Jimmy's OT appointment went really well. After that we headed to Wally World to stock up a few essentials with the next storm coming in. I don't like to go there, but $1.97 for bread as oppposed to $3.19 makes it worth the trip. I only get non-perishable stuff there. This was a new Wally World for us, at it was actually pretty nice.

Stopped at Friend;y's on the way home for lunch.

Now we are here. Jim is watching Classic Carson, Jimmy is playing Power Rangers and I am doing :laundy:.

Hope everyone is haveing a good day. BBLpirate:
