Congrats Kat! You and /??KC look great!

Kat I don't suppose you know how we can put a regular DVD onto the ipod touch do you? Do we need any special programs or anything?
Andy does that, Jo with a program he downloaded off the internet. It's called DVDFab. Don't know how he does that, but I know he had to convert the DVD to something and then he loads up the iTouch. We watched quite a few movies on our way to WDW. He also got my DSi to play movies as well. :thumbsup2

I'll ask him for you.

**********************************************
Not much going on here. I've got to head to the kids' school today to help out in the classroom, then a run to the mall for jeans for Evan (AGAIN!), and a Target run somewhere in there for the Valentine's candy.

Hope you all have a good day! :hippie:

Lori - Hope they cancelled school for you too.

Kat - The weekend looks like it was lots of fun:goodvibes

CE - I take it school was not cancelled?

T - Isn't it crazy how fast they outgrow the clothes:headache:

JO - I'll trade your cold for our snow;)

Angela - :wave2: When is the pool is supposed to be done?

DM - What's your job?

++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Good morning all. Jimmy slept until 9:30:woohoo:. On the flip side though he slept so hard and so late he had an accident. He was soooo upset:sad2: NOt much on the agenda today. Jim is out shoveling (shocking, I know) and cleaning off the cars. It's actually nice out. The sun is shining and it isn't too cold out. I think the boys will be off tomorrow but that I will have to go work. That's ok, I'm actually getting bored being stuck at home.

Doing laundry today, so that if I do have to go in tomorrow it's less I will have to do over the weekend. It is a long weekend for us so if it gets a bit nicer out we will probably do something with Jimmy.

Hope you are all having a wonderful day:goodvibes

Quick run by post, Bill uses DVDFab too. He has used it to convert to put things on our Blackberry's, the PS3 etc. He is going to use it to convert files to put on Josh's Itouch.

Hope everyone is having a good day, we are off to a meeting and I hope to chat with all of you later.

You wax your eyebrows? I don't think I have enough for that. I just have those stupid strays but mostly I have to actually put eyebrow pencil on!

Well, I pay to have someone do it. :rotfl: Seriously, I am weird, hair-wise. I have very thick and fast growing head and leg hair, but nearly no, for example, pit hair. :rotfl2: But my eyebrows are thick, and I am not good at all about doing them myself - they get uneven and weird. ;)

Mitch and I went to breakfast and then he's off to Tally for a meeting. The pool people are to be here this morning to fix the leak and then this afternoon to start putting the finish on. :thumbsup2

Excellent!

100% wow!!!!

Yeah, but then it quit. Ah, weather forecasts. So accurate. :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

I've just hooked the Wii up to the internet, anything I need to know or must do? How about the games you can buy are any any good?

We hooked ours up right away, but have never done anything with it. :lmao:

then a run to the mall for jeans for Evan (AGAIN!), and a Target run somewhere in there for the Valentine's candy.

Growth spurt? I made my Target run just now.

CE - I take it school was not cancelled?[/quot]e

Nope, so the alarm must be fixed (I knew the weather wouldn't cause it.)

Hope everyone is having a good day, we are off to a meeting and I hope to chat with all of you later.

Hi, Tracy! :wave2:

Well, I pay to have someone do it.

Me too, only becasue I like to get all the pain out of the way in one shot:rotfl2:

+++++++++++++++++++

I can't believe I am saying this....but I hope I can go back to work tomorrow. I am BORED. How much Spongebob and Pokemon can one person take:sad2: If I have to go in but the boys are off I will have Jim drive me in. If they have school I will take his car (all wheel drive) and he will take the van. I hate driving in the snow.

Kat - nice pics, glad you and KC enjoyed it.

Janet - sorry, but you have it much worse than me and we have it bad too:scared1:. How's Tink dealing with? Namath loves it, Rocky well, that's a whole 'nother story:sad2:

Flora, hmm, do I know you, seems something familiar about you;)

*********************************

I can't believe how many didn't make it to the office today, it's dead here. Which is nice, getting a lot done, like yesterday.

Did you guys see the stuff that WDW is doing for the summer season. Makes my want to book a weekend as it seems its only through August, and I'm not back until Sept. HMM, wonder what the AP rates look like as I don't have any points to spare after 4 trips last year.

Anyone know what June is like. No interest in July and well August is so close to my Sept trip. Wonder what airfare is like....

She hates it!

I did and I am so sad I can't go this year!:sad2:

ToT update. :cool1:

Anyone know what June is like.
Hot, crowded. Is that what you meant? ;) Probably if you come earlier than later, it may be a little better.

My mother didn't email me back, but my sister talked to her. My mother tried to tell my sister that I did know she was going to use a picture of everyone to which my sister promptly put her in her place, and said no, I didn't. :rolleyes1 My sister is so good. :goodvibes My mother's response, "well, that's too bad." :scared1: Honestly? Your child is embarrassed by the photo you sent out, and that's too bad!

My aunt is staying with my grandmother the first week my parents are here, and then if it's ok, I guess with me, but of course I haven't been asked :rolleyes:, my aunt will put my g'mom on a plane to come here. No, it's not ok. I cannot deal with her 2 weeks before Mitch is leaving for a year. They all think that because I don't work, I'll be happy to do whatever they want. I'm tired of being a doormat and if my mother honestly doesn't care how I feel, why should I bother?

The lady that used to clean my house called yesterday to see how I was doing. It really made me feel good that she cared enough to call because we only saw each other 10 minutes every other week when she came to clean. It reminded me that I need to take time to do more nice things because one small thing can really make a difference. :goodvibes

Exactly!:thumbsup2

Well, Jimmy counted out 100 rubberbands for his 100 Day of school project, so that is done. He finished his nouns homework. I don't remember doing nouns in 1st grade:confused3. He is ahlfway done his cards. So, we have to finish that up. Now I just have to do my homework, which is to bake brownies for his class party tomorrow. I am holding off until they make an official announceent about school before I do though. I am on my 4th load of laundry. Jim finished shoveling and is now taking a HOT shower, the poor thing is aching with all the shoveling over the last few days. Oh, now they are calling for another 3 - 6 inches of snow on Monday. I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE :faint:

:rotfl2: Can't you find a book, music to listen to, something other than work?

I finished all the books I picked up at the library.

Good for your sister. Sorry about your mother:hug:

The officially closed school tomorrow, but no word about the courts yet. I think I am going to have to go in, which is fine. The boys will stillhave to get up and take me to work though. Then they will proabbly go to breakfast and do some sledding. I have to see if there is going to be a Cub Scout Meeting tomorrow night too.

Kat - your renewal ceremony and all the happenings looked wonderful! :cloud9:

So, off I go to work. Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Thanks! and nice to see you!

I'm so glad. :goodvibes Crumbs is a sponsor on Howard Stern and they are always talking about how good their cupcakes are. :thumbsup2

Love the orange! :thumbsup2

Mitch and I went to breakfast and then he's off to Tally for a meeting. The pool people are to be here this morning to fix the leak and then this afternoon to start putting the finish on. :thumbsup2

They really are the best cupcakes we have found in the city, and we have been to several places! And hooray for the pool being almost done! I wanna come down, I need nicer weather!

Kat I don't suppose you know how we can put a regular DVD onto the ipod touch do you? Do we need any special programs or anything?

We use Zilisoft, but we also pirated it LOL. Kc says for a free one to try: Videora (at videora.com)

Congrats Kat! You and /??KC look great!

Thanks!

Kat - The weekend looks like it was lots of fun:goodvibes

Thanks. You're snow pictures are making me feel not so bad about the snow we have.

Kat - nice pics, glad you and KC enjoyed it.

Thanks. Glad you aren't snowed in too bad. I think we may be going down in June (only to WDW for a bit tho) but I can deal with the heat after that Aug trip.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well most of the snow is either gone or piled up on the corners, oh the joys of city life.
We have been hibernating but tonight have to get out and start doing all the darn laundry so we can have it all bagged up. We changed the appointment for the extermination until next thurs morning. Now we are battling a lying super and hoping that the realty company will get the other apartments checked before we go through all this. I really fear they will come back if things are properly taken care of. So frustrating.
The darn dog upstairs is playing wioth some loud scraping toy all day too, which is not helping my sense of urgency of getting the rest of the to-do list done.
Anyone else read Meg Cabot? Any suggested books or authors? we got a gift card from B&N and now I need to find stuff to buy! :)
Have a great day everyone!
What's your new job?
I thought you knew. I've been back to work for over a year doing medical transcription. It's a wonderful job for me.
It is bitter outside so I'm staying in :rotfl2: about 20 minutes down the road they've had tons of snow and 200 schools are shut :eek: it didn't reach here though!
I've just hooked the Wii up to the internet, anything I need to know or must do? How about the games you can buy are any any good?
How cold is bitter to you? :rolleyes1 We haven't hooked up our Wii to the net. Too afraid. :confused3
:hug: I'm sorry.
Oh, now they are calling for another 3 - 6 inches of snow on Monday. I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE :faint:
You're kidding! I'm sorry. Once again, it's not showing up here. :confused3
Wow, that's getting to be a lot of snow days. I, for one, would hate that - but then, you know how I feel about school in June. ;)
Anyone else read Meg Cabot? Any suggested books or authors? we got a gift card from B&N and now I need to find stuff to buy! :)
I think I mentioned before that I liked "Size 12" but felt that the next couple were more or less the exact same story, which puts me off. I feel a little bad saying it, though, as apparently she's related to D's stepsisters through their mom (it's their dad married to his mom, so no connection to him whatsoever. :rotfl:)
Um, I've just read "Queen Victoria, Demon Hunter" which was silly fun, but I'm not sure it's released yet. If you've not yet read "The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie" by Alan Bradley, I really enjoyed it (and I have the pre-release of the sequel next on my pile! :cool1:)
************************************************
Kids are home and done with homework and Valentines! :yay: Woody opted to use bought ones for the rest of his - we just taped lollipops to those he'd already made. I half feel that he should do all one way or all the other, but I don't feel like the fight that would ensue, and everyone's getting candy, so I guess it's all going to be fine.
D did call this afternoon - I've not been talking with him much. It's two hours ahead, and it seems like every time I call, he's eating. :rotfl: They are leaving there pretty early in the morning, their time, but he won't be home for dinner, likely. They land at 6:00ish and so he probably won't be home until 8:00. He's had a nice time, though, and says Deb seems more relaxed, which is good. :thumbsup2
DM - What's your job?
Oops. Saw this after I answered Jo. I work from home doing medical transcription and love it. Nice to earn money again.
That's ok, I'm actually getting bored being stuck at home.
It's only nice if you're busy. But when you're used to being out and you're stuck, then that stinks.
Well, I pay to have someone do it. :rotfl: Seriously, I am weird, hair-wise. I have very thick and fast growing head and leg hair, but nearly no, for example, pit hair. :rotfl2: But my eyebrows are thick, and I am not good at all about doing them myself - they get uneven and weird. ;)
I wish I had the no-wax problems somewhere else. ;)
Flora, hmm, do I know you, seems something familiar about you;)
I've missed my Jersey friend! :hippie:
No, I'm so out of the loops. What are they doing?
Part Two:
The Vow Renewal. February 6th, 2010.
We had a spectacular, wonderful, fun filled, awesome weekend. It couldn't have been better, well maybe if my BFF, Laura(who lives in Fl) was there, but she was in spirit. We really had a great time and are so incredibly happy. I am thrilled beyond beief to say that we really are ok and that happiness is the only thing I see in our future. It was a really long year but this anniversary made it all seem like a distant memory and the only way to go now is up.
Your weekend looks wonderful, Kat! Love the orange that you and KC both had on.
Last and first... ;)
Hope you all have a terrific morning! (or, Jo, that you've had one! I forgot to say congrats on the golf yesterday! :) )
Hope your having a good day CE!
You wax your eyebrows? I don't think I have enough for that. I just have those stupid strays but mostly I have to actually put eyebrow pencil on!
That's how I feel with mine! LOL
:eek: Glad you guys didn't get the snow and I hope the cold goes away for you very soon. DR told me the other day that he wanted it to be summer and summer all year round here. :laughing: I told him I wish that would happen too.
Not much going on here. I've got to head to the kids' school today to help out in the classroom, then a run to the mall for jeans for Evan (AGAIN!), and a Target run somewhere in there for the Valentine's candy.
:wave2: Hi T! Hope you're having a good day too! I was thinking of doing a Target run just to get the kids out of the house but don't feeling like getting them dressed and bundled and dealing with it all. Hopefully tomorrow!
Lori - Hope they cancelled school for you too.
No such luck, but it was nice getting out of the house. :thumbsup2 I'm feeling like you and am sick of being snowed in.
I had class today but the kids stayed home with my dad. They were both asleep when I left and I'm guessing must have been asleep for a while. My dad apparently made German pancakes for the kids as well for lunch because I came home to a mess in the kitchen. LOL
I stopped at Macy's on my way home to pick up some dress pants. We are having a field trip to a nursing home next week for Medical Assisting and we need to dress professional. My days of dressing like that are long gone so I needed something.
All sale items were 70% off so I got 2 sweaters that I can wear now and then a pair of gray dress pants and a sweater set (cardigan and shell) for $60. I can wear the outfit for Easter as well since sweater set is like a purpley color and it should match the kids.
That's about it for me. I need to get dinner started and laundry as well. Lindsey's school hasn't been cancelled...YET!
Have a good one everyone!
What does everyone do for their kids for Valentine's day? I'm just curious ...
I usually get Jimmy a small heart of candy and a card. Nothing extravagant and usually Spongebob, becasue he likes those krabby patties
T - Isn't it crazy how fast they outgrow the clothes:headache:
I wish it was because he outgrew them, but he put holes in the knees of 3 of his new pairs of jeans. Grrrr! :mad:
We usually just get them chocolates. We keep it simple, but all week I've been sending silly notes in their lunches and making heart shaped sandwiches, etc. :goodvibes
