Just pop a brightly-colored Mickey antenna topper on there and you'll find her!
There you go! We did get the white one, btw.
And for all those who scoffed about our deep freeze down here... the weather gal this morning mentioned the S-word - that's right SNOW!!!

We may see some sleet and/or flurries this weekend. Un-believable.
Gosh, I don't have snow in the forecast this week.
Just popping in to say hi. Was up late last night playing with the new cell phone. If I had your cell phone number I texted you with the new number. If you didn't get it let me know. I will be emailing everybody too!
CE- I hate car payments too! Hopefully you can find what you like, with the smallest payments possible. I agree with V about the antenna topper. That was funny!
Thanks, I think we got a good deal and we can
afford the payments, but it's still going to take some getting used to, you know?
DH took the kids to school for me and I'm going to try to take a little AM nap. DH's alarm woke me up at 5. I think he didn't set it correctly with his phone (it's a synching kind). Darn me for getting him a new alarm for Christmas.
I hate the dang early alarm, though D's is always on purpose...
CE---I don't see a car pic??? What kind is it?
Got the white Taurus X, didn't take pictures, we pick it up on Friday.
(I think that's where you officially leave childhood behind--when snow becomes annoying!)
Goats are unhappy---they are huddled in a giant goat lump to stay warm.
Something about the phrase "giant goat lump" made me laugh so hard I cried.
My mom had a white car for a few years-she said she much preferred ti in snow etc to the black car she had later.
Yeah, I knew black would be bad, and we've had silver for so long... The white looked pretty good, all in all! It's much creamier than I anticipated, so it's pretty.
CE---Daran has a white F150 and for some reason, it always looks cleaner than mine---even now with all the salt and snow. Of course, I picked mine cause it's Hokie maroon color---so that's important too!
See, I think it just blends in!
Well I scored at Target I got a Christmas tree for$6 als nice christmas stockings 29c , candy for a dime !! Ilso picked up some in rom snx and breakfast bars etc for next month! Of course I hit the Travel size aisle got some sunscreen for my carryon!! I know V I am being optimistic !!!
Awesome!
I finished all the laundry, so I can start packing today. Hope to get it all done by the afternoon. Tomorrow is going to be crazy!
What time do you go?
Good afternoon everyone!!!
We got to bed at a human hour so I am actually awake and determined not to sit around all day!
Have fun!
Wonder if they have salt in Florida? They will probably declare a state of emergency and ask everyone to donate their table salt
Reeeally. Well that's good to know. Thank you, wise one.
It helps the roads immensely, but for example on my street, since we all have our own wells, they don't use much as it would also corrupt the water supply.

But the parking lots, main roads, etc. all are covered.
We went to Chili's and had two for one at lunch. Now I'd like to nap, and since it's so cold, I don't feel like doing much.
Welcome to Nov-Apr for me...
The girls have been playing in the snow all day and D and I went for a long walk. We then cleared the drive and path etc but since then we've had a few more inches and it's still snowing so no school again tomorrow
Wow, I think you've had more snow that me, even!
Hey everyone! Hope everyone had a great Xmas and New Years.
We did, thanks! Sounds good for you, too!
I also don't like the way the Flex looks, but the inside is super nice!

What did you end up deciding? Did you you get a car? What color?
Found a great Taurus X with low miles and every amenity I could ever ask for. I think it's going to take me a week to figure out the radio, and I'm pretty techie.
Hey all. Pretty good day here. Jimmy had an assembly at school and he got 4 certificates.
Fantastic!

Sorry, I started this post and then D decided that it was time to take the tree out.
So, yeah. We went down and drove the white loaded one, then the red one. Decided they were both beautifully cared for and it was just a matter of lower miles with really good options, or a little higher miles (but still good) with EVERYTHING. It took us a while to choose, but we wound up dealing for the white one. Got a decent amount for trade, and it was priced well under book value anyway. It rides like a dream.
D felt that the brake pedal was just slightly "spongy" so they needed to check that out for us, and I needed to deal with some registration/insurance things due to the fact that we bought in Massachusetts but of course live in NH.
We're picking it up Friday - I called the insurance on the way home and went to the town hall to deal with the registration after the kids got home. So, we're ready, and that's good. The dealership just slightly beat the credit union loan rate, so we did that there.
I'm half excited and half thinking "boy, we just spent a lot of money."

But truly, it's exactly what we wanted, I don't think we could have done better, and it's going to be good!
