CE---you'll like the Taurus X--they had great reviews when I was looking for a vehicle last year--just didn't have very many of them in this area.

++++++++

already a 2 hour delay tomorrow---and calling for 2-4 more inches....

Mary/Rosie---I'm going to Wilderness at the Smokies this Weekend for BA's birthday---we reserved a 1 bedroom deluxe and are taking 8 people for Sat nite. Hoping they will enjoy the waterpark! It was $305 for the nite which is steep but it sleeps up to 10....so that's her birthday party!

Where are you going? Disney?
We are doing the 3 night Disney cruise then 3 nights at SSR.

You will have a lot of fun.
We stayed there for 3 nights this past May. The rooms were nice and the staff was very nice. They will let you take your wristband off and give you a new one.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

They are saying it might snow here tomorrow afternoon or Friday. I got a message from the school this afternoon saying that tomorrow will be a half day in anticipation of the inclement weather.
We probably won't even get any snow. At least I made it to the grocery store before all the bread and milk was gone.

::yes:: That's why I was excited to find two at the same place today. They were only made in 2008 and 2009, so they are hard to come by. Everyone I've talked to who has one loves it - including one dealer who was lamenting that it was gone, as his wife loves hers... I don't understand why they have a car that everyone raves about and quit making it - when they make so many models every year that are eh.

OK, I think my DH is ready to move south - and not for the warmth, for the snow! :rotfl2:

Seriously, all my FB friends in IL are talking tonight about snow days and blizzard, Jo's snowed in, all y'all ;) in the south have snow coming, and here we sit in NH with no snow in the forecast for the next 10 days. :lmao: No fooling - we have maybe a 40% chance on Friday of "snow showers" but that's it - this is NOT normal. By this time last year we had already had something like 6 or 7 snow days. This year, one. I don't mind, but the skiing hasn't been good. The days that it did snow, it was way too windy to be out. :confused3

D's going nuts! :rotfl:

I thinkyou are the only one who got my salt joke:lmao:

It helps the roads immensely, but for example on my street, since we all have our own wells, they don't use much as it would also corrupt the water supply. :teacher: But the parking lots, main roads, etc. all are covered.

You have a well????

So, yeah. We went down and drove the white loaded one, then the red one. Decided they were both beautifully cared for and it was just a matter of lower miles with really good options, or a little higher miles (but still good) with EVERYTHING. It took us a while to choose, but we wound up dealing for the white one. Got a decent amount for trade, and it was priced well under book value anyway. It rides like a dream. :thumbsup2

Awesome. Be sure to post pics after you get it:thumbsup2

IT;s been so cold here I almost had Jim convinced, expecially when he saw housing prices...sorry V and Angela:hug: The only that would hold us back at this point is Jimmy and all his doctors and stuff. Wouldn't want to have to start all over, KWIM?

+++++++++++++++

Good morning. Let's see if anyone isposting at the same time as me this morning;)

Another cold day here, but it is supposed to warm up and then snow tonight into tomorrow. Just enough to make getting to work and school MISERABLE:headache: On the other hand it is fine and I don't want Jimmy and Jim to have to make up days at the end of the year.

I have a doctor's appointment afterwork for a check up -yippee:rolleyes:

This morning I was in a panic becasue I picked up the cell phone and saw that there was a missed call from my mother at 4:30 this morning:scared1: I got in touch with her about 7:30. Apparently she was awake and decided to program the new cell number into her phone and she wanted to make sure it worked:rolleyes:

Off to do some work, I am sure I will be back in a bit:goodvibes

I could have just bought the wireless BluRay. So now, I am trying to find him a wireless blu ray and everyone is out.
Silly question but why does it need to be wireless?

Gotta share the Nw FuzzyMath story !!
Samantha ..I got a 100 on my math test!!!!
Steph ..... I got 8 wrong... we had 7 questions !!!:rotfl2:

Now either she spelled her name wrong or this is the Fuzziest Math ever !!!:rotfl2:
Bless :rotfl2:

Hey all. Pretty good day here. Jimmy had an assembly at school and he got 4 certificates. One for class particiaption. One for Good Work Habits. One for particiapation in the Science Fair and one for Most Enthusiastic Reader. He has read 160 books since the beginning of the school year:thumbsup2 I was a little perturbed though, becasue he asked why I wasn't there. I didn't think parents were invited becasue it just had it marked on the calander as an assembly, but he sdaid lots of parents were there:headache:
Fantastic but sorry you missed it

Wow, I think you've had more snow that me, even
:rotfl2: and your car sounds good :thumbsup2

We've had a load more and everywhere looks very pretty, I'll upload some photos soon :thumbsup2 We walked to our local supermarket, about a mile, and based the next few days meals on what was the lightest to carry :rotfl2: The girls have been gone since 9am, it's now 2pm, sledging (yes that does have a g in it ;) ) with their friends. After the shopping D and I headed out to find them and only found Jess, we then ended up walking for a few more miles and OMG I ache so much now, especially my neck which is strange but I think it's because when you walk on the snow/ice you look down a lot :rotfl2: I'm keeping the girls off school tomorrow even if their school is open. Our nearest roads are just sheets of ice and it's too dangerous!

Jo---6 kids (BA plus 3, Ab plus 1) and Daran and me. Mom keeping Max, Kitties staying home, Bear at vet, Goats and horses on their own.....

How is your Boo? Boots is prancing around like he owns the place. We call him "little Kitty" more than anything.

Nice pics! BA wants to know if school was closed.

I'm half excited and half thinking "boy, we just spent a lot of money." :rotfl: But truly, it's exactly what we wanted, I don't think we could have done better, and it's going to be good! :cool1:
Yay, congrats! :yay:

It's okay! But, in all seriousness, if you guys are considering the move NOW is the time. Or soon, anyway. My area is among the first to start rebounding (simply because it's highly desirable and entirely built-out) and prices are climbing already. Where I was panicking last year when I saw listings in my complex drop to $90K, they're now all listing around $140-150K again.

WOW, that's a lot of snow Jo!

It turns out there's a chasm of difference between temps in the low 40s and temps in the low 30s. I could not believe how cold it was this morning! Everything was covered in frost and my boss had to scrape ice off her windshield. Um, I moved down here to get away form that nonsense! :sad2:

Leo is holding out hope to see some real snow at WDW this weekend. I'll admit, if it's going to be this flipping cold anyway, it may as well snow, lol!

You have a well????

Yes, ma'am. :thumbsup2

Will do!

We're up to 70% tomorrow for snow, now. Hope the new car does as well in the snow as it's supposed to! ;) I actually don't think we're supposed to get accumulation. Apparently it's supposed to be staying well south of us. Gee. South. :rotfl2:

::yes:: I think it's going to be great! CR really did love them, and I actually fell in love with them back two years ago when they first came out, but it wasn't time to trade then. ;)

Yay, congrats! :yay:

Thanks! :goodvibes

Boo is a lazy devil :rotfl2: she likes sleeping :rotfl2: And yes the girls school is shut, tomorrow too and no make up days :thumbsup2

There's a fair bit :thumbsup2 Just wish it wasn't on the roads!!! I hope you get some warmer weather soon!

Well remember I said my next door neighbour had a car crash and wrote off their car this morning well he had to go to the ER with whiplash. Anyway his DD is Ellie's BFF and they've been out playing and sledging all day, well about an hour ago she somehow has an accident and rips her chin off so she had to go to the ER too :sad2: Not a good day for them, Ellie has been texting her and she's fine but needed stitches!!!

Oh and my Dad is meant to be flying to Austria tomorrow for 3 weeks, hope he doesn't get delayed!!!

Yeah -we are still snowless. We did get some flurries about a week ago, but of course, nothing stuck.

I would be worried, too. Glad she was just playing with the phone.

Silly question but why does it need to be wireless?

Because Blu-Rays need to get updates via the internet AND you can upload videos from Netflix and Youtube. Of course you need an internet connection and our modem and router is in the basement, so we can not connect to the internet with a cable. So, we need the wireless one.

Love the snow photos!

Hi Mary! Just heard the same report from Lauralee. I'm hoping it holds off - she's got some driving to do!
Hey V! Ya'll have a good time together. Don't drink too many Lapu's.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Yep, my kids are home now. Doesn't even look like it's going to snow. My sister called and said it is beautiful in SC. Baby girl heard me complaining about school and no snow and she started screaming, "It is going to snow" over and over again. My sis was laughing.

My brother-in-law wins a trip every year from his company. They get some choices. This year is Hawaii or Disney. They wanted Hawaii, but the company only pays for him and her. They said it would cost them $3000 per child to take and they have 3 kids, so they decided not to do that one. My youngest nephew (8) wants to go to Disney so that is where they are going. The older boys don't want to go. They will be there in July. I want to go with them, but we are going in June. She said I could go with them, but the company makes them pay a flat rate that includes all of the company functions. They reserved Typhoon Lagoon and have a few meals. I might ask Mr Diz if I can go and stay on points. He will probably not like it if he can't go.

Where has Goofyluver been? I see her on FB, but never on here.

Somehow I missed it the first time but laughed loads when CE quoted it :rotfl2:

:thumbsup2

You guys made the news here about how the snow is basically shutting the country down:lmao:

:lmao: I saved yours right away! My mom would just keep calling me on my home phone to ask me what my cell number is.

Unfortunately we really can't right now. I just don't want to start over with all of Jimmy's doctors and therapists, etc!

I hate that! I am betting any amount of money that they get all the kids in tomorrow and then close schools early tomorrow. I'd rather just shut for the day

Brrrrr... it's in the low 30s here too with windchills in the teens. It's supposed to get to the teens as a low overnight! :scared1:

So, first we have 65+ days of over 100* heat this summer and now this? Yikes! That's some extreme weather!

On the plus side, being that Kirt runs an AC & Heat company, it's good for business. Kirt got a small bonus last week and I convinced him to let Home Depot build a shed for us. He deserves the break and he worked hard for that bonus! I'm thinking he's super happy he's not outside building in this weather. It should be done in an hour or two. Keeping the dogs from barking has been oh-so-fun all morning.

Anyway, we added onto our trip and bought our plane tix with the rest of the bonus, so it was nice while we had it! :lmao:

I got the coolest Disney app this morning. It's only 99cents and it's called Mouse Memo. It stores all my ADRs, flight info, and ressies. Now, if I could jsut find one that I could put in which park we were going to each day and the hours, I'd be set!

Yayyyy!!!! The shed's done and looks great. I don't know how they did it, I could barely feel my fingers to sign the paperwork! They must be frozen! :guilty:

Anyone have any othen apps they love? I bought the eTix, TSM, and got park hours, Hidden Mickeys, Trivia... Uh... That's it? :surfweb:

Afternoon.

Jo- those pics are beautiful!!!

As some may have seen from facebook I was up stupid late (5am) because KC wanted to play a game on the DS (Echoes of Time, FYI) and then at noon his phone rang so I was up. It's 2pm now and, of course, he is still snoring away.

I however have been up, made some blueberry bread and have the coffee ready to go. But I am going to be a zombie within another hour, and napping, take bets!

Tonight KC's brother is coming by, to have his phone fixed of course. He never comes by to actually visit with us, god forbid. Also Pants is coming over, because he just feels like it. We made jokes that KC invited his "real brother" over because the "fake brother" is coming and we need a balance. The fake one being his blood related one and the real being Andy (Pants). ;) All it means to me is I need to clean up!

So I am going to ever so lovingly shake the crap out of the bed and get KC up to help me.

Thanks, Janet. :goodvibes

I forgot to post that our vacay is now March 10th-22nd with the first 5 nights at POR.

I booked both C and A at Pirate's League (thanks, Jo!) and a pirate cruise! pirate:pirate:

I also booked all of us to do the Family Magic Tour with a DVC discount. :thumbsup2 We have fun a lot of fun planned and I really think this will be a magical trip. :cloud9: We've had a really hard year and need the family time, that's for sure! Competition season is all this month and February, so the trip will come at just the right time. :thumbsup2

Yep, my kids are home now. Doesn't even look like it's going to snow.

See, our school is always really late in calling it off, because the year before the kids started, they called it off in anticipation, nothing happened, and everyone screamed at the superintendent. She is very, very cautious now. :rotfl:

See, it's weird. It's 35 here and sunny - fine for January, if not warm! :lmao:
Congrats on the shed and the bonus! :goodvibes

Good luck and have fun tonight! :thumbsup2

I've been a lump all day, since going to tennis and then the grocery. I finally have moved and have made the kids and D's dinner for ski club (sandwiches) - the kids should already be on the bus, and D should be home soon. He meets them at 5:00 at the ski hill.

I should be a good wife and go load the van with the skis, helmets, and poles. I think I'll do that. BBL!
