Yep, 3 weeks ski repping then home for a few days and off again repping in the States

Because Blu-Rays need to get updates via the internet AND you can upload videos from Netflix and Youtube. Of course you need an internet connection and our modem and router is in the basement, so we can not connect to the internet with a cable. So, we need the wireless one.

It is, put we are having the worst snow in 30 years!!!

On the plus side, being that Kirt runs an AC & Heat company, it's good for business. Kirt got a small bonus last week and I convinced him to let Home Depot build a shed for us. He deserves the break and he worked hard for that bonus! I'm thinking he's super happy he's not outside building in this weather. It should be done in an hour or two. Keeping the dogs from barking has been oh-so-fun all morning.

A long duration of freezing temperatures is expected again tonight. Normal cold spots in the county, especially to the northwest of Interstate 4, could experience temperatures below 28 degrees for several hours. For other locations in the area, expect 8 to 10 hours of 32 degree or lower temperatures. A Freeze Warning is in effect from 11:00 pm Wednesday evening to 9:00 am Thursday morning.

Cold weather will continue for the next seven days with another reinforcing cold front moving through Central Florida on Friday bringing another threat of freezing temperatures for the weekend into early next week. Monitor weather broadcasts for future cold weather watches and warnings.

With the extreme cold weather conditions forecast overnight, local shelters for those in need have declared this a “Cold Night” situation which means they will be prepared to take in those seeking shelter beyond normal admittance hours.

In Orange County the “Coalition for the Homeless” has 2 locations available located at 639 West Central Blvd with space for men, women and children and at 107 Hillcrest for women and children only. Fees are waived for tonight’s “Cold Night” situation.

The Salvation Army also has 2 locations in Orange County available for sheltering. They are located at 624 Lexington which is for men only and at 400 West Colonial for women and children only. The Salvation Army advises that a photo ID requirement would be waived for those seeking overnight shelter from the cold but that no one under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be admitted.

The Orlando Union Rescue Mission – Men’s Division, for men 18 years of age and over will be available for “Cold Night” sheltering. The Rescue Mission is located at 410 West Central Blvd.

The American Red Cross will be opening 2 shelters this evening, one in East Orange County at the Faith United Methodist Church, 1441 N. Dean Road and one in West Orange County at the Carter Tabernacle CME Church, 1 South Cottage Hill Road.

This information is being provided so you are aware of what help is being provided this evening. More information regarding shelter times or extreme cold weather survival tips can be obtained by calling the Orange County Citizens Information Line at 407-836-3111.

Evening all! I hope everyone had a good day. I had a doctor's appointment and didn't get home until 7:00. Basicially played with Jimmy for a bit them it was bath and bed time, which I had to convince him that he had school tomorrow. His teacher made the mistake of saying that we are getting school tonight and that the MIGHT not have school tomorrow

I don't like snow in any way, shape or form but I am thinking I want enough to shut the schools tomorrow so that I can take a day off too This week just really tired me out. Don't know if it is the cold weather, or just the fact that it is the first full week after the holidays

Well finally have time to Dis!!! Internet was down again for a while !!! Today was a catch up day!! did the financials !!! Man I was freaking !!! Missing $300 !!! I tore the place apart Came home with a mammouth stress headache !!! Decided to check the table home. Steph has this habit of tidying up all the mail etc So I checked and lo and behold ..... there it was What a relief !!!!

In the meantime Steph was at the ER !!! Her and Sam were fooling around and Sam accidently kicked her in the knee !! She has a bad sprain( I haven't figured out how a kick can be a sprain???)

Need to get to bed early as tomorrow is my 6 am day!!

Good morning all! It snowed less than an inch, so yes we are all at work and/or school. I hate this kind of snow becasue you get the people who don't normally drive to work driving becasue they don't want to wait on the bus. It wouldn't be bad if they could drive in the 1st place

Busy weekend for us. Cub Scouts tonight. I have a baby shower tomorrow. Jim and Jimm are going to put the Christmas decorations away while I am at that. After the shower I am going to run to WalMart to get the non-perishable food stuffs. Most of the stuff is soooo much cheaper there. On Sunday I will go to the regualr grocery store and do laundry.

Morning! T-minus 2.5 hours to lift off. I'm still coughing up a lung and am tiring more easily than normal, but feeling heaps better than a few days ago at least. I have every winter item we own packed; good grief, but that stuff takes up a lot of luggage space!

Gotta finish up some work stuff and then I'm out. I'm sure you'll hear from us while there, lol!

CE is trying to decide between an X and a Flex. They got the X.
IMO, white sucks. We had a white truck. They are beautiful when they are clean. They are extremely hard to keep that way. BTW you can add others photos to your Photobucket by clicking on the picture and click the tab that says, ”copy to my album”. I am glad you found the vehicle you wanted at a good price.

We got hammered with snow yesterday. The wind kicked up too. It wasn’t pretty. Like I said above, it’s also been very cold. It looks like more of the white stuff is coming off and on for the next few days. JOY! Can you tell I am over it already. BTW, our snow truck is not working either.

Doug was supposed to call about the PET scan results around lunch. He won’t be home until 5:30PM. I guess I’ll know what they found then.

I saw “Up” the other day. I liked it. We watched ‘Land of the Lost’ last night. I fell asleep. I guess that tells you what I thought of it.

I got a text yesterday from my X-SIL. She is engaged. Wow. I can’t help but feel like she and my bro just ran to what they could snag up quickly. Whatever.

I’m broiling up some T-bones tonight. Green beans and salad should be enough with them.
