Team Focker Watch: Lucky Number 13!

Nope, the 21st is my birthday;) It is also Fathers Day weekend!

Dang, I knew it was either the day before or the day after Dr. Belle's, and I went the wrong way. ;)
What did they decide?

The neighbor kid had to leave, too, so they went to class. Got their white belts with yellow stripes! WOOHOO!

The meeting with Jimmy's teacher was awesome. He is reading 3 levels above where he should be for reading and is at a 4 in everything else (4 = Advanced):thumbsup2

WTG, Jimmy!

He said it will take alot worse than that to get him kicked off the bus

Very good.

]Happy First Day of Spring to all My Focker Friends !!

Thanks, Rosie! You, too!

No not a new one, she had a high sleeper with a desk and fold out futon thing underneath. She decided that she no longer wanted to sleep so close to the ceiling (it was very high) so we've adapted it :rolleyes1 Glad the car leak was only little!

I know what you mean, and thank you!

Sounds wonderful Dawn and I know you won't be doing a TR but please tell us a bit about it

::yes::

Emma's power is finally back on, don't think I told you but she really got hit by the storms last week, loads of trees down etc and they had no power for about a week

Poor thing.

I've managed, with the help of some bits of wood :rolleyes1 to make Ellie's old bed into a new one and a seperate desk that was once attached. Hopefully it'll stay up

:rotfl2:

I have a golf match tomorrow against another club, it's foursomes so my partner and I take it in turns hitting the ball. Fingers crossed I play well as I hate letting people down so sometimes try too hard and muck up IYKWIM!

I do, exactly. Though I always play doubles, I sometimes think I'd rather do singles so that I wasn't responsible for anyone else's match. ;) You'll do fine, though, I'm sure.

********************************************************
Not much going on here yet. The boys did choose to go to karate last night, as I said. But, though I could have dropped them at 5:15 and stayed away, then, until 8:30, I had to go back at 5:50 to see their belt ceremony. That was fine - I ran to the library and the bank during the class, watched the ceremony, then went to the grocery and just hung at home until time to get them.

This morning has been nice and lazy. The kids got up earlier, I slept in a bit. It's supposed to hit 71 today (back to the 50's for next week, but no snow, so I'll take it) and so the boys are already playing outside. We have no plans whatsoever, which is kind of nice. No word yet on when baseball will start (and with next week looking like it does, I am not anxious to get going...) so I'll appreciate this nice lazy Saturday. :goodvibes

Jo I think the first trip is in June !!! Then possibly another later in the year!!
Great :thumbsup2

I think I'm losing the will to DIS :rotfl2: I just can't be bothered to read TR's anymore, is that wrong?

Oh and I just spoke with Em and they were all wearing shorts yesterday, their weather is very bizarre!

I think I'm losing the will to DIS :rotfl2: I just can't be bothered to read TR's anymore, is that wrong?

Nope, that's where I was until I got the mod thing. I still have to kind of remind myself to go check in over there - I haven't this weekend yet. :rolleyes1

Oh and I just spoke with Em and they were all wearing shorts yesterday, their weather is very bizarre!

::yes:: Woody is in shorts now (I don't really think it's warm enough, but it's close) and then by tomorrow it's supposed to be back in the 50's. My MIL called earlier, and they had 64 yesterday, but now they had nearly an inch of snow on the ground today. It won't stick for long, but... :confused3

*********************************************************
Still just a totally lazy day. :goodvibes The kids have been mostly outside - Buzz came in for a bit because he just doesn't love the neighbor (Woody does...) and he built Legos. I have the whole family room/kitchen opened up, so he at least still got some fresh air. :thumbsup2 I'll be sad to close it up tonight, because the 10-day isn't so pretty - back to real March weather. :headache: :rotfl2:

I imagine we'll watch a DVD tonight, since we didn't last night. They had pizza at the karate thing, though, so I probably will need to come up with some dinner. Dang. :rotfl:

D & I were supposed to play tennis tomorrow evening with our friends, but she just called to say that the gym had called her. They totally messed up and had scheduled us for tonight and not tomorrow. Since D's not home until about noon tomorrow, well... It's too bad, but it was actually a bit later than any of us wanted tomorrow, for a school night, so I guess it's OK.

The boys really want to see the "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" movie - they've read all the books - so maybe that will be tomorrow afternoon if D's back and it's a crappy day. :confused3 I want to see Alice. ;)

Sounds wonderful Dawn and I know you won't be doing a TR but please tell us a bit about it :thumbsup2

:::yes::

Well done Jimmy :yay: and I'm so glad the Dean said what he said :goodvibes

Thanks Jo:goodvibes

I've managed, with the help of some bits of wood :rolleyes1 to make Ellie's old bed into a new one and a seperate desk that was once attached :rotfl2: Hopefully it'll stay up :rotfl: She is now in her room attempting to sort through stuff, OMG she has some rubbish and still has toys such as bratz and polly pockets which haven't been played with for years so I supplied her with some bin bags :rotfl2:

Polly Pockets are stilll big here, you should try and selll them if they are in good shape:thumbsup2

Good luck!

WTG Buzz and Woody!:woohoo:

I really only read those that I know the people who wrote them, or if CE recommends one.

Hey all. BEAUTIFUL day here, but I lost my frickin cell phone:headache:. WE went to Toys R Us, this particular one is closing down until the fall whenit is going to be a TRU/BRU Superstore. Everything was 30 -60% off. I got some stuff for JImmy's Easter basket (some Bakugan and a DVD). Jimmy had some $$ that my mom had given him for Valentines Day and St. Patricks Day (yes, my mother sends a card for EVERYTHING:sad2:) so he got some Transformer Colletable thing, and I also picked up some sleepers and some othe knick knacks for for my neighbors baby shower. They also had all their wrapping paper on sale so I got a bunch of that too!

After that we went to TGI Fridays for lunch and that' where I think I lost my cell. I called, but now one turned it in. Now I have to call Verizon and shut that phone now and then runto verizon to get a new phone. I will be emailing you all yet again to send me your numbers:mad:

Jim and jimmya re outside riding bikes and scooters, etc. Hope you all have a great afternoon@:thumbsup2

A good samaritan found my cell phone in the parking lot of the King of Prussia mall and called us. He gave it to the hostess at TGI-Friday so Jim went back to pick it up!:woohoo::woohoo::yay::yay::cheer2::cheer2:

That's awesome! :)

************************************************
I feel a little guilty as I brought the kids in when it's so nice and not dark, but I knew they wanted movie night. I didn't want to start the movie at 8:00, so...

We're about half-way through Ice Age, and I'm going to get them to bed on time. :thumbsup2 If they'd sleep in, I wouldn't mind them staying up, but they were up at 6:45 this morning (and of course I have to drag them out of bed at 7:00 during the week) and so I'd rather they get some sleep. It will make tomorrow better. ::yes::

I thought Jimmy was the only one who got up that early on theweekends and days off:hug:

We are watching Dora something or other, then I think we ay go back outside for a little bit before bath and bed.

HOpe everyone is having a good night!:goodvibes

I was too Rosie! Of course because to save a few bucks we dropped the insurance:rolleyes:

Hey girls!

Sorry I've been MIA, it's been one heck of a week. I spend most of the night in the ER on Wednesday with what was originally diagnosed as gallstones, only to find out after many tests my gall bladder, kidneys, pancreas and appendix are all perfectly healthy. :headache: The docs never figured out what my abdominal pain was... my guess was gallbladder too, but I've never had any type of symptoms before in my life.

On top of that, Mads and Evan never received their Premier AP's from Florida, so I've been going back and forth with DL and WDW trying to find out why there aren't on the "list". I've made 3 trips to DL and numerous phone calls to the AP hotline. Anyway, I think I finally got somewhere today. I found out the supervisor handling the list of people omitted from the "master list" is out until Monday. So, come Tuesday I'd better hear something or else it's back to DLR to duke it out.

Yeah, it's been a drama free zone here.

Hope everyone is doing well. :flower3:

 for Jimmy and his great marks!

Ugh! Hope the symptoms don't recur and if they do, the doctors can figure it out:hug:

Good Morning all. Another beautiful day here.:thumbsup2 Unfortunately I can't really enjoy it, which is a shame becasue tomorrow it is going to be 50 and raining:sad2: I have laundry going :laundy: and I am starting the Spring Cleaning. We decided we are going to do Easter dinner at our house, so I have to get all the spring cleaning done before that. I am going to do as much as I can today and then finish it up next weekend.

Jim is out doing the grocery shopping and picking up the ham. I will do the rest of the shopping the Thursday or Friday before Easter.

Jimmy has declared PJ day, but I may make him get dressed and go play outside for a while, just to tire him. Jim may take him to playground.

Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday:grouphug:

It's supposed to maybe rain here this afternoon, but it's a lot cooler. It's too bad - I was enjoying the loveliness.

*****************************************************
Not much happening here. The boys have done their homework and are now outside, even though it's not warm, since it's not yet raining. D should be home any time - they were leaving early this morning.

I have the dishwasher going and I need to do some laundry, but that's about it. Have a great day!

Yikes, I'm glad they've found you're healthy but hope they find out what is causing the pain. Not sure if you remember but a few years ago I was admitted with stomach pains and they couldn't figure it out, a few days later I went to my GP and he gave me some tablets for cramping and it went  Good luck with the passes too :rotfl2:

and I am starting the Spring Cleaning.
Spring cleaning :confused3 what's that??? :rotfl2:

I won my golf :yay: It was an incredibly tight match, literally no more than 1 hole in it and we won on the last :faint: (I need a phew smilie :rotfl2: ) But my foot is really killing me, don't think I told you but for the last few weeks I've had major pain in the joint of my right big toe, it won't bend as much as the left one but normally as I walk the pain subsides. Well today it hurt the whole way round and I limped!!! I think I may need to see the Dr tomorrow :sad2:

I'm so glad you won, but I'm sorry about the toe!

I'm so glad you won, but I'm sorry about the toe!
Thanks  The toe thing is so weird, I though to start with that I was beginning to get a bunion but I don't wear silly shoes and there are none in my family so it shouldn't be that, plus I'm not really sure what bunion symptoms are :rotfl2:

Jimmy is still in his jammies:sad2:

I won my golf :yay:

Congrats:cheer2: and I hope they figure out what is wrong with your foot:hug:

The kitchen is done:cheer2:. The laundry would have been done, but something fell into the stationary tub and blocked it up which caused it to overflow:mad: Jim and I got that all cleaned up.

As I said above Jimmy is still in his jammies:sad2: Such a beautiful day and he doesn't want to go outside:confused3

I am going to go jump in the shower and then see if I can talk him to going out for a little bit after dinner. Laying around doing nothing all day will just make bedtime that much harder:eek:

Me, neither. Good luck!

The kitchen is done:cheer2:. The laundry would have been done, but something fell into the stationary tub and blocked it up which caused it to overflow:mad: Jim and I got that all cleaned up.

Yuck. Sorry! I had a different laundry issue. Buzz sat on some pizza in his karate pants Friday night. I washed them once and it was mostly gone. I washed them again with the rest of their laundry, and even though I use those Color Catcher thing all the time, something bled onto them. So now I've got them in again with another set of whites... Sigh.

As I said above Jimmy is still in his jammies:sad2: Such a beautiful day and he doesn't want to go outside:confused3

Buzz didn't much want to go out again this afternoon, but he finally did. Then my other neighbor called to see if she could take them to the library for her kid's DI project, and neither of them would go.:rotfl2: I guess it's good, as it's been partly sunny and not a bad day after all... But, I felt a little bad about not helping. :guilty:
