Thanks CE! I printed the tips off for her. She said the coach is trying to get them used to overhead serves but hers seems to go different ways. She's enjoying it a lot though---and she loves the skirt---AND she got her picture in the paper! Oh, and did I tell you her racket is pink??

I blasted two other bosses for gross inefficiency and at least one boss nailed her staff but good for it the other idiot is our Tech guy !!!!He had a new phone company hooked up and neglected to tell me that I needed a code to make long distance calls !!!When he returns my call he will have a new one tooo

He said it went really well. The friend who recommended him for the job is actually good friends with the 2 people who interviewed him so hopefully they will be calling him with an offer ASAP. Turns out its about 15K more than he makes now, which is like being millionaires to us.

Still cleaning BUT I am almost done. I got all the junk drawer stuff down to a small bag for KC to go through, cleaned the whole desk and vacuumed. Just have to wipe down the bathroom and straighten the kitchen and do dishes. And maybe at some point get in the shower.

Since KC did so well on the interview I went out and got him a video game from the Game Stop around the corner. He has no idea. He will be a happy boy when he gets home. His Xbox is busted at the moment too, so he will be happy to have a new PS3 game to play(God of War 3).

I am hoping to get my wares posted on ebay tonight and get a TR update in. here's hopin! I am watching this past season of CSI while I have been doing all this so it's helping to pass the time.

I havent read through in a few days, but I wanted to get on and say

It must be a magical day because i passed Physics with a C+ and Organic chemistry with a C! woo hoo!

I absolutely hate both of these courses, and this now means I am done with almost all of my lower division classes! (still have one communication class ) But I'm definitely done with the classes that seem to be the bane of my existence! Did I mention

Now just 2 more finals on saturday. At least these involve fluffy critters.

Good morning. Jim and Jimmy are off to work/school. I am grabbing something to eat and then I am going to start the laundry, walk the dog, empty the dishwasher, straighten the clutter, put books away in Jimmy's room and if I have time before the meeting at school power wash the back patio.

The meeting at school is at 3:10, then we will pick Jimmy up, head to grab something to eat (probably Friendly's) and then head to Cub Scouts.

Tomorrow it is going to be 73 degrees and sunny I have to take Jimmy to pick out his new glasses but other than that we have no plans, so I am not sure what we are going to do. I hate to stay in since it is going to be so nice.

Sunday we have a block meeting to talk about our block party which is going to be on June 19th.

I love that Mitch is home, but it keeps me from doing really important things like being online. We're picking Reid up early from school to go to the Braves game and tomorrow going to Ft Myers for the memorial. Although I still haven't spoken to my godmother, so I don't know what she's doing. We're not going to spend the night because Sunday is the Braves season ticket holder party. It's good to see Chipper Jones up close and personal.
I enjoyed tea with Mel and Dawn but missed seeing Jen V. Mitch and I were busy being responsible getting things ready for him to leave, so we couldn't play very much.

I may be going down the shore for the day with my mom to see my aunt. She has no kids, was an only child, has money and I'm her only godchild. I visit as often as I can. I even let my hair grow longer because she told me too. I don't want to be disinherited. She has a house down the shore. Anyway I am hoping to get my mom to at least stop at the beach for a few minutes. I need the sun and sand to wash away this winters bad memories.

You have a block party? I'm jealous. My neighbors don't even talk to each other. They fight over parking spaces like little kids. We had one block party in the 27 years I have lived at my house and that was 20 years ago.

Hi all. I am loving this weather after our horrible winter. I got a 100 on my exam this week so I am real happy about that.

Saw the Dr. yesterday and boy is she doing an about face. Mikey has no fluid in his ears and there is no indication that he ever did. His speech delay is definitely hearing related and now we have to see the ENT specialist. As far as the dr. is concerned he has failed TWO hearing tests in one year. He has a significant hearing problem. It is nice to have an answer in that respect but now we need to see what the specialist says.

If I don't go down the shore tomorrow I am going to go shopping for some new clothes for my April/May Disney trip. I need new shorts and sneakers. Then I will hit as many Rita water ice stands as I can for my free water ice. Last year I got 6, I may try and beat that this year.

Last year was the first one we have had since we moved in here which will be 7 years on the 31st. It was so much fun and the kids had a ball. They loved being able to ride their biks and stuff in the street. Every house chipped in $35 dollars to pay for the DJ and we also had moon bounces and stuff set up in the middle of the street Everybody does their own food, etc, but we all kind of congregate in the middle of the block. We met more of our neighbors there than we had all the time we were living there!

I wound up talking to my friend Kris for over an hour on the phone (she is the one who was my chauffer when I was sick). He son is severe special needs and she just needs to vent every once in a while.

Then I called Jimmy's school to talk to the Dean of Students. I didn't tell you guys this one. Yesterday Jimmy got in trouble on the bus. He had a toy (that he shouldn't have taken to school) and dropped it on the bus. Being 6, he got up to pick it up and the bus driver screamed at him and yelled telling him that she is going to have him kicked off the bus. Ok, I know what he did was wrong and that would have been the end of it for us. He had the consequences when he got home, etc. However, she then berated and yelled at the kid (kid being the 22 year old teacher at the after school program) telling him that jimmy isn't going to be allowed to the ride the bus anymore, and started curing in front of the kids. Um, no you didn't just do that. Fisrt of all that information should have gone to the school and NOT the after school program and second you don't curse in front of my kids. Anyway, I am waiting for the Dean of Students to call back!

I have gotten 3 loads of luandry done, so that is good, but at this point I am just going to finish up laundry I can and hang out with Tink and maybe read a book!

Well Ellie's bed is dismantled And OMG what a load of absolute rubbish she has under her desk/bed bit Dave went mad!!!! Her job this weekend is to do a huge clear out and clean up!

Dang Janet---that bus driver must be nuts! The busses here have some REAL problems with the older ones cursing, taking things, back talking the driver. BA doesn't ride it anymore--she says it's too stressful (plus a 1 hour drive). I like the bus driver though--he has a farm near ours and raises donkeys. He always compliments me about how nice the girls are...BA says that's because the other kids are just plain disrespectful to him.

I would definitely have my momma gloves on for your case!

Wow, what a gorgeous day! It's sunny and about 70. Lovely.

Sadly, I've been most of the day inside. Did the "running" tennis class, came home and showered, then took the car for it's first oil change that we've done. We had noticed a weird nearly burning smell a time or two - not all the time, and it would go away fast - but I took it to a dealer so that we could ask. Turns out there's a VERY slow leak of transmission fluid, so it goes back in Monday to get that fixed (under warranty, thankfully) - couldn't do it today with the time I had left before the bus. Then I ran across the street (handy) to Target, and now here I am.

The boys were having trouble deciding if they wanted to go to karate class and just stay through the parents' night out, or if they just wanted to go later to the "fun night" and not do class first. I don't really care. There's supposedly a half hour between the end of the class and the beginning of the event, but the sensei said they could just stay... Either way, they get fed there, and I think my "night out" will involve the grocery store. Woohoo.

Seems like now we are going to Lake George to sight see and go to an ELVIS Celebration thingie !!!As neither of us are particularly Elvis Fans this should be interesting !! But there are lots of other things to do as well !!! She says we are getting lots of PIX which all I am allowed to post ( HIPPA) will be loaded by PHIL!!!

We both head home on Monday, but won't be aroun dmuch until Wednesday-ish. Tuesday is my bday and I have to get the kids to school, then go to San Antonio to get the puppies from grandma. SD is leaving on Wednesday morning for several days, so I'm sure Mel wil be busy getting him situated.

So, we're having a wonderful trip. We're so happy with our decision to buy at BLT. It's so amazing I don't think we'll ever want to stay anywhere else! We've had fun with Mel's family, had tea with Angela, and met Jen V for dirnks at the Poly. Mel's at Epcot with Yani and Z right now. We plan on seeing them tomorrow night when we go up to the Top of the World Lounge for Wishes with them.

It's been really warm the last few days, so we're spending the mornings at the park (OMGee! It's soooo crowded! ) and the afternoons at the pool or relaxing. Tonight we watched a movie together in the room.

Anyway... I'm off to relax so we can make rope drop in the morning. Good night, Fockers.

The meeting with Jimmy's teacher was awesome. He is reading 3 levels above where he should be for reading and is at a 4 in everything else (4 = Advanced)

Got to talk the Dean of Students while we were the about the bus thing. He had no idea what we were talking about. We explained to him that we understood what Jimmy did was wrong for safety reasons, etc and that he had consquences when he got home (no tv, computer) but we wanted to make sure he wasn't being kicked off the bus becasue we have no other option for getting him to and from school. He said it will take alot worse than that to get him kicked off the bus

After that we picked Jimmy up and he picked McD's for dinner. Then we headed to Cub Scouts. Next week is the pack meeting so they worked on stuff for that while I collected money and signed people up for the over night at the zoo. Becasue Jimmy did so well with his popcorn sales he was able to pay for his own trip and still has money left over that will carry into next year!

Still not sure what we are going to do tomorrow, but I told jim its got to be something outside becasue it is going to be too nice out.

No not a new one, she had a high sleeper with a desk and fold out futon thing underneath. She decided that she no longer wanted to sleep so close to the ceiling (it was very high) so we've adapted it Glad the car leak was only little!

Emma's power is finally back on, don't think I told you but she really got hit by the storms last week, loads of trees down etc and they had no power for about a week

I've managed, with the help of some bits of wood to make Ellie's old bed into a new one and a seperate desk that was once attached Hopefully it'll stay up She is now in her room attempting to sort through stuff, OMG she has some rubbish and still has toys such as bratz and polly pockets which haven't been played with for years so I supplied her with some bin bags

I have a golf match tomorrow against another club, it's foursomes so my partner and I take it in turns hitting the ball. Fingers crossed I play well as I hate letting people down so sometimes try too hard and muck up IYKWIM!
