Team Focker Watch: Lucky Number 13!

The kitchen is done:cheer2:. The laundry would have been done, but something fell into the stationary tub and blocked it up which caused it to overflow:mad: Jim and I got that all cleaned up.
Yikes but well done!

Buzz sat on some pizza in his karate pants Friday night. I washed them once and it was mostly gone. I washed them again with the rest of their laundry, and even though I use those Color Catcher thing all the time, something bled onto them. So now I've got them in again with another set of whites... Sigh.
Whoops why do they always spill tomato based stuff on whites :sad2:

I was rereading my 2008 pre TR and found this from when I was applying to the golf club, guess who wrote it :rotfl2:

To: Esteemed members of the Uppity Up Golf Club
From: Lime lovin' focker watcher club

We, the members of the aforementioned club, wood like support our close and deerest friend, Jo [insert last name].
We feel she wood be an asset to your club on account of the followin' reazons:

1. Favorite color-lime green. She promises to wear that color and only that color at all official club meetins.

2. Favorite animal: crocodile.
We hear tell she is supportin' an enviromental crusade to add crocs to the Florida area and is actively researchin' their habitat and such.

3. Favorite house accessory:

That alone proves her sense of style--she would welcome the other ladies to come to her house for tea at any time. She even has tea cozies for your use and she can brew Southern iced tea for all y'all Southern Englanders.

4. Golf knowledge:
Jo has been often quoted on the internet:
"Although Jo is handicapped, she still manages to do a 12 over on a one off"

She can even borrow a port-a-potty cart to haul around [insert s'lates red neck golf pics]

5. Financial need:
Jo [insert last name] dreams of bringin' her youngins' to America to see the beloved Disney world (she even goes to callin' herself DisneyJo to try to be part of the dream)....but alas, all she can afford is a trip to the mountains to a static caravan. [insert pics of caravan]

Jo is tryin' hard to git some money and once said "any $ made from renting out trailers over there I want commision from OK "

Why here's a song I wrote about poor Jo:

"oh, let me tell y' all a story bout a girl named Jo,
a poor Englander, with 2 kids in tow,
she goes up to them mountains in her static caravan,
where it's too dang cold to even get a tan!"

and another:

h, ho ho ho ho....
Everybody was Carvan riding: Ya
DisneyJo was fast as lightning.
It was a one off frightning
But us Americans she's exciting

One two, do the holiday
Three four, static all the way

I say, one two, bring your hot tea
Three four, and a ***-ey.....

Why, poor Jo had to borrow that there BMW from the PGA (the Poor Golfers Association) jist to get here today.

In closin, we would jist like to say..
"Thanks for yer support" and Vote for Jo, Caravan Queen

Awww I just found this post by Janet, looks as though you didn't know us yet!!!

Enjoying this TR so far. You guys are all hilarious Can't wait to hear more

Hello from the Focker Vampire!

Update:

ROSIE got a new laptop coming to her by the end of the month. She has had a cold.
I bet you can’t wait to get those dole whip fingers on that lap top!!!!! I hope you are feeling better.

JANET says Jim is looking for work at another school. Jimmy is a reading WIZ!!! She lost then found her cell phone.
Good luck to Jim. Congrats to Jimmy!!!! You are so lucky that someone nice found that phone!

JO ate a whole bag of Cadbury eggs. Ells has been hoarding a lot of stuff under her bed. She did good in golf but one of her toes is bothering her.
Easter candy is wonderful. How long did it take for Ellie to get all her stuff cleaned up? Congrats on the golf. I hope there isn’t anything major happening with your toe.

KAT has been in hyper-cleaning mode. Plus she got to reorganize all their stuff once the bug guy was gone. KC had his interview on the 18th.
Hey, at least you’ve got the spring cleaning done!!!! I need to get on that. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for KC!

TE is snubbing us for game time of FB.
I have a co-worker that fills in on OT who is into Farmville. She was explaining it to me the other day. Too funny! She is addicted too!

CEL BEL has passed 2 classes and had 2 finals on Saturday.
Congratulations. I hope the last 2 went well!

ANGELA and Mitch took Reid to a Braves game the other day. She did get to visit with Mel and Dawn.
Sounds like you had a great time!!

TAZ passed her exam with 100%.

Congratulations!

CE took the car in for an oil change and found out they have a small leak of transmission fluid.
You must have a good sniffer. I don’t know that I would have acknowledged any smell like that unless it was really bad. I hope it doesn’t cost you too much.

DAWN checked in. They had a wonderful time. They will be heading back on Monday.
We missed you.

T was in the ER due to abdominal pain. They never found anything. Plus the kids didn’t get their Premier cards. She’s been trying to get that figured out.
That’s weird about the pain. I’m glad they didn’t find anything major but it does make you wonder. Good luck with getting the passes figured out.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

My cough/cold is still hanging on. Being at work for 12hrs a night for 3 nights probably didn't help the situation. I should have taken some time off. Plus with the cough from my dry throat, I couln't sleep very well. I didn't do much on Saturday so that I could just rest.

I told my brother that I would get a friend to help me clean his house on Sunday morning. This is the house he and the ex lived in. It has been on the market for 6 months now. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't what I call show ready. I woke up with crud in my eyes. Evidently I have the cold in my eyes now. Luckily I had some RX salve that was left over from a former problem. It seems to be working but they are still a bit irritated and red.

I went ahead and met my friend and we cleaned the crap out of that house. It looked so much better. Plus we added some small decor with candles and towels. I told my brother he owed us dinner. I hope it sells. He has no clue just how great his sister is!!!;)

I got nothin' for Monday. Looks like it will rain. I guess I'll work on the finances and the man cave. I'll pop back in here too!!

:grouphug:

I've been up since 4.00 getting Mitch ready to leave for Wisconsin. Last week whilst birthday shopping, I saw a Coach purse that I really need :rolleyes1, so I think I'll go get it later, when the store opens in 4 hours. ;) I also want a netbook. Nothing like retail therapy when hubs is gone. :rotfl2:

My kids are on the bus. I need a shower before we go take the car in. I'm not sure how my day is going to turn out. D's here, so it's fine, but if the car is going to take 2 hours, we start to run into me getting to the gym for tennis. I don't know what D wants to do this morning, so whether he can run me back and forth is going to be interesting. I know he wasn't going to the office, so that will help. :confused3

I begin to wonder if I should just stay with the car - Target is across the street, so I wouldn't have to just sit for 2 hours - so that he can do what he needs to do and not worry about me. We'll have to discuss when he comes in. I also need to go get groceries, pretty desperately, but I'm not sure where that's getting squeezed in. :headache:

Yuck. Sorry! I had a different laundry issue. Buzz sat on some pizza in his karate pants Friday night. I washed them once and it was mostly gone. I washed them again with the rest of their laundry, and even though I use those Color Catcher thing all the time, something bled onto them. So now I've got them in again with another set of whites... Oh no, did they come out. I love the Color Catchers!:thumbsup2

My cough/cold is still hanging on.

Hope you kick it soon:goodvibes

I got nothing...raining, work, boys at school. That's it. Hope you all have a wonderful day:goodvibes:hug:

Oh no, did they come out. I love the Color Catchers!:thumbsup2

I do, too, so I tend to throw all the boys' laundry in at once. It didn't fully come out - I may need hard bleach next. Although, frankly, the kid has shot up a lot again recently and he needs longer pants anyway. ;)

My toe is still killing but the Dr's phone was constantly engaged so I didn't get an appointment so I hobbled around today too. Thing is I have a golf match tomorrow and Wednesday so......... :rotfl2: We bought a new outdoor dining set today, the old one was falling to bits, literally I sat on it last week and it broke, no comments please :rotfl2: It's black and glass and best of all it was relatively cheap :rotfl2:

Thanks, you too! I forget, are you off for something today?

Oh yes, golf is so much more important than getting your foot looked at:rolleyes::lmao:

Pictures of the enw furniture?

Just a quick check in. Hope everyone is having a lovely day:grouphug:

What did you do????

D ended up deciding he didn't feel good at all, so we just came back here. Once they called that the car was done, he drove me to get it, then we both went to the gym. I stayed longer than he did, then went to the store.

Gotcha.
********************************************************
Yeah, so... They didn't call until 11:15 or so, then by the time we got to the dealership, it still wasn't quite done. I was late to my drills, but oh well. Then, we had more court time to practice up for tomorrow's official match, but everyone had been there for a long time, so we wound up not playing for very long after. I went to the grocery store, and that's been my day.

D's going to take the boys to karate, and I bought stuff for 3 different, more unusual to us dinners (not my same old, same olds), so I have to pick one.

Are you sure???? :rotfl2:

It's in the garage at the moment!!!!

I am so fed up with tween girls, I've just read some private FB messages between Ellie and a supposed friend and they're both arguing over who is the best friend with another girl (our next door neighbour) :headache: Ellie expected sympathy but from what I read she was as nasty as the other girl so I've banned her from PMing her any more, girls......................

It's been days again that I even bothered to go online, the phone makes me lazy since i can check all emails and facebook from it.

Hi!

Been a nice relaxing weekend in NY. Beautiful weather. KC worked but sat after his shift we walked around the neighborhood, got some ice cream and got a platter of takeout for a new BBQ place down the block. It was a nice evening. We have been watching Breaking Bad all weekend too.

Yesterday we just chilled out at home, made a quick run to staples for a clip desk lamp since I had a coupon. I made some spinach/zucchini/white bean/ bacon lasagna, it came out really good. I also made a coconut cake in the crock, so that was dessert.

Been reading "Let The Right One In". I am dying to finish it and see what they did with the movie, very interesting book.

We leave on Thursday early morning (bus leaves at 845am) for Boston until Sunday late night. I am so excited just to get away!

KC's interview went great and his job is trying to match their offer, but it's doubtful, so hopefully they call him soon with some good news.

I asked the other day but dunno if anyone missed it: I have a square Hannah Montana Lamp and a Christmas stocking I want to give to someone who has kids who like her.....any takers???

Today is my catch up day with the internet and to start packing for our trip. Hope you all had a great weekend!!

What are you cooking????

They voted for "garlicky salmon and tomatoes" under the broiler. :thumbsup2 I also bought stuff for the chile relleno enchiladas I made for our dinner party in Oct. and the ski trip in Feb., and some stuff for a lo mein style dish. :thumbsup2

Sounds good.

This is the purse I got. You can see that because it's so cute, of course I needed it. :rolleyes1

My sister is supposed to close on their house tomorrow morning at 9.00 and the current owner sold them she'd be out tomorrow by 6pm. My BIL is so mad at all the owners craziness, he's threatening to call the whole thing off if she's not out. She's known for a month the day she's moving, but she closes on her new house tomorrow as well and doesn't have anywhere else to go. A hotel? :confused3

I had a friend who tried to do that. I was baffled. Once you close, it's the new person's house, period. My friend had even bought/sold another house before, so why she thought she could get away with it, I don't know. :confused3

I couldn't see your purse.

I paid less than Ebay at the outlet, so how does that seller make money? For the small amount of profit and time it takes to mail, it doesn't seem profitable. I guess she hopes for a bidding war.

I'm trying to watch the Lady Vols basketball game, but ESPN keeps switching to other games. I don't care that they are up by 15. Those are the best games to watch. Hopefully U Conn will get beat soon. Really don't like them.:rolleyes1
