Team Focker Watch: Lucky Number 13!

I periodically have to do interviews at work !! I've seen it all !! From hygienne to out and out obvious lies to having no clue if they were male or female and no the name didn't help!!!:rotfl2:

Hey, girls,

I read through, but I'm way tired and a little rushed, so no quoting.

Hi, Mel! Sorry about NB's coworker. SB will be good (and so will you) but I'm sure it is hard. :hug:

T, you're cracking me up! :lmao:

**********************************************************
Stayed up WAY too late last night reading one of my amazon program books, then still couldn't go to sleep. 4 hours later, the alarm went off and I had no interest. Woody was good to go today, though. I nearly didn't go to tennis because it was so nice to have the house to myself, but then the pro texted me wanting D to come (he's still gone) so I felt bad asking for a sub for myself.

It was fun, but then I headed right out to pick up MIL. We went to Home Depot to get D's present from my mom (she sent a check so that I could pick it up - a new weed whacker! ;)) and then had lunch and came home. The boys have rolled off the bus, and they're outside with MIL. I hate to be a witch, but I need them in pretty soon to do some homework. MIL wants to eat out, and Woody still has a couple of pages from yesterday to get done. I want them done for tomorrow because we're off next week for April break.

I feel nearly drunk with tiredness, if YKWIM. :rotfl: It could be a long evening. Wish me luck!

Hope you're all having a better day. :grouphug:

Kat - were you at McSorley's by any chance, I have fond memories of that place;)

YES!!!!

Mel- so soory about NB's co-worker.

T- I will def remember that about the job, thanks. And yea why don't people get that soap is not hard to use?!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm feeling lazy and mellow today. I really dont want to do much of anything. I really am just dying my hair and pulling out some clothes from the bottom of the closet boxes, but i wanna just plop and watch TV. LOL.
Turns out KC's Uncle was/is being over medicated at his nursing home so it wasn't nearly as bad as they thought, once the meds wore off him. So he left work for pretty much nothing.
Tomorrow is KCs birthday dinner/drinks with a bunch of friends. Before that we are going to do a little shopping for some new clothes for him for work. I am also bringing my Metal Gear Cake to finally cut with all our friends.
Anyways procrastinating isn't getting any of the carp done.
On the better news front....I got a call from a place I applied to yesterday! I put the application in last night and got the call this morning. It's a comic book shop in the east village in NYC. It seems like it would be a fun job. They have a location in Brooklyn too.
And????? Fingers crossed :goodvibes
Woody seems much better today, but since he went to bed with a fever, I decided to keep him home one more day. I'll stretch the 24 hour rule, but not even 12 seemed like a bit too much stretching, you know? :rotfl:
Glad he's getting better!
Mitch still doesn't have orders for this weekend, but we have to go, so we're going to drive. It's 7 hours which isn't too bad, but at least I can take loads more carp. ;)
Sorry but where???
Well I passed my med pour and am good for another year!! What is hard about it is you HAVE to do 3 reads on each med which doubles the time it takes !! But I did get complimented on how I got one of the consumers to totally do his own glucose read (other than reading the #) He always does it for me but apparently not for many others !!
:thumbsup2
Went to the dr today and I have a sinus infection and bronchitis.
Oh no and how is the business going?
I'm back to work for 4 nights starting tomorrow if my back isn't hurting me too bad.
You are a busy girl, take care :goodvibes
NotBob's co-worker (and sometimes mentor) died of a massive coronary this morning, so that's not good. He's EXTREMELY stressed and upset about this as the guy was pretty much the only other person in their department and now it all falls squarely on NB. Sadly, the guy was SO young, 52!
Oh dear that's terrible! Glad your op went well :hug:
Yes... it's only as long as it takes to complete the Census work. I'm contracted until right before we leave for WDW, around mid-late June. Perfect timing, IMO. ;)
Sounds great, use ome of your wages to buy a peg :rotfl2:
I leave in 8 days. :woohoo:
Doing the single digit dance.
yay :woohoo:
first I took Kyle for fasting bloodwork to Quest and when I made the appointment I said PEDIATRIC!!
She sounds horrid :eek:
Turns out KC's Uncle was/is being over medicated at his nursing home so it wasn't nearly as bad as they thought, once the meds wore off him. So he left work for pretty much nothing.
Well that's good :thumbsup2
Grocery store, followed by golf, then had a man measure for carpets then I went to the store and paid for them ummm then spent a few hours entering comps and finally I'm here :rotfl2: Oh and dessert tonight was Ellie's lemon cake that she made at school it was yummy although she did cover my kitchen in icing/confectioners sugar making buttercream to add to it :rotfl2:
Hey all. ANother busy day. Sorry I didn't quote. Jimmy seems fine today **fingers crossed** They told us there is a 50% chance he could have another one. All we can do is wait and watch. He was so upset about missing 2 days of school that he made me call his teacher and we had to go pick up his work :confused3 :lmao:
He is going back to school tomorrow and he is so excited. WE have a busy weekend this weekend. Last den meeting for scouts tomorrow. Then on Saturday we have a communion party and the Cub Scout Blue and Gold Banquet. Doctors said we should just go about our everyday lives. Almost punched them in the face when they say that, but what else can we do at this point?
Hope you are all having a great day. :wave: to everyone. :hug:to those wo need them and my heartfelt thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts!:goodvibes
Not much going on here. I worked in the office today... all I have to say is UGH! I don't like people... KWIM? I guess I'm just not a people person.
:lmao: I needed that laugh!
And????? Fingers crossed :goodvibes
Oh no and how is the business going?
Thanks for asking.
It was very slow for January and Feb, but I started getting a lot of business in March. I did a couple of craft fairs and am getting business from that. I have several neighbors who have brought me lots of stuff and some teachers. A lady I met at one of the craft fairs has brought me a good bit of work and she also asked me if I would do a home party. I wasn't planning on doing home parties, but I'm a long way off from paying off my machine, so I told her I would do it.
I'm considering renting some space in a local store, but not sure. I have 2 stores that will rent space to me and I can choose when I'm there.
Hey all. It's been a heckl of morning. We had Jimmy at the ER at 4:00am. He had a siezure.
:hug::hug::hug: sorry I'm late on this...
V has a new trip report, just so y'all know. ;)
:rolleyes:
Oh Z! I didn't realize you didn't know a "studio" was technically half living room/half bedroom. You probably would have been better off non-villa, as those have 2 beds. Oh and they're queen sized, not doubles. Ahem. ;) Glad you had a great weekend, though. You're in Disney... no sleeping! :rotfl:
I saw pics of it, I was expecting it. I'm just saying it would be nice. Yeah I can't really afford the regualr rooms at AKL, hence going the cheaper way and renting DVC points :thumbsup2
Seriously though, I had to help people complete their new employee forms and seriously the worse things I encountered were 1. Stink *** breath - DUDES, brush your freakin' grill! and 2. Stink *** bodies! DUDES, take a bath! Covering your stink *** body with perfume just makes you smell like flowery farts. Sorry, that's my PSA for the day. :lmao:
Oh and change your dang clothes! Don't come in lookin' like you rolled outta bed. :teeth: That is all!
Evening All! :hippie:
Dude I go away for awhile and you have a job. Congrats! :)
Totally agree w/ all the above as we get this often at the hospital added to the coughing without covering your mouth and many other stuff. Fun times. :rolleyes:
Mel: wow that's scary about NB's co-worker. Poor NB :(
:thumbsup2 Isn't Kidani gorgeous? I took a little tour back in Feb. and can't wait to stay there!
Other than my new TR CE mentioned, there's not a lot going on here. Still no definitive news on my job, but things are much less stressful here, so that's good! Leo's doing well; he's back in karate and has been visiting the barn some Saturdays. Gramma's working some nights again, which is good for all of us. ;)
Wishing everyone good health and happy days! :grouphug:
Jimmy is really suffering with the allergies too :sad2:
Glad everything is ok with David.
What breadmaker did you wind up getting?
What breadmaker did you wind up getting?
A Panasonic, they got the best reviews. The loaf I made is all gone already so I need to make some more :rotfl2:
Another beautiful day here, I've tidied the garage a little, done a bit of gardening (well if chucking some fertilizer around counts as work :rotfl2:) and nagged the girls to do homework. A typical Saturday :rotfl: oh and that was after the normal singing/golf taxi service!
V: it was very pretty, but I will agree with everyone that it is far from the main lodge. They should make some kind of tram thingy. The bus service in the morning was kinda crappy. We waited quite a bit for a bus to AK, which was weird, but it may have been a fluke :confused3
It's so nice staying at the new places though. :goodvibes
Z,
What is that Ostrich doing to the truck?
It was stealing food from the truck lol :laughing:
Slate congrats on the cruise! What places is it going?
Great photos and wow there were a lot of animals in your photo!
It was feeding time so they all came over ;)
Hope your allergies go away soon
Not much w/ me today.
Yesterday went to the beach with my friend Isis :beach: Got a slight sunburn on my back, but otherwise it was very nice and relaxing. Already planning another beach day for next weekend :)
Still in search of where to stay in Oct for food and wine. Apparently most of the places are booked from some reports I've gotten from some people. So it'll either be AKV again or BLT :cloud9: We'll see.
Today forced to help my mom around the house :sad2: I really hate yardwork.
Anyway...TTYL!
Nice, not beach weather here. High 60's.
I really hate yardwork.
Me too, that's why I make Jim and jimmy do it;)
++++++++++++++++
Busy day here. Had a Communion Party at 1:00 and then the Blue and Gold banquet at 3:00. Have been home about 1/2 hour. Jimmy is now a Wolf Scout and quite proud of himself!:thumbsup2
Tomorrow will be the normal laundry, cleaning, grocery shopping and then back to work/school on Monday!
Hope you are all having a good weekend!:goodvibes
