My poor kids. Woody was good last night, but woke up this morning with the highest fever he's had since it all started Saturday night, and he now has a stomach ache. Buzz (I can't believe I forgot this) got hit in the eye with a baseball at practice last night. By a coach. He's got a bit of swelling and bruising today - nothing big, but still... Sigh.

Good morning It's a beautiful day and as usual I am at work. It was a weird morning. We all got up fine, no problem. Jimmy and I leave as we are walking into the before care center, Jim calls...Jimmy's lunch is on the dining room table. He left right then so that he could drop it off and both of us could still get to work. Like I said not bad, just weird.

Got a note home from school yesterday that it will be dress down day is the Kids (the parents) make a donation to the March of Dimes, which of course we will do. Jimmy wanted to wear his Class A Cub Scout Uniform. I talked him into the t-shirt

Not much else happeing. Haven't been getting much computer time at home becasue Jimmy has been playing a JumpStart game so....

I may have my car back today I sure am hoping !!Went into work for about 5 hours last night , got a lot of little things done and started my End of the month stuff !!Had to get up and drive Judy to work as I need a vehicle I have to go to a meeting at noon The girls will watch or kill Kyle

I am making Chicken Pot Pie for supper , yesterday was meatloaf !! That is one thing I can do is cook some decent suppers this week!!I am also cleaning the kitchen cupboards with Kyles help this week !! Just doing little stuff that there is never time for when I am working !!

Morning all.

I have the late shift with the kids today but it's now only about 2 hours. I don't know if I mentioned that my SIL got a promotion and raise at work. He is now a full-fledged supervisor and is salaried. That means no more OT so he is home early now. It's good for them all because he can spend some time with the kids.

I was up and showered, cleaned the bathroom and kitchen and vacuumed the whole house, took out the trash and recycle stuff by 9 AM. It made me realize why I like babysitting. I would be bored without the little ones to keep me busy.

It's my DIL's birthday so I will have to get her something today. I tried buying a card yesterday but it's really tough. She is not always my favorite kid in law. There is a lot of history but suffice it to say she has done some very mean things to me over the years. My youngest wouldn't even go to my son's wedding reception because of his wife. I try but I just can't get a card that says how sweet and wonderful she is.

Oh well I have 2 chapters to read and my trip to get ready for so I will check back later. Have a good day all.

Well bad news about my car !!The water pump was fixed no problem but they found an oil pan leak which is also under warranty ! BUT because my mileage from the last time was low they have to have the warranty company inspect it to make sure the mileage isn't being tampered with GEEZ I'm at a disadvantage cuz I don't drive a lot !!!

The PTA called me the day after my "interview" and told me that they want me to be the fundraising chair because I had some good fundraising ideas.

it started with this: Cookie Cupcakes and then it changed into different chips and then I made the cupcakes into a cake so i could do the design on it!

Another beautiful sunny day here, I golfed in shorts today We had some bad news though, one of the lady members husband died in the early hours. He's been suffering with depression and also had Parkinsons and he took an over dose last night. He was about 70 and it's probably a huge relief for his wife but....... also because it's suicide it makes everything so complicated Also David's best client (who D actually thinks of as a surrogate Dad) has just found out he has a tumour in his face he has a biopsy and scans and stuff tomorrow to see how far it has spread D is really upset!

So there's my jolly news, sorry!

It's been a crappy week. First our computer's power source took a crap, then our garage door opener broke and finally my mother backed into my new-ish car.

But on a happy note, I got a new Netbook and my job is going well. :

In our continuing "things are falling apart around here," I was just putting away the kids toys back into their bins (we dumped the bin stuff into a tote for a week, so that we could use the bins at book fair) and threw something in my back. It hurts.

SO not helpful right now, because I was on a cleaning streak again. The family and living rooms are picked up. Just need to do the floors tomorrow (no point in sooner) and the bathroom quick swipe, and we should be good for company. I guess it might turn out to be a good thing that I'm stuck at home, even though I feel bad ignoring the kid to do this stuff. On the other hand, he's been on the computer for quite a while, so he probably didn't care. (He has done yesterday's school work already, so as long as he's sitting, I figured why not?

Hi All!! Just a quick drive by.

Was online trying to upload pics on FB but of course it gives me a stupid error message. I'm trying to get some pics of AKV up for T and someone else (sorry forgot who ) who wanted to see it. It was sooo nice. It is far from the main Lodge, but still very nice. The only negative, I didn't like that the studio had a double bed and pull out. I guess the only studio that has 2 real beds for DVC villas is OKW. It's a shame really, you're spending so much $$ for this Deluxe resort and they can't even put in a 2 beds. Whatever, still very nice. I'll post pics as soon as I can.

The bday weekend was wonderful, but too short.

Yikes! It doesn't always have to be awful, though - my tennis/twin mom friend had that issue a couple of times with one of her girls, and she's fine. Just a fluke, if you will. Don't worry too much yet, OK?

I was involved with all the fundraisers at the school!! We had the usual candy sale which was a huge Money maker !! We also had a carnival at the end of the year with all sorts of games and food etc another good money maker / Other ideas I have heard of are COW Bingo !! Which really isn't Bingo The Youth group did the usual Easter breakfasts and spaghetti dinners !!Car Washes too !! Of course at Christmas there is Santas Secret Workshop!! A Talent Show might also be an option!!!

Ham Boy got hit by a baseball a couple of weeks ago. They were practicing and he was supposed to catch a fly ball. His forehead caught it, instead of his glove. It was so hard, he actually had an indention of the baseball threads on his forehead. He told me he wanted to cry, but didn't and on the way home he said he still wanted to cry, but he wasn't.

I have a SIL like that (Dh's side of the family - married to his bro). She is not nice to our side of the family. When they got married, my son was about 4 months old. We were told that we were invited to the wedding, but he was not. DH was mad, but I can understand that not everyone wants kids at their wedding and some weddings do exclude kids. Found out after their wedding, kids from her family and friends were there. Lots more stories - not enough time.

Which netbook did you get? I would like an IPAD, but haven't done any research on them yet. DH said a coworker has one and he is not impressed.

Sorry don't have time to quote.

We were home from the hospital when I posted the 1st time TE. They actually had us in and out of the ER in less than 3 hours :thumbsup:

Called and scheduled the nuerologist and the EEG. Neurologist is scheduled for May 26th. Waiting for a call back to schedule the EEG which needs to be doone before he see the neurologist.

Otherwise Jimmy is fine. He is playing, reading, watching Tv, playing on the computer, and right now I am posting from Burger King becasue he was hungry and he is playing in the playground
