Hello Fockers!!!

Just popping in to say Hi. I hope everyone had a good weekend. We have had a ton of rain and it took its toll. I have had a headache all day and my back and knee have been throbbing all weekend. Hopefully the rest of the week will go better. I think the rain is supposed to go away soon.

On a happy note I paid off my Disney trip yesterday, three days early. I will be in my happy place in 47 days. It will be with my mother but I will just run her over with the ECV my hubby has ordered me to rent if she annoys me too much. Seriously, I am really looking forward to the trip. I have never seen the Flower and Garden show and my aunt will be joining us for a day or two. I haven't seen her in nearly a year.

Oh well back to researching my paper and studying for my exam.
Congrats on paying off the trip. It's not raining here today but it's cold and cloudy. Good luck with your exam. It's not for an ECV driver's license is it????!!! ;);)

Where is everyone???? It's gone 11am you lazy lot :rotfl2:

So 24 hours later Madame Boo is out of the tree, she went up at about 10am yesterday and thanks to the very annoying people behind us was so scared, they were mowing their lawn, trimming their hedges, using long loppers to cut bits off the tree she was in etc etc for hours and hours. Their garden is the size of a postage stamp too. We tried several times and then it got dark so we just had to leave her, we then hardly slept as we thought the worst wuld happen. Anyway she survived the night (she made herself very comfy up there) and we tried again, after about half an hour she still wouldn't come close enough so our new neighbour, who must be about 70 said he'd try and he bounded up the tree and eventually grabbed her. Needless to say she is now housebound oh and the first thing she did was an enormous poo in her litter tray :rotfl2:

We then went to the supermarket, made ourselves a picnic and went for anice walk followed by some time at the golf club practising my chipping and putting .
I've not been doin' so well today. (See below.) I'm glad to hear that Boo has come back to earth. Boo's Poo!!!!:lmao:

Crazy at work since I got here this morning. Just a quick pop-in to say hi and hope all is well with everyone.

Jimmy has a Dr. appointment at 5:00, but Jim is taking him to that and I have a beef stew in the crock pot for dinner, so I may go home turn off the crock pot and go to bed...I am tired.

Have a good one all:grouphug:
Hi there! We're having steak tonight, I think.

Mitch is home this week, so I may not be on much. This morning he was calling all our creditors to reduce our interest rates whilst he's deployed. Our USAA credit card will be 4%. How nice if they would always be that low. I am going to try to get as much paid off as possible whilst they are though.

My godmother's father passed away this morning. She's more worried about her mother who had to be moved to an Alzheimer's facility over the weekend. They aren't sure exactly how her mother will react.

I forget if I mentioned it, but my mother has two compression fractures in her spine. Probably had them for quite awhile and decided taking Aleve would be enough. She has an appointment with the orthopedic and other than rest or surgery, I don't know what can be done.

Have a good day! :goodvibes
Cool on the reduced interest rates. Good idea to get them paid off or at least down.
I'm sorry about your Godmother's dad and mom. That's a tough predicament with her mother. I'm sure she feels completely helpless with what has to be done. Tell her that we are thinking of her.
I can't believe that your mother has been putting up with her back pain. Either way she will have to slow down. You don't bounce back very quickly from the surgery. It's so easy to re-injure that area. I will send a little prayer for her.

Ugh. Still raining.

D went to bed around 9:30 since he had to get up at 3:00. I wasn't tired yet, so I stayed up, then got into a book and stayed up MUCH later than was necessary - I didn't go to bed until nearly 2:00 and then I still woke him up when I got in bed, even though I tried to not.

So, then, of course I was ridiculously tired this morning. I was just having the kids get their shoes on when my neighbor called. Her DS9 has strep and was still sleeping, but she needed to get her DS13 to school (private, no bus) and so she asked if I'd come sit in the house whilst she drove the older one to school, in case the younger one woke up.

I did that, he never woke up, and I was back home at 8:30. I put chicken & noodles in the crock pot, then went back to bed until about 11:00, when I got back up and got ready for tennis drills.

I have to get moving a bit - my book fair co-chair and I are meeting here tomorrow morning, which means some cleaning is in order. I did a lot of de-cluttering over the weekend, but I need to do the floors, and make sure we have a good place to work.

Hope you're all having a good Monday! :grouphug:
You're such a great neighbor! Sounds like you are feeling better at least.

Sorry been busy with picking up Taxes , post office and Walmart !!! Not to mention making corned beef for supper !!Bad news they are out of the Laptop right now !! I am gonna check to see if they have it on line later !!! If not I will keep checking !!...
It figures on the lap top. That always happens to me too. I finally make a decision on something that I want or need and there's not one to be had. I hope you find it on-line.

Just lookie what came in the mail today!!

Now that is a scream!!! Thanks for sharing it.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Well so much for getting some stuff done today. Me and CE seem to be having the same trouble. I felt OK until about 3AM, couldn't sleep, my chest was aching a bit and I just felt lousy. Evidently the head thing went to my chest. I popped a Mucinex. I did finally fall asleep around 10AM. I woke up around 3:30PM. I didn't feel very well until about an hour ago. That is, I wasn't hungry until then. If I'm not hungry you know there's a problem.

I've made plans for lunch with my brother for tomorrow so I hope I don't have a repeat of this tonight. I have to get into town to get groceries and home stuff.

We decided to have some steaks tonight. I need to go ask Doug to fire up the grill. My tummy is growling.:thumbsup2 Let's hope I keep it down.

Chat at ya'll later!!!:grouphug:

I got the vacuuming done and the house looks decent except for the dinner stuff, but that's easy to take care of.

D is asleep on the living room floor, snoring quite loudly. :rotfl2: I can't blame him as he got up so early, but it's pretty funny. ;) I'm trying to get the kids up to bed. They didn't much like the "early" morning because we sent them to bed late last night after the movie fest, so I'm hoping tonight with a normal time will fix the time change issue. :thumbsup2

So, I need to go read, as it appears that D won't be up to doing that. :rotfl:

HI Fockers!

T - that there is a beautiful sight, and I am green with jealousy!

So today was my 180 day mark. I did get up and make some ADR's, how many I end up keeping, who knows. If it wasn't for the threat of free dining I wouldn't have made any.

I made:

Le Cellier (2x)
puffy goodness (2x)
Tutto
Boma breakfast
Sci Fi

The multiple ones are because I don't know what I am doing each day yet and I will cancel the ones I end up not wanting.

I know complained about this before, but I miss the old days where you could just walk up when and where you felt like eating.

I'm over the uber planning. I think buying DVC did this to me, I know I am going back again and again so I can sit back and go with flow. If I don't do it this time, I can do it next time. As LL would say, a kinder, gentler vacation.

Don't know if you are seeing the weather out of the Northeast, I'm thinking of building an Ark. I had to go to the foot dr and OMG it's bad here in NJ, I had to take so many detours going and coming back. The flooding is unreal, down trees, down powerlines. One bridge I went over and I was hoping it wouldn't get swept away as the water was so high and the current was really moving.:scared1:

Hope you are all dry and safe

HI Fockers!

I know complained about this before, but I miss the old days where you could just walk up when and where you felt like eating.

I miss that too. I am going at the end of April and have no idea what I want then. How can I possibly know what I want in October? :confused3

Now Jim is watching Band of Brothers.

My Jim loves that show too. Now he is hooked on The Pacific.

I may be going down the shore Saturday so that 70 mark will be real nice. My aunt lives in Cape May and my mom and I are going down to see her but I can usually get a side trip to the beach in.

Hope Jim gets enough girls for a team. I am waiting to get the call for myt team and the boys on it. I'm getting really antsy to go out and coach.

Hi all!
Well the weather is nice here so that is a definite:thumbsup2.

My grandson had his hearing evaluation and I have more questions than answers. He did not pass the evaluation but that doesn't mean he can't hear. :confused3 His right ear failed big time the left ear not as bad but still a failure. There is evidence of fluid in the ear so now we have to go back to the idiot pediatrician. Then it means a referral to an ENT specialist and then back to the pediatrician and then another hearing test. There is still a problem but we aren't any closer to figuring it out than we were before. I have said he needed to see an ENT because I thought he might have needed tubes. Hopefully we will be able to get answers soon.

I watch the kids until 8 today so I think I will take the 2 little ones to the park for a little bit before we get the oldest one from school. Chat with you all later. Have aa good day.

Hello All!
I'm a bit late to the party today. Looks like it was a slow one.

about the rotisserie chicken, i had a cat that would always drag away loaves of bread. We would lose it as soon as we got back from the store, but I'd eventually find it in my moms closet. He also stole kiwis....
That cat must have liked the fuzziness of the kiwi. My ex-sil left a raw turkey on the counter once while the oven was heating up. She came back into the kitchen to find both of her cats inside the bird munching away.

I got the vacuuming done and the house looks decent except for the dinner stuff, but that's easy to take care of.

Glad to hear you've got things in order at the house. Doug falls asleep in his recliner a lot. I have to tell him to go to the bedroom because I can't hear the TV over his snoring.

YAY! on 180 days! I'm glad you got what you wanted on the ADRs. I'm over them too. I think I will only make one for our trip in Oct. I want to do Tucker House for breakfast. That's it with the exception of the IP-DIP dinner. We plan on doing CS and bar service. Plus F&W is going on. I'll have the ressie desk number if we want to go to a TS. I'll just see what's available. It should be quite interesting.
Sorry about the rain. Please be careful.

It was gorgeous here today. Unfortunately it looks like cold and wet on our weekend. I hope your day went well.

Good Morning All !!

I couldn't help myself on the ECV comment-I'm such a stinker.:goodvibes I hope the weather is nice for you this weekend.
Let's hope that your grandson can get some help soon. The referral system just stinks. You and the insurance end up paying for extra visits that aren't very necessary. I'm sure the medical facilities and doctors love it.

Well golf was pretty rubbish but the day was glorious, the sun shone and it was really warm, we even sat outside with our food and drinks afterwards. Jess's parents evening was good and she's doing very well just needs to proof read, be more confident and ask questions :thumbsup2
I thought you were joking about being able to play better in the bad weather.
I'm glad Jess is doing alright at school.
