Afternoon all. Just poppoing in for a quick hi!

Kate - I got the same offer, I can't use it either:headache: We would have no problem with the value, we have to go July or August.

Hope everyone is having a good day! Check back later!:goodvibes

Ed - I LOVE your new avatar!

Janet - LOVE the sofa! I have a slipcovered one if that says anything about my sofa, lol. at least i can change the color randomly if i can find another cheap slipcover (they are dumbly expensive)

Rosie-

Angela- so since you are the cookbook book store, whats your fav cook book??
and BTW it was great spending time with u guys- we really had a great time! Sorry we were so pooped!

So poor KC is still sleeping. He hasn't had a day off since we got back and he's worked late several days.

Today is grocery shopping and hopefully laundry. I won't be around much because KC needs to fix his brothers computer thats been sitting here for a few weeks. lol.

Tomorrow I have jury duty. OY VEY!!! Everyone send some wishes that when i call tonight i don't have to go tomorrow!

WARNING RANT AHEAD
:SO... my holiday trauma started again! My in laws are stressing me out again. every year they don't get that we see my family on Christmas and spend turkey day with them. a fight happens every year. i am tired of it. it makes me and kc argue over something we cant control. now kc's dad is out of work so we may have to pay for turkey day, which is fine with me, but i told kc if they don't treat it like an actual holiday then i wont go. his mom eats off paper plates in her pj's and doesn't cook more than meat and rice and beans. its not what i know of thanksgiving. trying to convince her we should all sit down in normal clothes is apparently a big effort. and for xmas my family has offered them to come with us every year since we were married and they say no every year- which would be the solution for eeryone- but noooooo! URGH! I'm sure ill complain about this more in the coming weeks...thanks for the vent.

I'm off to make coffee for the first time in like 4 days since i have been sick!
VIVA LA CAFFEINE!

Kate - I got the same offer, I can't use it either:headache: We would have no problem with the value, we have to go July or August.

It is soooooo tempting. I have no problem with the values, either. We just can't fit all 5 of us in the room. And I can't lie. Especially in Disney. That's some bad juju right there. So, I'm still mulling. It would be a great graduation present for all of us. But....

Yep, whoever end up marrying them will be a lucky girl. She will have to put up with some craziness but she will have a devoted husband. :goodvibes Just so long as she likes Disney that is my only requirement for a sister-in-law. :lmao:

You know Katt, the deal they have out now worked out better than the 40% code that I received so you don't need to get a code to get a good deal. :goodvibes

After I talked with Jodi... I priced out the vacation...It came out the same...We can not go until June.. so $200.00 gift card... just the room discount.
At this point it's just principle with me. If they will send me one.. then Maybe someday... I'll get another one.. I'm on their "Lists" I get their junk .

Since I did not get one... I am guessing IF YOU TAKE THIS ONE.. it Eliminates the Room and Ticket Perk ?? It would be dumb if it did not.

To quote the Tin Man....When he asked the Wizard for a Heart.....

Yes... But I Still WANT ONE :guilty:

Afternoon all. Just poppoing in for a quick hi!

Hi, Janet!

WARNING RANT AHEAD:

Oh, Kat, I'm sorry. Frankly this is one of the few reasons I'm glad we aren't closer to "home." And it is why, even though everyone keeps saying, "Oh, we'll get you home for Christmas one of these times," they won't - because it's easier to stay here and enjoy it, rather than going and having the dang drama. ;) They would all "do up" the holidays, but we'd have problems splitting the time.

Vent away! We're always here.

ugh! :headache: Families are such a pain! :sad2: I'm not happy with our Thanksgiving plans, but since I have Christmas here, I don't say much. Although, this year is on Aiden's Bday. :guilty:

Kat- I feel you on the coffee too. I haven't had any since I got sick two weeks ago. Now that I lost weight from being sick, I'm scared to eat or drink anything that could make me put it back on.

I forgot to tell you all my appt. went well yesterday. I REALLY like this doctor. She's very cool. She gave me a new bioidentical hormone creme that I apply every day instead of taking pills. She also told me to read this book for my homework. So, I need to buy it after payday.
I really loved her. She even told me that I won't really be able to lose weight until my hormones are in sync again. She said first hormones, then we'll work on the weight thing. :thumbsup2

Must be a Molly Ringworm (That's Bob's nickname for her) marathon. I watched Pretty in Pink yesterday! Love that movie!

Oh, Kat! That just stinks. I totally understand too. That's why we DONT go home for holidays anymore. It was AWFUL. We felt guilty no matter who we "chose" and it was really miserable. Not what I want to feel like on a holiday. Perhaps you could just start your OWN family tradition? If KC's family cares enough to find out why you aren't visiting, maybe they'll finally agree to come w/ to your family's event?

Argh. Family! :sad2:

I couldn't have said this better. Really. It's the EXACT thing I would have typed to describe our situation here!

********************

So, how is everyone? I saw that Kate got a code, Janet and V popped in to say hi and so did Rachel....and I saw all you other peeps too! LOL. I'm just out of it today.

Eye is giving me some trouble today. Probably my stupid raking, but I did call the Dr. He said to come in tomorrow at 12:30. Bob is all P.0.'d over it, but he will forgive me. He called to tell me that he's now going to Alabama for two days on Tuesday and then coming home and leaving on Thurs. for Japan. I'm REALLY unhappy about that. I can't do anything about it though. This job is really starting to get to me. I know I should be thankful that he HAS a great job but I don't like all this travel. :guilty:

Sometimes, when this stuff happens (stacking up bad things, on top of bad things) I think about how easy my life was at a certain point and how I never appreciated it! Like just this morning, I was thinking about how happy we were when our house was apprasied for so much money and how things were going along soooooo well. And look now! I bet my house is only worth half that appraisal now!

Things are going to get better, right girls?! This blah mood calls for something.....
Ah, maybe it's a sign that I am supposed to go back to Disney!!!!!!

Sorry, missed this. I know what you mean, I do, and D has even said he'd go "home" if we could just go to my parents. We are both very aware of how weirdly possessive his mom is of our time. When he talked to his brother last night, he mentioned again that he hopes next time to stay with DBIL rather than DMIL, next time we go. :rotfl: I don't see that happening, but the visit would be so much nicer...

We actually luck out, if you will, and usually both his mom and mine come sometime before and after Christmas, respectively. That way, it's "fair" and yet we get to do our own traditions on the actual day. So, we still do get to see them. ;) Families are tough.

Kat - thanks for the pumpkin bread recipe.

CE - sorry to hear about the family mess going on.

Janet - love the new furniture.

Congrats to everyone who got pin offers.

Yesterday, I went to the dr with Mr Diz. He has a hernia from the gallbladder surgery he had this summer. They went in through his bellybutton and the doctor said it can happen. He also had a fall 3 days after his surgery, so that could have caused the hernia, too. Anyway, he has to have the hernia surgery Dec 5 and the dr said it hurts worse than the gallbladder surgery.

I'm in the process of making the downstairs of our house toy free. I told the kids they have to keep the toys in their room or the basement. They have a huge playroom in the basement, so I don't know why I've been letting them clutter my family room.

:lmao: You can move here, too! Don't bring your coats! ;)

That seems to be a recurring Theme with you :lmao:

O.K.. Now It's one thing to not want to gain back weight lost.. It's a WHOLE 'NOTHER THING.. to say I'm not gonna eat or drink anything that MIGHT put the weight back on. Have a Little Bit.. then walk away.

Angela- so since you are the cookbook book store, whats your fav cook book??
and BTW it was great spending time with u guys- we really had a great time! Sorry we were so pooped!

My favorite is Sterling Collection It's a collection of the best recipes from the four Junior League of Memphis cookbooks. I just finished making Boursin Potatoes Au Gratin. OMG they are so good!

We enjoyed spending time with you all too! I know you had been out all day and were tired so don't worry about it. :goodvibes

WARNING RANT AHEAD:SO... my holiday trauma started again!
 Ranting is perfectly acceptable.
Now that we've moved here, it's just Mitch, me and one friend for Thanksgiving. I'm fine with that because we have started our own new traditions which we keep saying will include Chinese food, but I haven't been able to do it yet! ;)

A good doctor is always a good thing. :goodvibes

Argh. Family! :sad2:

My Godmother, who is not blood related, calls us her family of choice. And I am much closer to her than my actual family.

Like just this morning, I was thinking about how happy we were when our house was apprasied for so much money and how things were going along soooooo well. And look now! I bet my house is only worth half that appraisal now!
I know ours is.

Ah, maybe it's a sign that I am supposed to go back to Disney!!!!!!
Yes, yes, yes. :cool1:

Ok, who's going to be here, in Orlando, this weekend? :rolleyes1 This weekend Mitch will be in Memphis, my sister in San Francisco and my friend in Vegas.
I really need to get the ironing done, but what fun is that?
And there's a shuttle launch tomorrow night. Very cool to see.

i agree. but I'm just saying that those venti caramel macchiatos probably didn't help. Not to mention all the fast food... :rolleyes1
I'm just trying to rethink what I eat so I don't gain it back. Also, I still can't stomach most things, so that really limits it right now. :scared:

That's not what autopilot is for? :confused3
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I have been waiting for one for 2 years... "Codes to the Left of Me Codes to the right here I am Suck in the Middle with"....
I never get codes Katt and we pay over the odds for our trips too but hey ho it's Disney :goodvibes

GAH. I'm tired of thinking about it, and obsessively searching for ANY more info, but I can't stop - and now of course I'm thinking more sad things for D and his family who are starting to gather together. :sad2:
It must be hard not knowing  Hope you had a nice nap

The girls are at choir and I'm all alone, nice and peaceful though :rotfl2: I just had 2 calls from WDW, it's still so surreal that I'm now getting calls and e-mails from Disney :faint:
