I feel you. I've been on the queasy tummy diet for two weeks.
Yesterday was the first appt I ever got off the scale and smiled. Down 17 pounds... ;)

Dang girl.

I'm just a few stomach flus away from getting into a size 4...I hope.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I'll never be a size 4...btw. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

So...
I gave my two week's notice at my job today. I'm starting a new job in December. :surfweb: :surfweb:

CE - sorry to hear about the family mess going on.

Thanks, Mary.

Anyway, he has to have the hernia surgery Dec 5 and the dr said it hurts worse than the gallbladder surgery.
Oh, no - a hug for Angry Troy, and one for you, too, for taking care of him.

It must be hard not knowing  Hope you had a nice nap

Thank you, I did, but I had a weird dream that I lived in a house near the ocean, more across the street from the beach, and suddenly the waves were pounding on my front door, and then Angela came and said, "See, THIS is a hurricane." :rotfl: Then I dreamt that one of my teeth fell out. That's kind of a recurring thing for me. I don't get it.

The girls are at choir and I'm all alone, nice and peaceful though :rotfl2: I just had 2 calls from WDW, it's still so surreal that I'm now getting calls and e-mails from Disney :faint:

Cool, though. ;)

Dang..........missed the details of CE's anniversary? Any pics posted???? ;)

NO!

Seriously, we had a very nice dinner out Monday, the night before the actual anniversary, but then Tuesday we got horrible family news about D's cousin, which kind of put a damper on any more, um, celebrating. ;) You can read back, or I can recap, let me know.

I'm am headed to VA Beach tomorrow to chaperone BA's drama competition----24 middle schoolers for 2 nites!
(Mom says I need to pack extra meds for me and them!)

Um, yeah. Good luck! (And break a leg to BA! :goodvibes )

Thanks for the well-wishes on my dinner tonight with the Crazies. CE you made me remember something. A few years back when the Crazies were still hitched, Mr. Crazy told my Doug that Mrs. Crazy thought it would be cool to husband swap with me.:scared1: :scared1: UH, NO FRIGGIN' WAY! Even if Mr. Crazy was gorgeous, Which he is not! I figured she was just joking. After everything that has transpired since, I don't think so. Doug thought it was hilarious.

 I'm sorry. My crazies at least didn't start that until we lived half a country away. But Jen(JV) could meet them. ;)

A quick Hi!

Wife swapping? YUCK!

Mine live in your state... :rolleyes1

I am crazily readying for WDW! I volunteered at school today and Have me some BUNKO tonight! I need BUNKO tonight. err.... As we call it.. Drunko. :confused3

Oooh, have fun!

We are going to get it right when we get Gus and then we're gaming all night! No, not me. I'll be upstairs watching bad tv most likely.....:rotfl:
What's on tonight?

I love Thursdays, but maybe not why everyone else does. I watch My Name is Earl, The Office, then CSI. But I know Grey's and ER, and maybe Survivor are on, too? ;)

I am feeling better. But, I was only able to stomach some bread today for lunch.

:rotfl:

I'm down 3 pounds since yesterday though. :rotfl:

"I'm only one stomach flu away from my goal weight." ;)

I know T would know that one. :rotfl: Glad you're feeling better.

*****************************************
I had a nice nap, weird dreams aside, and now it's 43 and rainy and getting dark. Great. We need to leave in about a half hour for Buzz's swim lesson.

Since D left, we're having fast food for dinner - but we have not done it this week, and so I think it's OK.

I should have gotten ready for my aunt, but I'm trying to block that. :rotfl: She's just a character, I guess. She's 68, never been married, though she's had a few long-term relationships. She lived near T the whole time I was growing up, and being (we thought - childless - since found out she'd had a son and gave him up for adoption, who she now knows and spends time with, but we didn't know him growing up), she'd send for my cousin & me to come out and visit, and we loved it. She taught school for years, but would occasionally take a year off and go hike the Andes or the Himalayas or something. We thought she was SO COOL.

But as she's gotten older, she's just becoming a total know-it-all, and will, for example, tell D how it is to get over jet lag or all about traveling  or tell me how all people who work in offices are lazy (though she's never done it and I have) or telling one of the other moms at my kids' preschool what it's like to be a teacher (and the other mom IS CURRENTLY teaching...) Or even telling me how to raise kids. Yes, I know she has a kid, but she didn't have him when he was 6. Or 2, or 17. It gets wearing, and it's not just sharing funny stories, it's always, "I know more than you." I can usually take it for a couple of days, but she's staying for 5. And D won't be here at all.

Maybe she'll surprise me. I am trying to be optimistic! :thumbsup2

Woody wants the computer for a few minutes before swim, so I'll be back after I put them to bed.

I'm on the Dis a lot, mostly on my TR though, so not a stranger you are just not reading in the right places, :rolleyes1 This thread is hard to keep up on though and my life is uninteresting thus the lack of posting. ;)

Hedy - Where's the new job at?

Jo- You deserve the calls from Disney. Enjoy it!
Thanks :goodvibes Have fun at drunko :rotfl2:

The new WOW game comes out today. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, nevermind...) They have been counting down the days for MONTHS!
I saw it on the news, people have been queuing for 2 days  I thought of you :rotfl2:

So, what'd they want. I'm bored. Share with the class... popcorn::
They wanted a cell number from me, but I explained I don't have one that works in the US :rotfl2: Oh and various e-mails the latest was that they wanted me to write some stuff for my press release and panel bio

I found some of those Fruit Pastilles at Publix. Tasty!
As in UK fruit pastilles????

I'll never be a size 4...btw. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I think size 4 (UK size 8) is far too skinny anyway :goodvibes

 Hang in there. And know that we are just an "on" button away :surfweb:

Thank goodness it was only a dream!:rotfl2:

The other day Mitch had a meeting at the nursing home. As they were cleaning up, one of the ladies saw something on the floor she thought was a crouton. After she picked it up, she realized it was a rotten tooth. :scared:

Make sure you have the wine chilled, if only for you. :rolleyes1

What! Where? Doing what?
A community organization doing direct care (my degree is in women's studies and spanish, and my eventual goal is to get my master's in social work).
Thanks, Mary.

You can't just do that :rotfl2: We need details :thumbsup2

Interesting :rotfl2: I used to always dream about my teeth falling out, literally spitting them all out  It does mean something but can't remember now!

So fun... We're here for you.

Ho hum... Kirt got off work 10 mins late and my MIL was supposed to be here as close to 3 as possible. 3:20 and it's just me and the kids.

I need a tapping my fingers smilie!

So, once they are here, I'm off to pick up my special creme (JV! Still laughing!) and go to dinner with my hunny. Then we'll go to Rockapella. :yay:

Tomorrow's our typical busy Friday, so I'll check in early and see you in the afternoon. Talk more! I'm bored!!! ;) popcorn::

Hi homies!! :wave2:

Just popping in for a quickie - focker fix, that is. ;)

This whole Brownie thing has got me so busy! Who knew it was a full time job? :headache:

I didn't read beyond this page, so hugs to all who need them! CE, I don't know the whole story, but you and your family are in my thoughts.

Oh and I LOVE that quote from The Devil Wears Prada! :lmao:

Take care everyone!!! I miss you all!! :grouphug:

I will, thank you.

::yes:: She does like wine, that will help! :lmao:

Awesome, congrats!

Interesting :rotfl2: I used to always dream about my teeth falling out, literally spitting them all out  It does mean something but can't remember now!

Yes, exactly! I read about it somewhere, too, but I don't remember either. Who's gonna Google it for us whilst I'm at swim?

Wow she does sound like a character, hope the stay goes OK!

Thanks. She's not all bad, and she IS happy to just do our normal routine with us, so at least I don't have to dream up activities. And hey, I owe her for many, many trips to DLR. ;)

So fun... We're here for you.

Thanks, I'm counting on it!

I think Google once told me it had to do with money...:confused3

Oh, Kat, I'm sorry. Frankly this is one of the few reasons I'm glad we aren't closer to "home." And it is why, even though everyone keeps saying, "Oh, we'll get you home for Christmas one of these times," they won't - because it's easier to stay here and enjoy it, rather than going and having the dang drama. ;) They would all "do up" the holidays, but we'd have problems splitting the time.

Vent away! We're always here.

yea this is becoming a yearly drama i just want it to end!!!!

ugh! :headache: Families are such a pain! :sad2: I'm not happy with our Thanksgiving plans, but since I have Christmas here, I don't say much. Although, this year is on Aiden's Bday. :guilty:

Kat- I feel you on the coffee too. I haven't had any since I got sick two weeks ago. Now that I lost weight from being sick, I'm scared to eat or drink anything that could make me put it back on.

I lost weight last month from being sick but this time it was right after F&W so i def don't think i lost any LOL!

Oh, Kat! That just stinks. I totally understand too. That's why we DONT go home for holidays anymore. It was AWFUL. We felt guilty no matter who we "chose" and it was really miserable. Not what I want to feel like on a holiday. Perhaps you could just start your OWN family tradition? If KC's family cares enough to find out why you aren't visiting, maybe they'll finally agree to come w/ to your family's event?

Argh. Family! :sad2:

yea im trying to start our own thing, that the issue. i just am not going to do this to myself anymore. if nothing is resolved id spend the darn day alone if thats what it comes down to. i just cant deal, esp since loosing my mom, the holidays are that much harder.

My favorite is Sterling Collection It's a collection of the best recipes from the four Junior League of Memphis cookbooks. I just finished making Boursin Potatoes Au Gratin. OMG they are so good!

We enjoyed spending time with you all too! I know you had been out all day and were tired so don't worry about it. :goodvibes

 Ranting is perfectly acceptable.
Now that we've moved here, it's just Mitch, me and one friend for Thanksgiving. I'm fine with that because we have started our own new traditions which we keep saying will include Chinese food, but I haven't been able to do it yet! ;)

those potatoes sound YUMMY. def making a note to look those books up! I am all about cooking the big meals i like it actually, just no one cares in our families if i do or not.

I'm sorry Kat but I have to slightly agree with them, we alternate who we share Christmas with so everyone gets a turn, maybe you could :confused3

I agree with that too, if both houses made a deal about the holidays. kcs parents do NOTHING and my family does everything. when i say nothing i mean no tree, no wrapped presents, nothing. my family does the tree and gifts and dinner and all kinds of other great stuff. its not much of a choice, ya know?!

THanks Kat. Slip covers are WAY expensive. I bought one once and almost :faint: at the price:scared1:

WARNING RANT AHEAD
[/U][/B][/I]:

This is why I tell everyone we are staying at our house. If they want to come and have dinner with us, fine, but I am not traipsing all over Southeastern PA and SOuthern Jersey all day:thumbsup2

I really want one of those snug fit covers that makes it look like its ur sofa. meh- i'd rather just buy a new couch!

 We go to Doug's sisters. It's traditional so you'd like that. But they keep popping out kids so it's packed. We need to do Thanksgiving at a convention center!

LOL!

Got SD, and now we're going to get Gus in a minute! The new WOW game comes out today. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, nevermind...) They have been counting down the days for MONTHS!

KC is not so excited, I dunno why, but hes been more into PS3 games these days.

I am feeling better. But, I was only able to stomach some bread today for lunch.

:rotfl:

I'm down 3 pounds since yesterday though. :rotfl:

Jeez, I remember that from last month, bread was all i could do! Feel better!

Mel - There is lots of good tv on tonight. Off the top of my head there is:

I am obsessed with Supernatural! KC is into it too, we are rewatching the old seasons! Great show!

I also love Survivor and CSI and I watch Ugly Betty too!
