It's OK I'm so used to it, it's actually very relaxing :rotfl2:

OK. I was a little worried about you, but I believe you.

sounds like everyone is having a good easter so far. Does anyone do penny eggs? When i was little we always had our real eggs and then plastic eggs with pennies in them. If you were really lucky you would get the egg that had a dollar bill in it!:goodvibes

I did some with quarters. Woody was the big winner with $1.25 total! :rotfl:

So we are stuck waiting for everyone!

Get all that????

GRRRR.

We are going to hopefully get all this done and then hit the diner for some late easter dinner. Provided this guy buys the TV and doesn't screw us over.

Hope you all are having a better Bunny Day!

I'm sorry, hun. Hope your evening is going better.

we are full of turkey now----yea I know, we usually have ham but the girls asked for turkey and dumplings and deviled eggs! :thumbsup2

Man, that sounds good. I really don't like ham, but everyone else does, so that's what I cooked. I LOVE turkey. Growing up, my mom and grandma always did ham and a roast beef (with potatoes and noodles) and that was terrific. :lovestruc

Hi, Rachel! Welcome home. :) Missed you!

I started some drunken Spanish Friday night. We missed you!

Hi, Rosie! Glad you had a nice day - hope the evening goes well!

***************************************************
We had a lovely day. I always feel weird carting food over there to cook, but it was easy stuff, so it was no big deal. Michelle's parents are very nice, even if her dad has the fakest black hair I've ever seen on an older gentleman. :rotfl:

She is out of the ICU and should go home Tuesday. They diagnosed it as streptococcus pneumonia, which I guess hits fast and hard, but she should be OK. :goodvibes

Deb came home just after the rest of us finished cleaning up, and that was nice. I'd not seen her since Maine - I'd seen John and the girls, but not her.

The kids had a wonderful egg hunt, too. :thumbsup2

Hey all. THanks for keeping it slow today...I appreciate it:thumbsup2

Kat - sorry you are stuck waiting on others. I hate that!

TE - Love the dress. Great pic too!

Rachel - Welcome home:goodvibes

Hope everyone else had a nice day. We are home, bathed, and watching a Tom and Jerry DVD that the Easter bunny brought Jimmy. He will be going to bed in about 15 minutes:yay::yay:

Great pictures!!!

Happy Easter everyone. Bill's parents came, his mom got him two new short sleeved polos for Easter and brought me a Disney scrapbooking kit!!

We went out for a family style lunch, talked about the party they had for her birthday the day before with her friends, and we broke it to them that were were going to Disney twice later in the year :lmao:. His Mom was happy as soon as she heard we would be around at Christmas. They also invited us to the "log home" in August, we aren't sure if we can go or not.

The sliding door on the van quit working , the one that lets the wheelchair ramp out. Goodness knows how much that will cost to fix. Bill's Dad and I think it is a cable that runs the gears. I am now on a search mission to see how it can be fixed :rotfl:.

I hope everyone had a peaceful, happy day!

Happy Easter!! Janet, great pictures! :goodvibes Jimmy is growing so much!!

Thanks Carrie:hug:. Yep, my little boy is growing up:sad2:

Great pictures, Janet! :)

Thanks CE!

My aunt put quarters in the younger kids and the older ones got $5 (maybe $10). As kids my grandparents lived on a farm and they would hide the plastice eggs everywhere. Some would have candy other would have change. The biggest prize went to the one who found the $10.

Sorry for not quoting but I'm cranky. Poor KC had the busiest day ever at work, which meant I did nothing because he was needing quiet to make his calls and deal with customers. So then we have a guy say he wants to buy our TV (the one his uncle gave him that we are selling to subsidize the cost of the new tv) and he said 5:30, so at 6:10 we call and he says he will be on his way now. Hello!!?? I specifically told the guy I had plans tonight too. Also it turns out our friend is coming to help us with getting the new furniture cant make it to IKEA. So thats on hold till Thursday. So we are stuck waiting for everyone!

Get all that????

:hug::hug: Kat. Hope your day got better and weren't stuck around waiting all day for that guy.

Sounds like a good day and glad your friend is out of ICU and will be home shortly.

And :rotfl: to the dad. My grandfather would take black shoe polish (YES...shoe polish!!!!) and dye his hair with it in his older years. He would get so mad at my dad as well. LOL My grandfather's hair started turning grey in his 20's. My dad is in his 60's and has very little grey. My grandfather would accuse my dad of coloring his hair all the time. Family...gotta love it! :sad2:

Great pictures Janet!

Happy Easter!! Janet, great pictures! :goodvibes Jimmy is growing so much!!

Happy Easter Carrie!

*****************************************************

We had a really good day at my grandmother's. The weather was gorgeous and the kids were able to play outside the entire time and burn of their sugar high.

When we got home my sitter called and asked if Lindsey wanted to spend the night. I sent Linds on her merry little way. DR and I took a walk and then fell asleep on the couch. He's now in bed and is very happy that he gets to sleep in sissy's top bunk tonight. LOL That was the only way I could make him happy about staying at home with me and not going with the sitter.

So, that's it. I'm catching up on a DVR'd show and then heading to bed. Night everyone!

Not so nice. I hope it's an easy fix.

Thanks. And I love that your grandpa did that. :rotfl:We often think my FIL dyes his hair, but it's auburn. This was, truly, shoe polish black and SO obvious. :lmao:Nice man, though. I shouldn't make fun. :sad2: ;)

Great! Is Lindsey off school tomorrow?

The story continues.....

We wait for the guy, who shows up at 7:15 or so, after saying originally 5:30. So he comes into the house to see the TV. We have 3 friends over waiting for him to get there so we can elave to pick up our IKEA furniture. We have the tv on and working, we show him. KC is even nice enough to disconnect the stand for him and wrap it up. They leave altogether and KC & Kevin went to pick up our TV unit.

When KC is on the way home with our new furniture the guy calls to say the TV won't turn on what are we going to do about it?! KC tells him nothing because once it leaves us thats all we can do, it's done.

OH- and we had agreed on $400 and he magically only had $320 in his pocket. We took it because we were tired of waiting and having it in the house.

So KC & I go out to the diner for dinner after our friend's leave and this guy KEEPS CALLING! Then he tells KC he "will get his money back". I told KC to tell him it's not a frikkin Best Buy- no returns a hole! KC was so upset, like mad -mad and he rarely gets that bad.

So after basically telling KC he has to come over and fix it we get off the phone saying we will talk later. I emailed him and told him we have no obligation to fix or return because it worked here and thats that.

I'm just waiting for this a hole to call back. I told KC I get the phone this time.

The moral of this tale- WHAT THE F IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE!!!!!!?????

Kat, I am so sorry to hear this . He didn't even bring all the money then wants to say the TV doesn't work?? I want to smack him for you. He needs to quit harrassing you now.

Well everyone seems to have had a Happy Easter. :goodvibes

Thank you all for the congrats on my tentative switch @ work. I'm pretty excited about it.

Mel: OMG Capuccino is too cute!

Janet: Wow Jimmy is getting so big! I miss dying Easter eggs.

TE: Ab looked lovely. I liked the B&W pic. :)

Rachel: Welcome back! Sucks about the blister and burn. Aloe Vera. ;)

Kat: that sucks about that guy and the TV. I've learned from watching much People's Court to always somehow write up a contract. Even if it's just a handwritten note saying that you're selling said item for said amount to said people with no refunds or something like that.

Well back to work :ssst:

kat: I agree with others. I wish I could deck him for you. I hope he stops harassing you.

We are going to hopefully get all this done and then hit the diner for some late easter dinner. Provided this guy buys the TV and doesn't screw us over.
Just read what happened, what a pain, if it was working when he bought it then tough luck!!!

Off white with black trim.....it was a small evening wedding at a local winery. She decided to do the pic in black and white cause she said she looked too white in real color.
Kids :rotfl2:

Welcome back floss killer :rotfl2:

OK. I was a little worried about you, but I believe you.
Awwww  Glad you had a nice day and that your friend is getting better!

Here are some pictures from last night/today
I agree Jimmy is definitely getting bigger and wow you spoilt him :goodvibes

Happy Easter everyone. Bill's parents came, his mom got him two new short sleeved polos for Easter and brought me a Disney scrapbooking kit!!
I love how she bought you Disney stuff, she's learning :thumbsup2 Hope the van can be easily fixed

We had a really good day at my grandmother's. The weather was gorgeous and the kids were able to play outside the entire time and burn of their sugar high.
Sounds lovely!

Hi everyone else :wave2:

Off to the supermarket in a minute, then we're off to David's golf range, it's their 15th anniversary and they have lots of stuff going on today including a trick shot display which are always good fun. I'm also going to try out some new clubs as Jess needs new ones so she can have my old ones and I'll get new :rotfl2:

Glad you had a good time, Rachel! :cool1: And glad you're back. :goodvibes

She is out of the ICU and should go home Tuesday. They diagnosed it as streptococcus pneumonia, which I guess hits fast and hard, but she should be OK. :goodvibes
That's great news! :woohoo:

Yes, Jimmy is eating Cotton Candy at 9:00am...Don't judge, it's Easter;)
We tried to get Reid to eat cotton candy at the carnival Saturday. He would have nothing to do with it! :faint: He did, however, eat two mini cupcakes Auntie made yesterday. ;)

Happy Easter everyone. Bill's parents came, his mom got him two new short sleeved polos for Easter and brought me a Disney scrapbooking kit!!
How nice of them. :goodvibes

He's now in bed and is very happy that he gets to sleep in sissy's top bunk tonight.
It's the little things. :rotfl:

The story continues.....
OMG!

I'm also going to try out some new clubs as Jess needs new ones so she can have my old ones and I'll get new :rotfl2:
You got the good end of that deal! :rotfl2:

I have to run some errands this morning and maybe pick up Reid. My sister doesn't know if she has a meeting or not? Kat, again, what is wrong with people? Just let her know.

Good morning! It's been sunny here for the last week. Really! Every day! I'm starting to wonder if I really still live in Michigan.....LOL

Rachel: Glad you had fun on your trip. I was wondering where you were then I remembered.....Old age! It's no fun... :lmao:

Kat: Ugh. Seriously. When Bob sold his Porsche last summer to a guy in Canada he called EVERY DAY for like two weeks. I finally told Bob that he had to call-block his number. Like you said, it's not Best Buy. You can't call me at 6 am to ask me when the oil light came on last! I'm sleeping, and it's your problem now. Grrrrrr.

Tracy: See if you have a trade school/vocational school nearby. We did growing up and their autobody shop would do even HARD repairs for cheap! They just like the experience! Hope it's not too much anyway, though.

TE: Forgot to say how gorgeous your daughter looked. Pretty girl!

Z: Yay (forgot to yay the hrs before...) and I hope you are having a good holiday. It's almost your bday.........

Janet: Can't get over how big Jimmy looks! So cute!

Jo: New clubs! Yay! Hope you have a lovely day. What's a trick shot?

CelBel: We did that with the eggs/money. But, only when they were younger. 16 and 12 (almost) and they aren't impressed with coins anymore! ROFL!

Hi everyone else! (Angela, Rosie, Lori, etc....)

Bob's off to work today. Today is a very exciting day here though. SD is getting his braces off!!!!!! Whoo Hoo!!!!!
So, that's where I'll be most of the day. Then we'll be celebrating by going out for ice cream.
Hope you all have a good day!
MEL:banana:

Oh, and Cappucino says, "Thanks." He is cute!!!

Moring All !!
Kat sorry about the guy harassing you !! H could have dropped it or who knows what!! Could be he doen't know how to hook it up !! Hope he stops harassing you!!
I am off to buy a new stove ours is shot!!! Just made the Ham yesterday but can't put it off any longer !!It will be a joy to havetime bake again!!!
