I was wondering how the Hannah movie was. The previews make it look good but I don't know if my 6 year old would want to sit through it all.

Chi liked it-she's 8. I thought it was ok. I felt like the first one was a documentary of her life, this one was more like a movie that followed along the lines of the show. It has all the same characters: Oscar, Jackson, her BFf that I can't remember her name, of course her dad Bobby ray, etc. So basically it is a 2 hour Hannah Montana show with the same struggles of her living a double life, etc.
Hope that helps.

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

I just watched Marley and Me, not a good movie to watch at work as I was balling my eyes out. But hey it is not the first time I have had a crying fit at work so why break tradition right?

I think I am the only one who hasn't seen this movie:confused:

I won $25 from tacobell!:cool1: My stupid little code on the side of the cup actually won! Im still waiting for my confirmation email, but im pretty excited!

That's great:thumbsup2

We lost our tball game but the boys were ok with it. The game ran over so we didn't make it to the easter egg hunt. DH took the boys to the carnival and I took chi to the movies to see hannah montana. It was ok, but I am glad we had matinee prices. Would have been better at the drive in though ($10 per carload and I can hold 12 in my van!!) Also didn't make it to the mountain either. And we didn't pick up the RV. So really I only did 2 things on my list today. :sad2:

Out TBall got rained out. We signed JImmy up and he got to meet the coach!:thumbsup2

So question, if you were to arrive home and find your front door wide open would you 1) enter the house not knowing if somebody was lurking inside waiting to attack you and then call the campus security department even though you don't live anywhere near campus and security doesn't carry weapons anyways or 2) call 911 and wait outside until the police arrived. Personally I would go with option number 2.

I swear some people are so stupid! I don't know why these people call me with this stuff, you are not on campus not much we can do for you, these girls aren't even bordering campus. :confused3 I of course advised them to immediately exit the house until the police could arrive to ascertain nobody was inside and then I of course transferred them to the police who they should have called in the first place! :sad2:

This is not the first call like this I have gotten either. One time a guy living of campus called to tell me that somebody was crawling into his house through a basement window so I of course asked if he had called the police and he said no! :headache: Seriously, somebody is breaking into your house and you do not call 911? :confused3

I mean honestly, do people have no common sense or a sense of self-preservation?!

Vent over!

And this is out future:confused3:rotfl2:

Oh! I will be leaving my vampire days behind soonish! :woohoo:.

That's great Z:goodvibes

I suppose it's late enough to qualify as Easter!

Happy Easter from our family!

Love
MEL (and Cappucino )

Is that your bunny. That just seems so wrong somehow:lmao:

Anyways Just wanted to wish everyone Happy Easter. We will be having easter at IKEA buying new furniture. LOL. Some holiday. Still we'll be with friends.

HAve a great day Kat:goodvibes

What are you laughing at Maria;)

Happy Easter everyone, we're not doing much, all our families live away and now with Em in NY we won't be seeing her :sad1: But it does mean we don't have to entertain :rotfl2:

HAve a relaxing day.

=======================================================

Well the eggs have been found, the basket ravaged and we are just hanging out until it is time to leave for my brothers house. Not much else planned for the day. Have a great day everyone:goodvibes

Happy Easter everyone. Hope you all have a great holiday. Bug still needs to find one more egg. The bunny was good at hiding this year.

Cute bunny
Yummy Taco Bell
Haven't seen Hannah Montana or Marley and Me.
Option 2

Sorry but my quote button is not working.

Hi Fockers!

I didn't even read to see what is up. This past week has been rough. I did manage to work from home the rest of the week but was exhausted by 4 -4:30 and would collapse. On tuesday at my post op the doc had me starting to put pressure on the foot, which I am and I am making progress, but it's painful. Unfortunately my fibro just complicates the healing process. Good news is I haven't had a Viocodin since yesterday morning.

I hope all the Fockers are well and Happy. I'm going to try and get caught up or at least look for a Kristel update.;)
Glad to hear from you Mo! I've been wondering how you were faring. Hope you're on your feet soon.

Right outside of the Buzz ride under the TTC. I guess they decided to carry adult sizes. :thumbsup2
Cool! I bet lots of folks were asking about them!

Happy Easter !

We're having our birthday dinner with my sis and her family this afternoon. I hate getting old and practical. We decided to save money and eat in. Although we're all making something, so it's not too bad. I did make the vanilla cupcakes from the March Southern Living magazine, yummy! :woohoo: Reid loved his Star Wars people I gave him the other day. Of course now we're all talking like Darth Vader. :rotfl2:

Happy Easter Fockers!

Lessa - the stupidity of folks just amazes me:sad2:

Janet - I haven't seen Marley and Me either and refuse too, won't read the book either, I know the ending sort of and well I just don't do animal movies/books.

As for why you think Jo is Maria von Trapp just shows why Jo's accent isn't real. See the von Trapp's were Austrian, if Jo's accent was really British you wouldn't be mixed up now thinking she was Maria.

See, more proof she is a non-Brit;)

TE - beautiful, I love the dress!

Mel - love the bunny, is that a pic of yours

Kat - glad the baby is doing better

Angela - is it your b-day? Have a happy one!

The dr said once I could wear a sneaker I could drive. I have every intention of making into the office tomorrow. EXCEPT, I tried everything I could to get that ^&%$^&%^&%&^ sneaker on my foot and no go. I took off all the bandages and put back only a small amount, enough to keep the stitches clean. Didn't bother with a sock, took the lace out and it wasn't even close. So Murph is coming to drive me to work. Yep, 42 years old and my mommy is driving and picking me up. Once at work though I'm going to see if there is someone I can hitch a ride with. I know no one lives in my town but I think there are a couple of folks in surrounding towns. THe only thing is a lot of folks take this week off because their kids are off.

I have to drive by Friday though, Murph is leaving for France and will be gone. You know as I type I bet Bonnie could drive me too, if I get stuck. Remember her, she's the petsitter, but she is like a second mother to me.

So any other heathens not celebrating like me today? I did get the nieces and nephews chocolate that Murph is taking over to my brothers for me, but I don't think that counts as celebrating.

Yeah, my quote button is broken too. Right................

Actually, I'm just too lazy to quote. And I think I ate too many jelly beans.

The boys woke up at 9 and went off looking for eggs. They found them all and their baskets and sat down to go through. Guess the bunny was good to them. No complaints....

I made a baked blueberry french toast, bacon, sausage, fresh pineapple and coffee for breakfast. Now we're reading and drinking our coffee. The boys have gone off to play downstairs.

Yes!!! That's Gus' bunny, Cappucino. Isn't he a doll!?! That is why he's living in my kitchen still (even though that's a bit REDNECK even for me...). I don't have the heart to relocate him. He's way way way too cute!

Mo: Please don't overdo it. You need to heal. And, there's no shame in your mom driving you! She wants to help, I'm sure!

Love to everyone, and Happy Easter.

Have a great day!
MEL:banana:

Mo thanks for the update sorry the shoe doesn't fit. I hear some step sisters had the same problem.
As far as mommy driving you that is what moms do at any age.

Happy Easter to all !! Quiet day here , I made a breakfst casserole that is yummy nd we are having Ham & wice baked tators for supper on paper plates !!Keeping it simple !Stillhave the egg hunt to do not sure where yet !!

I guess that's very true as well. It looks like my dad bought 4 dozen eggs. We boiled 2. I'll be sick of egg salad. Good thing though...my kids like sliced eggs. LOL

One fell off the counter, and they did eat it. So maybe it's not as awful as I thought. ;)

My cousin is getting married at the end of May. Her reception is apparently going to be a sit down type deal because they are asking what type of meal you want. (All weddings I have been to with the kids have been buffet style so I've never had to worry about this). But, I don't know if I should put the kids down for a plate of food or just stop at McD's and pick them up something. I just don't want to waste money (since it is my aunt uncle paying for it) since none of the choices really appeal to my kids. I e-mailed my aunt so maybe she can guide me.

See...I told you this would be a weird WWYD question.
Not weird. I think asking your aunt is the right thing to do. We actually had a kids' meal option at mine (chicken fingers and fries) and I see that a lot at sit-down weddings.

CE says Michelle got to get the ventilator out today. They are hoping to get her out of the ICU by Monday. She’s going to meet her parents. I’m glad to hear this.

Thanks, it's good!

Good news CE

::yes:: thanks!

I won $25 from tacobell! My stupid little code on the side of the cup actually won! Im still waiting for my confirmation email, but im pretty excited! Thats a lot considering i only make about $450 a month!

Congrats!

CE~Also good news about your friend

Thanks!

That's great! :)

Ellie got Twilight for Easter and it's on now, I'm not really watching it but it seems a bit weird, everyone looks so pale

:rotfl:You were expecting tans?

I think I am the only one who hasn't seen this movie

Nope, I've not either. No real interest...

Well the eggs have been found, the basket ravaged and we are just hanging out until it is time to leave for my brothers house. Not much else planned for the day. Have a great day everyone

You, too!

Happy Easter everyone. Hope you all have a great holiday. Bug still needs to find one more egg. The bunny was good at hiding this year.

Ours was, too - the baskets took way to long to find at 6:30 this morning. We do the egg hunt at our friends', later.

I'm going with YES and she posts pics everywhere!

She's so lovely. Thanks for posting it. :)

Happy Easter !

We're having our birthday dinner with my sis and her family this afternoon. I hate getting old and practical. I'd like to hear that! :) Have a fun day.

So Murph is coming to drive me to work. Yep, 42 years old and my mommy is driving and picking me up.

:) Murph's a sweetie, and you know she doesn't mind. Take it easy, hon.

The boys woke up at 9 and went off looking for eggs.

I could only wish. Woody was up before 6:30 and did lay down in our bed for a bit, but they were both up on the dot of 6:30 and wanted to go downstairs. The hunt took a while - dumb bunny! :rotfl:- but then D & I did go back to bed for a while. :thumbsup2

D isn't feeling great. :sad2:

I did my pre-bake mashed potatoes last night, and the ham is just a "heat-er-up", as are the rolls. We'll leave in about an hour and a half to go over to our friends' house. The bunny knows that we go there, so the eggs will be there for my kids. :thumbsup2

So, we got up and I made eggs for the kids. I'd hard boiled the dyeing eggs last night as well, so we just finished those up.

I need to shower. :lmao:

So, I'll maybe check back this evening, but I hope everyone's having a nice day. :grouphug:

What are you laughing at Maria;)

Yeah yeah yeah Mo, BTW missed you :rotfl2: Hope the swelling goes down soon

I bet you're missing Em and her family.
Yep all our family live away and David's never visit, Dad is always in America and Mum now has to worry more about Nanny :sad1:

:rotfl:You were expecting tans?
Maybe :rotfl2:

Have fun :goodvibes

BTW we've finally finished our TR, here's the link!!!!!

I fed Bale some more and cuddled with him. He is def getting better. He's not 100% himself yet, but getting there. KC says when he starts to play again he will feel he is back to himself. I agree. But eating is a great sign.

KC was up till I woke up this morning working. Actually he's why I woke up but I won't tell him that.

Glad Bale is eating. :) Hope you can get some sleep today and have fun shopping!

I'd see what your aunt says, but FWIW I went to a big shindig a few years ago and the kids had McD's bags and no one cared.

Maybe the restaurant will do a kids meal? I know all the weddings we've been to, they've all been sit down, have catered for the kids :thumbsup2

Thanks! My aunt replied and said to NOT buy them McD's. LOL She said the pasta dish is basically pasta with a marinara sauce and the chicken comes with sides. I think I'll do those two coices for them and then they can sort of share. LOL My kids really aren't picky eaters so I'm sure they'll be fine.

Chi liked it-she's 8. I thought it was ok. I felt like the first one was a documentary of her life, this one was more like a movie that followed along the lines of the show. :thumbsup2 Linds and I went and saw the other concert movie in theaters and it wasn't really for us. She wanted to go see the JoBros movie just like it and I said nope. Glad to know this is more like a movie movie.

I'm going with YES and she posts pics everywhere! ;)

:wave2: Hi Dawn, Janet, Margie, Mel, Rosie, and CE! Glad y'all had great mornings!

We had a good morning. The kids were up at 8 and ready to find their baskets. We went to church and there is a reason I don't go every Sunday...DR. :sad2::rolleyes::lmao: He would not sit still for the life of me and no matter what I gave him he still wouldn't. I'll give it another few months and then we'll see.

The kids have raided their baskets since being home and I'll let them eat all day but tomorrow I'm hiding it all. One day is enough. We're getting ready to head to my grandma's in about 15 minutes for dinner. The kids will do an egg hunt there.

Thier father actually called this morning but we were at church. Its amazing how he can call on a holiday but any other day he refuses. And then b&^%$es to me saying I'm not letting him talk to them. I'd like to know what his excuse is and he can't use he's working because he says he has no job. Let's see if he'll even call later on like he said he would in his message. Gee...could I have rolled my eyes in that paragraph anymore. :sad2::rotfl:

Sorry to vent and be a downer. :(

Hope y'all have a GREAT day and enjoy your day with family an friends. :grouphug:

Jo I forgot to ask did you have Hot Cross Buns on friday.:confused3On Easter morning we always had Soft boiled eggs and then turned them uside down and drew face on them !!:lmao:

 I'm sorry.
It's OK I'm so used to it, it's actually very relaxing :rotfl2:

Sounds good :thumbsup2

Rosie they've been in the shops for months, I don't like them though :sad2:

sounds like everyone is having a good easter so far. Does anyone do penny eggs? When i was little we always had our real eggs and then plastic eggs with pennies in them. If you were really lucky you would get the egg that had a dollar bill in it!:goodvibes

Mel- after seeing you bunny maybe i should get one of those instead of a hedgehog:lmao: its a close competition.

Sorry for not quoting but I'm cranky. Poor KC had the busiest day ever at work, which meant I did nothing because he was needing quiet to make his calls and deal with customers. So then we have a guy say he wants to buy our TV (the one his uncle gave him that we are selling to subsidize the cost of the new tv) and he said 5:30, so at 6:10 we call and he says he will be on his way now. Hello!!?? I specifically told the guy I had plans tonight too. Also it turns out our friend is coming to help us with getting the new furniture cant make it to IKEA. So thats on hold till Thursday. So we are stuck waiting for everyone!

Get all that????

GRRRR.

We are going to hopefully get all this done and then hit the diner for some late easter dinner. Provided this guy buys the TV and doesn't screw us over.

Hope you all are having a better Bunny Day!

Awww lovely, was the dress white?

]
Off white with black trim.....it was a small evening wedding at a local winery. She decided to do the pic in black and white cause she said she looked too white in real color.

++++++++
we are full of turkey now----yea I know, we usually have ham but the girls asked for turkey and dumplings and deviled eggs! :thumbsup2

Katt--glad your kitty is feeling better!:goodvibes
