Just working and getting ready for my trip, only 34 days to go!

:woohoo:

If anyone ate them after we were done, I wouldn't care so much. But it's such a pain for something we look at for 15 minutes, then put in the fridge, and throw away a few days later, you know?

:thumbsup2 I guess that's very true as well. It looks like my dad bought 4 dozen eggs. We boiled 2. I'll be sick of egg salad. Good thing though...my kids like sliced eggs. LOL

************************************************

This is going to be a really stupid WWYD? but I've never had to worry about it. :rotfl:

My cousin is getting married at the end of May. Her reception is apparently going to be a sit down type deal because they are asking what type of meal you want. (All weddings I have been to with the kids have been buffet style so I've never had to worry about this). But, I don't know if I should put the kids down for a plate of food or just stop at McD's and pick them up something. I just don't want to waste money (since it is my aunt uncle paying for it) since none of the choices really appeal to my kids. I e-mailed my aunt so maybe she can guide me.

See...I told you this would be a weird WWYD question.

Sorry ladies, dont really have time to catch up, but I wanted to check in. I'm going try and catch up later but I see some :woohoo::woohoo: are due for Bale.

I also see Mo checked in:thumbsup2

I had to tellyou all though...I'm sitting here watching the SOund of Music with Jimmy. I have determined that Jo is no longer Mary Poppoins...she is Maria Von Trapp ::yes:: Yes, I know that they are both played by Julie Andrews:rolleyes: but as I was sitting here watching with Jimmy he said Mommy, she sounds just like your friend that we met at EPCOT last year:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Good Evening Focker Friends!

DEB had to go to tball game, then an Easter egg hunt at a friends house, mama wants to take the kids shopping for new Bibles for Easter, DH is taking the boys to the county fair while I take Chi to see the new Hanna Montana movie. Then we are heading up the mountain to stake out a campsite for next week, moving mama's RV over here to start cleaning it and packing. :faint:So when do you crash?

JODI has puppy problems. 2 egg hunts and a game.

LORI says DR slept in his own bed last night and second he slept with big boy underwear on and had no accidents!!!! They need to get a dress for Linds. She’d rather eat cake.

TE has been dress shopping for Ab.

ROSIE says her job is very emotionally rewarding. You are priceless too, Rosie!

MEL says It's sooooo nice to have the house back. She will be cleaning on a day designated for worship. She says she is a heathen. Her hair and her reading have gotten out of control.
hair-1.jpg

JANET says T Ball was a washout. She’s been cleaning in the rain. Waiting for the in-laws to show up. Jimmy thinks that Jo sounds like Maria Von Trapp.

MO has had a rough week. Slow healing on the foot. She has been very tired. The stitches get removed on Tue. Get well soon, Mo. We miss you.

DAWN found a long lost shirt. She is not blaming Jo for its’ disappearance.:rotfl2:

JO’s (or should I call you Maria) bathroom is finished. Power tools make the woman. Jess was 2nd in golf today.

KAT says Bale is going to be OK! They found an IKEA TV unit on Craig’s list for $100. YAY! On both counts!

CE says Michelle got to get the ventilator out today. They are hoping to get her out of the ICU by Monday. She’s going to meet her parents. I’m glad to hear this.

Lessa says her life is boring. She is ready for her trip. We miss you too.

JO’s (or should I call you Maria) bathroom is finished. Power tools make the woman. Jess was 2nd in golf today.

KAT says Bale is going to be OK! They found an IKEA TV unit on Craig’s list for $100. YAY! On both counts!

Yay and yay:yay::yay:

CE says Michelle got to get the ventilator out today. They are hoping to get her out of the ICU by Monday. She’s going to meet her parents. I’m glad to hear this.

Thanks for the update Kristel and the kind words !! :hug:I was oficially back to work today ! :thumbsup2It was a pretty quite day as many of the consumers had gone home for the weekend !! :thumbsup2I did most of my catch up work but just kept loking at the pile of mail and left it:rotfl2:
Tonight the kids are coloring eggs, we do eat them so it's not a waste .:lmao:The girls made a cake for tomorow and I still have to make the breakfast casserole and fill the baskets but that will be later after at least Kyle is in bed !!

Happy Easterto all my Focker Friends !!!

I just watched Marley and Me, not a good movie to watch at work as I was balling my eyes out. But hey it is not the first time I have had a crying fit at work so why break tradition right?

hi! I dont have time to quote. Im off to the pet store to price some cages for my hopefully new hedgehog, or maybe guinea pig since hedgehogs are illegal here. Id still take one, but dont know if Ill actually be able to find one in the area.

I won $25 from tacobell!:cool1: My stupid little code on the side of the cup actually won! Im still waiting for my confirmation email, but im pretty excited! Thats a lot considering i only make about $450 a month!

Kat! Im so excited for Bale:cool1: You must be so relieved!

Kat~Great News!!:cool1:
CE~Also good news about your friend :cool1:

Debra – Sorry I had to LOL at the van vent. I feel the same way when my best friend gets in my car.
Please don't apologize. It was a rant but I meant for it to be funny ;)

I think you already did the best thing- ask your aunt what she wants. good luck with this! :flower3:

We lost our tball game but the boys were ok with it. The game ran over so we didn't make it to the easter egg hunt. DH took the boys to the carnival and I took chi to the movies to see hannah montana. It was ok, but I am glad we had matinee prices. Would have been better at the drive in though ($10 per carload and I can hold 12 in my van!!) Also didn't make it to the mountain either. And we didn't pick up the RV. So really I only did 2 things on my list today. :sad2:
We have friends and family coming over tomorrow so I really should get up and help DH clean...:guilty:

So question, if you were to arrive home and find your front door wide open would you 1) enter the house not knowing if somebody was lurking inside waiting to attack you and then call the campus security department even though you don't live anywhere near campus and security doesn't carry weapons anyways or 2) call 911 and wait outside until the police arrived. Personally I would go with option number 2.

I swear some people are so stupid! I don't know why these people call me with this stuff, you are not on campus not much we can do for you, these girls aren't even bordering campus. :confused3 I of course advised them to immediately exit the house until the police could arrive to ascertain nobody was inside and then I of course transferred them to the police who they should have called in the first place! :sad2:

This is not the first call like this I have gotten either. One time a guy living of campus called to tell me that somebody was crawling into his house through a basement window so I of course asked if he had called the police and he said no! :headache: Seriously, somebody is breaking into your house and you do not call 911? :confused3

I mean honestly, do people have no common sense or a sense of self-preservation?!

Vent over!

Jeez! I wonder if they had to stop to look up the number to call campus security?

Kat: :yay:for Bale!

Hi Mo!

Janet: too cute about Jimmy's Jo comment.

Lori: do you know what the food is and that your kids won't eat it? Otherwise I'd stop and get the kids food.

I just watched Marley and Me, not a good movie to watch at work as I was balling my eyes out. But hey it is not the first time I have had a crying fit at work so why break tradition right?

I warned. ;)

I would go with option #2 too, but then again I've seen too many movies and have common sense. :p

I won $25 from tacobell!:cool1: My stupid little code on the side of the cup actually won!

Wooo!! Hey $25 from Taco Bell buys a lot of food.

Hi everyone else!!! :flower3:

********************************************
I'm just working and posting on the sly. :ssst:

Oh! I will be leaving my vampire days behind soonish! :woohoo:

The girl who has the same position that I have but in the morning during the week (that I should've gotten but they never offered it to me ....I'm not bitter). Well she applied for a supervisor position (I couldn't apply for it since my mom works in the department and it's not allowed for family members to work in the same department, let alone be a supervisor) and out of default/favoritism they gave it to her :sad2::rolleyes:.

So since her spot will now be vacant and I had expressed moving to the mornings when I accepted the promotion they gave me, they told me that I'm their first choice. So Yay!!!

I still have to do nights for a bit more though, until everything becomes finalized. But still, I'm so happy to have normal people hours.

I suppose it's late enough to qualify as Easter!

Happy Easter from our family!

 Hi Rosie! Glad you had a quiet day at work. Hope you have a good day tomorrow!

I just watched Marley and Me, not a good movie to watch at work as I was balling my eyes out. But hey it is not the first time I have had a crying fit at work so why break tradition right?

I haven't watched it yet and I'm sort of glad I can watch it in the comforts of my own home and late at night when no one can see my bawling eyes out.

I was wondering how the Hannah movie was. The previews make it look good but I don't know if my 6 year old would want to sit through it all.

Yeah, I think I'd pick the option of number 2 as well. Of couse I have done option number 1 before. :sad2::rolleyes::rotfl: Not to campus security but to ExH who was at work in VA and I was in OH. He told me to call the cops and not him.

I'm just working and posting on the sly. :ssst:

Congrats on the new shift! :woohoo:

**********************************************************

Well everyone I am off to bed. I probably won't be back on until later tomorrow afternoon or night. Hope y'all have a very Happy Easter! :grouphug:

I win the earliest post for today...does it count since I am awake still???

I actually crashed out at about 10pm and woke in the middle of the night again. I figure just be up for a bit til I pass out again.

I fed Bale some more and cuddled with him. He is def getting better. He's not 100% himself yet, but getting there. KC says when he starts to play again he will feel he is back to himself. I agree. But eating is a great sign.

KC was up till I woke up this morning working. Actually he's why I woke up but I won't tell him that.

Anyways Just wanted to wish everyone Happy Easter. We will be having easter at IKEA buying new furniture. LOL. Some holiday. Still we'll be with friends.

:woohoo:

:thumbsup2 I guess that's very true as well. It looks like my dad bought 4 dozen eggs. We boiled 2. I'll be sick of egg salad. Good thing though...my kids like sliced eggs. LOL

I'd see what your aunt says, but FWIW I went to a big shindig a few years ago and the kids had McD's bags and no one cared.

Michelle got to get the ventilator out today. They are hoping to get her out of the ICU by Monday. :goodvibes I don't know that there is a diagnosis, so to speak, but things are looking better. :thumbsup2
Fantastic!

Not much really, mostly why I haven't been posting, I have nothing to post about! :rotfl: My life is very boring. Just working and getting ready for my trip, only 34 days to go!
Wooohooo not long and you're never boring

Maybe the restaurant will do a kids meal? I know all the weddings we've been to, they've all been sit down, have catered for the kids :thumbsup2

Yes, I know that they are both played by Julie Andrews:rolleyes: but as I was sitting here watching with Jimmy he said Mommy, she sounds just like your friend that we met at EPCOT last year:rotfl2:

I'm so pleased Kat

Happy Easter everyone, we're not doing much, all our families live away and now with Em in NY we won't be seeing her :sad1: But it does mean we don't have to entertain :rotfl2:

Ellie got Twilight for Easter and it's on now, I'm not really watching it but it seems a bit weird, everyone looks so pale :rotfl2:
