Rosie, I am so sorry sweetie. The loss of a pet is always tragic, especially one that has been with you for so long.

Lessa...are you stressing about school again or are the Freshman just getting on your nerves.

It is a combination of things but yes on both counts. I am also a bit lonely, most of my friends have moved out of the area and those who are still in town have such different schedules from me that I barely get to see them anymore. As I said I am just sort of feeling sorry for myself. I can't wait to get busy with school again next year, it always helps me forget my worries. I just wish I didn't have to wait until the spring to find out if I am accepted to the Nursing program or not. Sigh.

Hi, Theresa. Nothing much new today. I called Mom earlier, but she'd just gotten to the hospital. She had the boys talk to Grandpa, which was sweet and cute, but I got no info, and the boys hung up. I've been meaning to call her back, but haven't. I figured she'd call if she knew something.

We're home from date night. We ended up going to a Canadian-themed steakhouse. They have elk and bison, but we both had beef. It reminded me a bit of Le Cellier, but the ambience was better and the food was cheaper. The mashed potatoes I had weren't quite as good as the ones at LC, but the meal was still yummy.

I'm so glad you had a wonderful time. You needed it!

My anxiousness is back tonight. No idea what brought it on so I am just sitting here feeling sorry for myself. I did to get a life.

I wasn'tgoing to tell but I have some sad news my 16yr old cat died today ! They called me at work. DSIL took him out to bury him by some water he thought that would be nice !!I'm so sad but he was old and he died at home !

Thanks Jen I just feel like crying sometimes, I know things will work out eventually it's just that I always thought by this point in my life I would be settled into a career and be living the fabulous life with great friends and a great guy. Just wish life was easier sometimes, don't we all though.

You're lucky. You figured out what you want to do with your life early. There are some people much older who still don't have any direction...and you DO!!

This is a PERFECT time for you to relax. Because you have a long journey coming up...nursing school is hard! And you're up for it! Take a siesta baybee...and gear up for your next trip!

Thanks, I do need to learn how to relax, people are always telling me that. I am so tightly wound lately. I am going to try and get some friends together to go out for a night of dancing and drinking. I haven't done that in so long, would be nice instead of sitting around at home.

I'll just have to make sure it doesn't end up like my infamous Montreal 05 trip where my friends dragged me to see the male strippers and I ended up so drunk I ended up crying into the toilet all night between waves of nausea. My poor friend Meredith who stayed to take care of me that night, she missed out on her lap dance.

Life is stressful sometimes. Don't stress yourself out too much over time limits. I thought I'd have been married with at least one kid by 25 and here I ma 32 and only married 3 years no babies (Yet) so don't sweat it! You know we are here for you, the DIS therapy is the best kind. And you know you can now just make your way down to Brooklyn anytime you want to get away...we can go window shop together (see I'm being a good infulence and trying to save u $).

Hi all just wanted to stop in and say hi to you all. Everything is going fine here I just do not have the time to keep up with the threads. I logged in and was about 30 pages behind . I will have to just make quick dive by posts for a while.

My anxiousness is back tonight. No idea what brought it on so I am just sitting here feeling sorry for myself. I need to get a life.

We took a mini vacation that was altered somewhat by Hanna. Our first stop was in Aurora, NC to visit the fossil museum. We didn't make it there before they closed, so we just hunted for shark's teeth for a few hours. Then we took a ferry over to civilization and continued on to the beach. We had planned to go to Ocracoke and up to Corolla to see the wild horses, but we will have to make that another time. I'll post the pic of the Loud Children with Jim Cantore. OMG! Y'all wouldn't believe how many drunk 50+ year old women were going goo goo over that man.

Glad all is well, S'late. We're getting poured upon, but all is well.
