Oh, and Jo, there were a couple of folks Shaggin on the beach. ;)
The dancing type I hope :eek:

Well, I am a football widow again and not even married :rotfl:.
I'm every type of sport widow, why do you think I DIS so much :rotfl2:

During football Sunday it's our tradition to pick up a veggie and meat tray, chips, dips, and desserts and just graze all day on it.
Have fun!

Here's the whole group - we propped the camera up on the mantel:
Looks a fun group!

I am looking at restaurant selections for next August:sad2:
Don't worry Janet I was looking up the price of the GF, BC and POR for next August to get an idea for 2010 :rotfl2: GF is twice the price of POR and I said to David did he think it was worth it and he said yes :yay: We'll see though you know how tight I am :rotfl2:

Here are the places we are considering...
Rainforest Cafe at AK
50's Prime Time
Mama Melrose's
TOny's Town Square
Chef Mickey's
Kona Cafe (I am getting Tonga Toast some day)
So what are your opinions on the above. Since I have 11 months you all know these are just the first draft:lmao:

:rotfl: Well, I can only comment on two - we really liked Chef Mickey's and I felt the food was really good for a buffet.

I was completely unimpressed with Tony's last year. The service was eh (granted, it was late) and the food was less impressive than Olive Garden, which I barely consider Italian. ;) We can get SUCH good Italian around here (as I'm sure you can as well) that it's not something we'd do again. :confused3

The guy that just scored on Philly, Hank Baskett, is from here in Clovis. I used to babysit him. :lmao: His family are good friends. He's like a hometown hero here!

Ooh, that's cool!

I'm watching the game too. I'm a HUGE St. Louis fan. Have been since they were the LA Rams. The guy that just scored on Philly, Hank Baskett, is from here in Clovis. I used to babysit him. :lmao: His family are good friends. He's like a hometown hero here!

Jim said good job...you raised him well;)

I loooooove RFC. Love it. It's my favorite place in AK.

And Chef Mickey's. I really think it's worth it. The kids love it.

We weren't thrilled the one time we ate at RFC at DTD, but we thought we'd give it another shot at AK becasue the one time we went JImmy was 1 1/2. He doesn't remember it and I think he'd like the animal theme.

We are also going to try and do the new T-Rex place at DTD which is supposed to open in November.

Cool:cool1: Are you going to be doing August 2010? DO I detect another possible Fockerfest then;)

I saw that it opens on Oct. 14th or something. We want to do that too. Look so neat!

And I know some will disagree with me...but I loooooove RFC. I just do. The atmosphere is so fun, and there are things that are really good. It's not 5/5 stars or anything, but it's good. And kids love it!

We love Rainforest Cafe and 50's Prime Time Cafe.

We have trouble at restaurants sometimes because Bill (my significant other) has Cerebral Palsy and is in a power wheelchair. Servers will sometimes try to place us in out of the way place where there is no turning room, I politely tell them it won't work and suggest another place. They also act Bill has a mental disability when they see the power chair. They will say "what would he like to drink?" Bill just smiles because I say "I don't know, Bill what would you like to drink?" then he tells them. Drives me insane :mad:. The server, Byron, at 50's treated him "normally" which we loved. He was so fun, very considerate, he got a big fat tip!

Sorry got off on a rant there for a minute. Back to the question, I agree with Jen RC is fun and we really liked the food.

Thanks. THat would annoy me to no end. My SIL is mentally challenged and a severe epileptic, but she is very high functioning. If she was with us and they a server did that she'd be telling them off:lmao:

OK, who has stayed at ASMo? MrsK, didn't you stay there? What buildings are considered the preferred?

Hey Howdy Hey!

Janet, there is nothing wrong with a little pre-planning.:thumbsup2

Rosie, :hug: :hug: Sorry about your cat.

Mrs.K, rant away. That has got to be VERY difficult to deal with.

CE, I'm glad your gramps is doing okay.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I hope everyone is having a good weekend. I'm sitting here watching Bizarre Foods :sick: and waiting for DH to get home from Gainesville. The boys are busy playing and doing homework. A quiet day at my house.
I'm having one of those, too. It's nice!!! The boys have been outside for about 4 hours now.
OK, I have no life. Jim is watching the Eagles game and Jimmy is playing with his toys so what I am doing in between loads of laundry? I am looking at restaurant selections for next August:sad2:
PHOTOPASS QUESTION...Where is LL when I need her:rolleyes1 Does anyone know if I can add my own pictures to the Photopass CD or can I just get them in prints? I am trying to order my Cd and am sooooo cunfuzzled:mad:
Thanks! We had a fun evening. I am moving slow today, though. ;)
Why would that be? :rolleyes1
Cool:cool1: Are you going to be doing August 2010? DO I detect another possible Fockerfest then;)
Yep it has to be August :rotfl2:
That would really annoy me too, very different but I take out roadside cover in my name for me and DH but every single year the renewal comes addressed to DH :headache:
The boys are busy playing and doing homework. A quiet day at my house.
OK silly question how does the home work thing work when you homeschool?
Kona Cafe (I am getting Tonga Toast some day)
You know you can get it at the CS at the Poly and much cheaper too :thumbsup2
Jim and I were talking and we are not going to do as many TS meals and probably only 1 or 2 character meals as Jimmy just wasn't into it this year, then again next year he could be completely into it.
So what are your opinions on the above. Since I have 11 months you all know these are just the first draft:lmao:
:rotfl2: I have a longer time to go than you and I'm thinking about places to eat as well.
I've been to other RFC and the kids have always had fun. Everyone else is right in that the food is OK, but ti's still fun.
My kids definately liked Chef Mickey's because of the characters and the food was OK.
I thought Tony's was pretty good. My dad came with us and he said it was one of the best meals we had while there.
Just great. Gotta love boys. Stinky prenage boys. :scared:
I'm watching the game too. I'm a HUGE St. Louis fan. Have been since they were the LA Rams. The guy that just scored on Philly, Hank Baskett, is from here in Clovis. I used to babysit him. :lmao: His family are good friends. He's like a hometown hero here!
I wanted to post a pic of my little Steeler fans. I've taken a pic of them every year on first game day and it's so neat to see how they have grown. I should see if I have them in photobucket. But, here's todays...
August2008014.jpg
OK...I found the others from years past...
LindsandDR13.jpg
DR was 6 months, Linds was almost 3, and that's their father (the soon to be ex) with them.
DSCF1857-1.jpg
DR is 18 months and Linds is almost 4
And I don't have one last year on actual game day. They spent the weekend with their father and then the following weekend we left for Disney. So, last year's was a little late but I still have one. :)
pic000-1.jpg
DR was 2.5 and Linds was almost 5
Good for your SIL :thumbsup2. Sorry I haven't stayed at ASMo. The only value we have stayed at is Pop and we love it.
Mrs.K, rant away. That has got to be VERY difficult to deal with.
Thanks for saying that.
Hmmm what do they consider a "bizarre food", what is the criteria?? This makes me want to watch it :rotfl:.
Ugh, that must be SO annoying. :hug:
I'm having one of those, too. It's nice!!! The boys have been outside for about 4 hours now.
CE it is annoying, but I am getting better at handling it. You should see the looks on the servers faces when I start physically moving the table so Bill has more room they look like this: :eek:
I am glad your grandpa is ok, it s great that you get some quite time.
That would really annoy me too, very different but I take out roadside cover in my name for me and DH but every single year the renewal comes addressed to DH :headache:
Why do they do that? If you take it out in your name, it should come in our name.
==============================
So I have breaking news from Enchanted....
Kristel (lazydoxy) text Scottny. She wanted him to tell me to let the Fockers to know that they got to Port Orleans Riverside and got a room in the AB Section with a pool view.
Lori that picture is adorable. What a great idea to take a pic every year on first game day!!
He's doing OK. No more bleeding for the moment and he looks better. They may even send him back down to rehab... I feel a little like Chicken Little - I keep getting all worked up, then nothing ends up happening. ;)
:hug:
Mo...I"m shocked...:eek:
I doubt that;)
That would have been this morning. :rotfl:
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
I would say no to Tony's
Kelly really liked 50's PT
RFC - I prefer the appies, to the entrees
Did I enable enough?
