Ya know.. out in public like that.. just seems wrong. I guess she was just wanting to help.. but... hand a card with a discount.. don't talk to me about my Saggy B O O B S in PUBLIC... save that for the store.

That's where I gain it first :sad2: and THANKFULLY also lose it first.:banana:
I Asked GOD to keep them at a "B" but NOOOOO
Then came kids and UP UP .. and then DOWN DOWN till they fall on the ground.:rotfl2:

Yes, me and a friend were at a WW meeting one day and noticed a poster of a young, slim "I just lost 30 pounds" woman...........with big breasts..........:mad: We decided THOSE results were NOT typical!:lmao:

Ab says the rich girls on MTV get **** jobs for their 16th birthday.:eek: i think she's just hoping to scare me so much that the belly button ring will seem relatively nothing!;)

Is it cold there, Katt? It rained this evening and it's sweatshirt weather!

:lmao: Speaking of bras, I went into VS the other day....Ab needed more undies for her "cute underwear makes you feel good theory".........anyway, since I had a $10 off coupon, I decided to get a new bra.......the sales lady (young/slim) thought 36B did not sound right (:confused3 ), so she measured me........turns out I am a C.......Ab was very impressed as she is a 34A...:rolleyes: .........but it feels GREAT! It pushes up and in and doesn't poke nasty wires under my armpits! Got free panties too which did make me feel good!

:rotfl: I agree with Ab on the cute undies thing. I always like to wear nice undergarments, makes me feel nice even if I am the only one seeing them. ;)

I am a VS fan, I love their stuff, I hope they expand to Canada someday so I am not always having to order out of the catalogue.

It is nice wearing the correct sized bra though isn't it? I always hate getting measured as it is so embarrassing but sometimes it is necessary to find the right fit. :goodvibes

TE: Funny bra-related story. I was at the lake with Gus while he did swimming lessons last week. This woman comes up to me (she looked INSANE-hair all askew. Clothes all rumpled) Anyway, she comes up to me and says, "I noticed you are LARGE breasted. I run a bra shop. I think you should come see me and get those things HIGHER up on your chest."

OMG. Seriously. I was so shocked I just looked around like, "Someone HELP!" I know they're huge. I know they sag. :rotfl2: What can I do?
:rotfl2: The girl with me (Gus's friend's mom) said, "OMG, Mel. You must be a crazy person magnet!" Yep.

Long story short, I read your post and thought, wow it would be nice to have a bra that fits and doesn't poke me. Guess I should've listened to the crazy lady.

MEL:banana:

Oh gosh, I would have been so mortified if somebody had done that to me.

Warning this could be a TMI post...

Well I am back and we now have 6, yes count them, 6 double rolls of toilet paper. That is not all though, womens hygiene products were on sale so I got some of them also.

Focker rule #359........there's no such thing as TMI!

And we're happy for your guests!:lmao:

I can't imagine what she was thinking! I mean, if I wanted to talk about my ****'s I'd just walk without a bra on at all.

I'm not sensitive to the size of them, I mean they are HUGE but I never really felt self concious about them till then... Thanks crazy lady.

Ok, I am going to post an update to my TR. I'm not pimpin. Just saying...

MEL:banana:

It was delicious, leg of lamb is absolutely gorgeous cooked in the slow cooker (I just add a little water before I cook and put it on for about 6 hours) it literally falls off the bone, so tender :goodvibes
Now leg of lamb is not a "average" meal here (at least in the upper midwest). I honestly have never tried lamb. My dh gets it often when we are out though.

IWell a few weeks ago one of the links fell off and I hunted everywhere and couldn't find it, so I kept the watch in my pocket saying I'd buy one in Fl (much cheaper) well I dropped it on the sidewalk and smashed the face :sad2: Then last week, yes I was still using it, the battery went, do you think it wanted me to get a new one :rotfl2: Anyway today I found the missing link :rotfl:
Go figure!:laughing:

Dad is eating and trying to figure out why the nurses woke him up in the middle of the night to weigh him:confused3
I have NEVER understood why they think it is a good idea to wake up patients in the middle of the night.:confused3

So do you guys hate writing cover letters as much as I do?
I haven't had to do that for a long, long time! I am sure it SUCKS!

I am here trying to figure out why my bra is creaking like the door into a haunted house :confused3
ooooh I hate it when they do that! Mine has always been caused by the fabric shrinking, then being too tight against the under wires.

: I decided to get a new bra.......the sales lady (young/slim) thought 36B did not sound right (:confused3 ), so she measured me........turns out I am a C.......Ab was very impressed as she is a 34A...:rolleyes: .........but it feels GREAT!
Good bras, which are well fitted are the BEST!

T "I noticed you are LARGE breasted. I run a bra shop. I think you should come see me and get those things HIGHER up on your chest."

I would have taken her up on it and asked for a deal!:thumbsup2
..................................................................................................

Well fitted bras are HARD to come by! I went bra shopping after I was done nursing TINK... I literally spent hours and hours being fitted. Now that I have "MY" bras that work, I buy one in every color about once a year. Small fortune, but SOOO worth these 38DDD's staying north! :)

My Farewell BBQ for my "brother" went well. I felt a bit left out in my own home. No one offers to help with the food, so I run around and cook and clean up. While my "guests" all sit and visit. I don't see many of the cousins and uncle and aunts who came, very often... but they all see each other. I am never invited to anything though... Since my "mom" has been gone I feel like I pretty much have lost my whole family.

It really doesn't fell very good. :sad1:

I am going to help my "brother" pack tomorrow and Wednesday we are having just the immediate family for a steak dinner. He wants one more good steak before he doesn't get one until after Christmas.

All the bra talk is cracking me up! Turns out the 2 bras I bought friday were weird fits and I'm gonna go back tomorrow and exchange them. One is supposed to be the same as like 5 other bras I have but wouldn't fit the around part but the cup seems to just fit. I think I might need to go up a size...which means a staggering F and I dunno how I feel about that. But if it fits better.... We shall see tomorrow.

Auuugggg!

:duck: MEN!

CARPITY CARP CARP CARP

I just finished posting that last post and got a phone call. They said they'd be here between 4-5. Yeah, they're 45 minutes away (it's 2:30). Forget the hardwood! Gotta go shower!!!

CARP!!!!!!!!!!!

I probably won't be on until tomorrow night - we will be with them all day tomorrow, too. Have a great Saturday night!!!

I hope you had fun anyway!!

Gatorland looks interesting.....

DH saw Gatorland on the net and that's where we are going before we check in at WDW. I hope it is worth the money.
Lime Green Undies - You go Focker!!

Maybe they are crying to get out :rotfl:

If mine got out everyone else would be crying!

MEL:banana:

CRAZY CHICK MAGNET :lmao: And I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for you!

OMG. If I would seriously have problems getting frick and frack measured. The poor sales lady would have to lift them up to measure them. Actually, we would need a lifter and then a measurer to get an approximation of regis and Kelly lee.

And don't you just love the mammograms. Yeah go ahead-heave ho-and crank that baby down. Make em' even flatter than they already are. I think the nurse sprained her arm trying to lug them up on that platform.

Katt - How's the bachelor fish doin'? The poem for DD was fantastic.

Jen2 - I'm glad Jon is better.

Dawn and Janet - :hug:

Jo - Loved the Flat Rosie Show.

Lessa - If you are more excited about work than him that should tell you something. Now he'll have to redo the whole future plan. You just set him back a day.

TE - Hope your bum is better and your biscuits are fluffy. (Sounds kinda perverted, doesn't it.:laughing: )

-------------------------------------------------
The weekend went well. Absolutely beautiful weather here. During my 3 days of working the house did manage to stay clean. Of course I threatened the DH with banishment if he didn't keep it that way. Sat. I spent most the day getting food ready. Supper for 7 is a tall order. I turned around from the kitchen counter at one point and this is what I saw in the dining room...
FoodCatsandKids001-1-1.jpg

I guess Queenie was bored and decided to take it out on a stuffed toy.

Here is my BFF and Me.

BFF came bearing wine. She's a gud friend. (Buzzism)

Her daughters live on their cells - text, text, text. The phones were forgotten when they saw my neighbors' horses. Then they had to see their hogs. City folk:rotfl: My neighbor said, "They aren't around animals very much, are they?" What makes you say that??? This was a good day in ZPS zone or things might have been different. I didn't have my camera. I'll have them send me some of there pics.

I had a blast. I wish they lived closer.

Ab says the rich girls on MTV get **** jobs for their 16th birthday.:eek: i think she's just hoping to scare me so much that the belly button ring will seem relatively nothing!;)
It's all the the WAY you LOOK at it... I guess:confused3 given the choice between larger chest and belly ring... The ring would win... BUT My answer to Sara would be... "you are Not on MTV... and we don't live in California.. and the Belly will stay the way GOD and the OBGYN left it after you were born"
Is it cold there, Katt? It rained this evening and it's sweatshirt weather!
No it "WAS" not... we did not get the rain.

I do HATE MINE.. I will not run unless my kids need me.... if I'm being chased though... I'll just turn and fight.. rather than run... Causes too much stop and stare as I have to keep trying to see where I am going as my B O O B S keep blocking my view.:lmao:

Of Course I'll be over there to read in a little bit.. Not that you have visited mine:snooty: . And we know Mel that you would NEVER Pimp your TR's

All of you and your big bosoms. I am lucky to fit into a B cup. It is hard for me to find bras because once you are as heavy as me the whole bra making world thinks you should have size Ds and I just do not. If I was skinny I swear they would be so small I would look like a 12 year old boy.

Orange is NOT a color in the Dutch flag. Team uniforms for the Netherlands are orange becuase it's the official color of the royal family. I looked it up.

Is this why the Australian uniforms are green & yellow? :confused3

Oh this is so bad and I need hugs from you all. I told P parents that she needed some preschool. We talked and I figured they would put he in a half day program some place and then they came in today and said they were putting her in a full day home daycare/preschool. I am just numb and sad and feel like someone is taking my child. I have cared for her since she was 10 months old. Her and my son are best friends. She loves me but to the parents I am just the sitter. My son and her will not see each other any more. I know some will say oh ya they will have play dates but I know in my heart it will not happen. The two of them have been asking for a play date for months now and her parents do not plan one. They never seemed to like me. They knew I took good care of P but never cared for me as a friend. KWIM. I just feel like I am going to die inside.

We have been to Gatorland twice. Our kids liked it. I was terrified the whole time. Creepy Gators!
I also have Lime Green Undies. Great pic of you and your BFF!

Sunday School Class asked bout you yesterday.. and your kid. :)

Thanks Katt! That is so sweet. I'm doing well and SD is sleeping. I'm not sure how he is though. When I woke up his light was on low (he has a dimmer) and his door was just resting shut on the frame. I wonder if he had a panic attack last night and was up reading and then fell asleep again. I don't want to wake him and ask....:confused3

It's freezing here! It's 54 degrees right now and it only got to the high 60's yesterday. I wanted to take the kids to the wave pool but it is TOO cold. I hope it gets nicer...
The IL's called Sat and said they'd be here in 3 or 4 days (totally wigging me out since we're leaving soon and I have TONS of stuff to do) though Bob told them that Sept was better. Then they called yesterday and said they'd be here in Sept. WTH? I'm so sick of them, and they aren't even here yet.

I am planning on doing some packing today, paying my bills and organizing the pantry. When the kids are home it gets a bit :scared1: in there!!!

What are you guys doing!? Where's CE? I wanna know how her weekend went.

MEL:banana:

Sorry you didn't get to spend more time with the family :hug:.

LOL Margie! I wish I had that problem. My 'girls' are each the size of a 12 year old boy....

So do you guys hate writing cover letters as much as I do? I am just not good at talking myself up and signing my own praises.
Yep, it's so hard to say what's great about you isn't it!

Nana's bff brought over a roll today. I think this is bad when guests need to bring their own toilet paper.
OMG :rotfl2:

All caught up !!
Jo I do too have a BOTTOM!!!:rotfl2: Did you have mint sauce with the lamb???
Phew good :rotfl2: I didn't have mint sauce but David did!

Yes, I'll take the upper floor of the big castle near you--aren't you members or something??
No that ran out a few months ago and we're not renewing!

It's a caravan or nothing!:snooty:
Ooooooh :snooty: :rotfl2:

but it feels GREAT! It pushes up and in and doesn't poke nasty wires under my armpits! Got free panties too which did make me feel good!
Sounds great, did I just say that about TE's bra? :rotfl2:

Most women supposedly do not wear the right bra.. and MOST ARE HAPPY :banana: to go UP A SIZE... HOWEVER.. I :yay: When mine go Down
Me too :rotfl2:

TE: Funny bra-related story. I was at the lake with Gus while he did swimming lessons last week. This woman comes up to me (she looked INSANE-hair all askew. Try it, it's lovely :thumbsup2

I'm so sorry Jen, I'm sure they don't mean it :hug:

If mine got out everyone else would be crying!
Sorry but :rotfl2: Looks like you had a great time with your BFF!

Been doing some WDW training, we took the girls on the 5 ish mile walk we do and we did it in 1 hour and 50 mins with no moaning :yay:

Margie, this :hug: is for you.

I have a short story to tell you. When I was 18, Bob took a job in Peoria, IL. I had just graduated HS and went with him (Boston to IL) I got a job as a full time nanny/housekeeper for two bank managers. Two little boys, 6 and 8. I ended up PG during the summer after I had been with them for a little over 6 months. I told the dad that once it got close to January (this was August..) I'd like to meet again to discuss time off for the baby. They fired me two weeks later with no notice. When I asked why, they said that they were disturbed by how attached their boys were to me. I guess they told them that I'd need some time off for the baby and they were upset. I tried to write to them, send them Xmas cards for years. They all came back unopened. Basically, the long and short of it is, people do weird carp. They hire someone who will STAND IN for them, and then don't understand when their children LOVE that person. You are hurting now and you have every right to hurt. Try your best to stay in touch and in the end, know that it's not your fault. :lovestruc
MEL

Good Morning all. HAPPY MONDAY! Yes, I said HAPPY MONDAY. Do you know why? Becasue this is my last week of work before leaving for WDW:banana: :banana: :banana:

I will be off from August 16th to September 10th. Am I happy...You betcha!:thumbsup2

Let's see what I remember....

TE - I figured it was the doctor's order to get him weighed cause when my dad asked the 2 nurses that were doing it they sort of just rolled their eyes and shrugged their shoulders, like we're with you buddy.

All the talk about bras has me :rotfl2:

Since Jo isnt's letting us use the caravan TE, she did promise the hose so we'd have running water:thumbsup2

OK, I don't know if it is girl thing or I am just stupid (DOn't anyone anwer that!) but what are Webkinz?

Kristel - Looks like you had alot of fun with your friend:thumbsup2

Lessa - Good luck with cover letter. I absolutely despise writing them. I believe there are several places on the web that will at least show you some samples!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Random Olympic thoughts before I dig in to research...
Dara Torres is my freaking HERO! :cool1:
How come the guys aren't all wearing the full RZR swimsuits?
Rather like the proverbial chicken/egg conundrum: Are all beach volleyball players flat chested becuase they play beach volleyball, or do only flat-chested women get interested in beach volleyball? :confused3
Orange is NOT a color in the Dutch flag. Team uniforms for the Netherlands are orange becuase it's the official color of the royal family. I looked it up.
Do the male gymnasts seem a bit more butch this year than previous years, or is it just me?
I'm sure I'll have more as the Games of the 29th Olympiad continue. :rolleyes:
Here's my question....What are the Chinese doing to our National Anthem? It sounds TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!
WIll do. Just talked to mom. Dad is eating and trying to figure out why the nurses woke him up in the middle of the night to weigh him:confused3 WIll know more tomorrow when all thesting is going to take place:thumbsup2
Glad he's doing better, Janet. :goodvibes
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Good morning Fockers, and thank you all for the birthday wishes. It was a good weekend. Quiet, which is nice, and DH had stayed up late all last week doing all of his homework so he didn't have any to do. :love:

Janet, enjoy your last five days of work.

T, congrats on the new fridge.

::yes:: She even promised a hose so we'd have running water:lmao:

:rolleyes: :rotfl:

So do you guys hate writing cover letters as much as I do? I am just not good at talking myself up and signing my own praises. :headache:

::yes:: I copied one off the net and just changed what needed to be changed (like Janet suggested...)

People still buy CD's???? I haven't bought a CD in years...I download EVERYTHING and I hardly pay either (sssshhhh).

I do, but it's because I'm weird and actually like owning the original with all the cover art and what not. Same goes with DVDs. But that's only if I know I'll like the CD. I am so not buying a CD for 1 or 2 songs I like.

It's a caravan or nothing!:snooty:

Yeah! :snooty:

Ok totally :rotfl2: about the bra discussion. My bra has creaked too, but usually because it was just washed and hasn't adjusted properly. :confused3
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So did anyone else see the totally awesome Men's Swimming Relay race last night? :hyper: That was so totally great!!!!
Oh and book recommendation. I've been reading a hilarious book called "Boy Meets Girl" by Meg Cabot (she wrote the Princess Diaries). It's not a YA (young adult) book and is so funny.
It's written in the form of emails, IMs, phone calls, etc. I dunno I liked it, she did a similar book called the Boy Next Door or something, but they're not related just written in the same format.
