Hey! You snuck up on me! I just knew you were posting as I was!!! Rascal!

Anyway, so once the surgery is over and you wake up you'll know what the doctor has determined cancer-wise? Oh man, I'm sorry. I'm sure it's stressful to have to wonder until then. I'll be saying prayers for it to just be nothing but a cyst.

They took some blood today to do a tumor marker test that can possibly determine if it's cancer beforehand, but I don't think it's 100% reliable, so I'm not counting on that. Thanks for the prayers! I definitely covet them!

Gotcha. Well, have a nice dinner with your friend. :goodvibes

It will be nice to just sit with a friend for awhile, you know? I'll definitely be back on later tonight though.

G-Luv: Awwwww she's adorable :cutie:

Look at Jon all proud :goodvibes

and your brother looks like one of my cousins (except thinner).

That's good to hear Jodi, here's hoping your pain free until then! :wizard:

Thanks, Z. I hope I'm pain free too! But my doctor is wonderful! She actually gave me her home, cell and pager phone numbers so that I can call her directly if I'm having pain. I'm so glad I waited to have her do the surgery!

That baby is adorable!! Jon looks so cute holding her!!

Jodi, I am so glad you got to speak to your regular doctor. Bill and I will be praying for you to have a quick recovery. We have to have a drink at Ip-Dip!!

Jodi, I'm glad you finally have a plan of action. Have fun with your friend at dinner.

G-Luv, Addison is so adorable and so little! princess:

I love our new smilie! :yay:

So, how does someone become a Focker? Is there an initiation? Do you have to be voted on? What is the criteria? :rotfl:

Baby is a beauty! What a cute crop of kids!

Jodi- Glad your surgery has a date

I am so in love with the Focker smilie

I went to work this afternoon (as a sub teacher) and loved it, except that I had stinky bologna for lunch. I was having problems with all the farting. The kids were being so good that I couldn't just let them slide. I thought my head would pop off. And the lesson? Liquid, to gas, to soild :sad2:

My DD6 was watching tv with me a few minutes ago and we saw a portrait.

I asked her~ "Who is that?"
she says~ "Haberham Lincoln"
I was impressed
I ask ~"What was he?"
She says ~"The President"
I ask~ "Of what?"

She says" Um.. The Penny?"

OK, I missed nearly 20 pages yesterday and the first half of today. I read a few back around the 164 mark, but whatever's happened since then, I know nothing. Someone fill me in on anything big, please! :goodvibes

We went to the lake with our friends yesterday. I need to get the boys in bed, but I'll post more about it later. :sad2: It was not my favorite day, even though I love my friends.

Today was just crazy with errands and stuff. I didn't mean to be gone most of the day, but I was, and the boys are in the "really tired from being in school all day" breakdown mode.

I haven't had dinner, so I'm putting them to bed now, and eating, and then I'll stop back by.

Thanks to all those who missed me on my TR (and heck, maybe even here) - you all are the best. :grouphug:

Darn it, I was getting used to the spanking idea :rotfl2:.

Thanks for the welcome!!

I guess I should introduce myself. I am Tracy, aka Mrsk. We live in Southern Illinois. I live with my wonderful boy friend who happens to have Cerebral Palsy and is in a wheelchair. He has a wicked sense of humor and introduced me to the wonderful world of Disney, now I am totally and completely addicted!!

Witchy poo is really an idiot. So the deal was at the end of August no more splitting my time, the Transition would be over. I was also told, well hinted to me, that witchy poo's department was moving to a new building in September that would be that. Witchy poo found out last week about the move. 10 minutes after she gets in today she comes to tell me about the move and that I am moving with them.

me: Um, does my new VP know about that.
her: Oh yes, she knows
me: well that doesn't make sense
her: my VP is fully aware of it too.
me: keep my mouth shut at this point

Later on I'm in with my VP and she brings it up, You know you are not moving right?
me: I figured, but someone needs to tell her, as she thinks I am and that I am still working for her.
VP - getting mad, I will handle this
me: ok

10 minutes later

VP - I called her VP, his understanding has always been you aren't moving. He will make this clear to her.

:yay:

her VP did ask if I would help out a little when I could and not wanting to appear not to be a team player I said ok.

The good news is they have finally got the head hunter vetting replacements for me. Of course that means witchy poo will have another poor soul to do the work.:sad2:

Hi, Tracy. I think I asked you at some point where in IL on someone's TR, because I am from Champaign Co. originally. I still visit my parents there all the time. I tend to miss the midwest. ;)

Anyway, I'm CE, have 6 year old twins, Buzz & Woody, and live in NH now. :wave2:

HI CE. We were worried about you. Drama at the lake:confused3 popcorn::

It wasn't even drama - I'll explain in a minute.

Witchy poo is really an idiot.

Oh, dear god. I'm glad you're getting out of her clutches!

No, it was just a long LONG weekend, if you KWIM. We had the neighborhood gathering at a lake about an hour away on Sat. That was fun, but a long day.

Sunday we had the cookout at D's coworker's friends' house - so it was pretty fun, but a little stressful as I knew no one but D's coworker, you know?

Then yesterday we were invited to go boating with our really good family friends - the ones we do all the holidays with, the wife is back to work as an airline pilot, as some of you may remember? Anyway, I hadn't seen her since the week school got out, so I was happy to go.

I just hate the way they "boat". :rotfl:

They have a nice little motor boat. When I'm on a boat, I like to GO. The wind in my hair, the bumps as we do waves, just the going.

Our friends go and park. :confused3 I wouldn't mind a little bit of stopping to swim or whatever, but here's what happened:

We were going to meet at the state park beach at the south end of the lake, because John (the DH's) brother was visiting, so technically we were one too many for the boat's capacity. There's a nice little beach with a boat lane where you can pick up/drop off passengers, etc.

So we got there about noon and it was just blowing nearly gale force winds. :rotfl2: The forecast had said 80 and sunny, and it WAS, but it was also probably only about 60 with the wind chill. Everyone had on jackets and pants, the kids wouldn't go in the water, etc., etc. We were watching the foot high waves (unheard of on this quiet lake) and the whitecaps and knowing we're not boating.

But, John, D, and the brother went to check out the conditions at the marina, which is on the exact other side of the lake.

They came puttering along after a while, saying it was perfect up on the north side.

OK.

So we packed everything up and drove up to meet them at the marina. It was probably 2:30 before we even got ON the boat.

I was hoping for an earlier evening, since we had school, many late nights, D had to fly this morning, etc.

So then we went 5 minutes away from the marina :headache: and parked on a sand bar. The kids were in about ankle deep water, so they had fun splashing around, but we just sat. And sat. Not deep enough to really swim. I waded for a bit. We talked, but Deb's BIL is not terribly social (in fact, her DH, his brother, thinks he probably has Asberger's, it's just not something that was diagnosed 40 years ago) and so whilst Deb & I were trying to have a nice little gossip, he was sitting on the boat with a towel over his head. :confused3 It was just a little weird and uncomfortable.

Anyway, after nearly 3 hours, John decided it was time to pack up. And we headed the 5 minutes back to the marina, when suddenly John & D decided it was time to water ski. At 6:00 in the evening. When all the kids are wet and cold and it's dinner time. Swell.

So they did, and then Woody got up, which was pretty cool! :thumbsup2 But we didn't get off the boat until nearly 7:00. No dinner, still having to drive 1 1/2 hours home.

So by then I knew we were really going to be late, so why not stop as a group for dinner? We stopped at a little diner we love, but it was getting pretty late and the kids weren't on their best behavior, and then we still had an hour to get home.

It wasn't awful, and I know I sound ungrateful for griping about a nice day out with friends, but it was just all a little annoying, you know? And if it had been Saturday and not Monday, I might have been better at going with it all, but it was the end of a long few days. ;)

Sorry, I just needed to vent that out. :grouphug:
