CE: SOOOOO CUTE!!!

Thanks! :goodvibes

The TV is nice, but a little blurry up close. Dish network said I would probably want to upgrade to Hidef ($125). We'll see.

We're still figuring out the settings for the regular cable channels, but you got the LCD not plasma, right? We really can't leave the black sidebars up, or they'll "burn in" on the plamsa, so we have to go to "Wide Fit" with the P.SIZE remote button. I think it looks a not quite as crisp stretched out, so I know what you mean.

But the true HD channels are beautiful to behold, I have to say. Since we have cable I think it added about $12/month for those.

OMG CE they're so cute and one is so you and the other so DH :goodvibes BTW what time do they normally go to bed? I bet they like staying up till 8pm :rotfl2:

Thanks! When D's gone, I can usually get them in bed by 7:15/7:30 because we eat quickly and early. When he's home it's more like 8:00. But this will be OUT until 8:00 and still need to get ready, etc. They'll be thrilled! :rotfl2:

The girls are at choir and as it's so gorgeous we cycled down, trouble is I had to cycle back home and then go get them again :rotfl2:

Did you cycle back, or take the car to pick them up?

Our luggage arrived yesterday do Im trying to get some :laundy: done.It may take me forever:rotfl2:

Ugh. Have fun! I felt like we had a TON coming back from TN, but I think it was because the weather was on the bubble, so we wore EVERYTHING.

Thanks! :goodvibes

Monday -
I took the kids to DHS. We did Playhouse Disney first, then Little Mermaid. Ds7 wanted to ride some rides, so he chose Great Movie Ride. We got on and as we were leaving the "Wizard of Oz" room, the ride broke down. We had to walk out of the ride.
Then we went to do Indiana Jones - another ds7 request and they had already closed the gate and wouldn't let anyone in.

We planned on going to see Muppets. As we were walking, we passed a CM who had some pins and I asked ds if he wanted to ask the CM to see the pins. He said no, but the CM heard me and stopped. He chatted with us and I told him how we had to walk off GMR and that ds7 wanted to ride ToT, but wouldn't do it by himself. He chatted with us some more and then told ds that he would take him on ToT if he could answer a ToT question.
How tall is ToT? Well, when we got stopped on GMR, the CM there told us how tall ToT is. I couldn't remember, but ds did. So he told the CM 199 feet. We were between Indiana Jones and Star Tours and the CM walked us all the way over to ToT and took ds through the fast pass line. It made his day.

When we left the park, I stopped at Guest Services to leave a note for the CMs manager.

Since our last trip, the parade has changed to a Block party. We were leaving the park as the block party was going on, but it looks like a lot of fun.

Tuesday -
We went to MK. We got there right when they opened the park, but were at the back of the crowd. By the time we got to Dumbo, it was already a 30 minute wait. We rode Peter Pan, Dumbo, then headed over to Toon Town.
We rode Goofy's Barnstormer 6 times in a row. This was dd3's first time riding it and she loved it. They kept asking to ride again and again. After 6 times, I told them that was it.

Baby Girl likes to pin trade, so I gave her 2 pins. She wants to trade with everyone. So once she gets a pin, she usually only has it a few minutes. Two different CMs gave her pins and did not make her trade. I thought that was nice. And we were walking through the Noodle Station and there were 2 CMs talking. I don't know why, but she just stopped in front of them and looked at them like she had a question. I told the CMs I had no idea why she stopped and we didn't need anything. One of them said, "I know why you stopped." And he gave her a Tinkerbell Year of a Million Dreams pin.

Another food change at MK - Casey's corner changed their hot dogs to the regular size ones. Mr Diz was not happy to hear this because he loved those foot long hot dogs at Casey's.

I cycled back, I wouldn't be abale to get their bikes in the back of the car :rotfl2: It was the choir masters birthday and as a treat he bought all the kids a choc ice (ice-cream bar covered in chocolate) so we ended up getting home much later than normal as they couldn't cycle and eat ice-cream at the same time :rotfl2:

That is some crazy stuff. All that clutter would make me nuts Disney themed or not:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I must be turning into my mother because those cluttered rooms were giving me a stomach ache.

OK...First...great on all of the pixie dust!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Second...Casey's did WHAT??? That was our meal. We shared a hot dog and some fries and a diet coke (very balanced). That was our THING. WTHeck did they go and do that for? Did they drop the price because you're getting less wiener?

I love the "Pixie Dust" ..Magic Moments with the CM's.
It's easier when they are Younger and CUTE!! Somedays they really seem to be in the "wish" granting mood.

Anyone else still up?? I'm surfing around while KC plays GTA4.[/COLOR]
Oh I see your a GTA4 widow as well! :lmao: DH is playing that right now.
Jess got upset last night, they've recently done tests at school and in English she got a really good result, only her and 1 other girl got that score, well first she came in saying that I will be so proud of her and the next minute she says some other girls were being nasty and calling her a geek  I said it's because they're jealous etc and to ignore them, girls :headache: But she was right I was proud of her
Do I need to fly out to Kent and get ghetto on some chicks?
Tell Jess, I think that's fantastic!:thumbsup2
I'm sure I mentioned it. Mr Diz had a conference in Orlando on Monday and Tuesday, so we all drove up on Saturday. We stayed at the hotel where the conference was. While he worked on Mon and Tues I took the kids to the parks.
Hmmm... must have missed that. Way to get a trip in there though! :thumbsup2
Morning Fockers! My baby's 6 today! I get to celebrate, too, since I think it a major accomplishment that I helped get him this far!
Congrats to making it this far, V! 6 is an interesting age - you'll see. I think I really appreciate this age. They're little adults with serious thoughts, ideas and questions. :goodvibes
NEVER NEVER tweak a powerpoint:sad2:
Pfft! now you tell me! :headache:
So, have a fun weekend and Happy Mother's Day! :grouphug:
Same to you, Dawn. :goodvibes
The funeral was lovely, I got through a ton of tissues and made sure I took my sunglasses with me :rotfl2: Her DD (11) was incredible, so brave and strong (just like her Mum was) I don't think she cried and she even lit a candle and placed on her coffin :sad1: The lady (Jodi 38 y/o) whos funeral it was had been battling cancer for several years, she had organised her own funeral and had written a book with messages to lots of people and a Mummy Manual for her DD as she gets older, some excerts (sp?) of these were read out and OMG they were so moving, lots more tissues were required :rotfl: She was buried in a beautiful spot underneath a tree and at least she's out of pain now!
Sounds very sad, but lovely - Jo. I'm sorry for your loss.
So I forgot to babble about my day! :rotfl:
I was wondering what was going on.
;)

Here's the pic of them in their uniforms for the opening parade last Friday:

No, I'm still out work. (is that the proper English response?)
:rotfl2: Well you could say I'm out of work or I'm jobless or if you're really chavvy (our rednecks) you say I'm on the dole, to rhyme with coal not as in dole whip :rotfl2:

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

A group of kids just walked by and stared because I'm in my office cracking up...
