I must let everyone know!!!!

I got a 90 on my test, and the teacher does not give an A so I guess that means I got the highest possible score!

My final grade looks to be a B for the class...

WOOOHOOO!! I thought for sure I would fail!!

And I read another mention of these Twighlight books.... I have heard a lot about them from my best friend but I passed them off as dorky. I grouped them in the same level with Harry Potter, Narnia, Lord of the Rings and those type of books. I know a lot of people love those, but I just can't get into fantasy. I prefer James Patterson, Lisa Gardner etc. But I keep hearing more and more about this series. I think I am going to pick them up and take them to the beach with me when I leave on the 23rd. They are worth a try. I am going to try to be open minded about this!!

I came back and set my credit card on the table in our lounge, wrapped in my sheet that I had orders written on. I got up...left the lounge...and forget to pick up that sheet and my cc.

I realized it when I got home.

So, I jet back to school...go straight to the lounge...because in my mind...I must have thrown it out. So, I begin to dig in the trash. The yucky, gross trash. It's not in there.

So, I go grab our custodian. We head out to the dumpster, because he says he did empty the trash right after lunch. I dig through the dumpster with him for 45 minutes. The dumpster...with all of the lunch of the day...etc. from our whole school. We don't find it and I go home and cancel my cc.

I get back to school the next morning and our secretary comes up to me and says that she found my cc on the table wrapped in my order sheet. DOH! I never looked on the table...and I was right in that room digging through the trash.

BTW Fockers...I updated MY TR yesterday. Just sayin'...:rolleyes1

Your story made me do a :crazy2: Then a :rotfl2:
Why are our keys ALWAYS UNDER OUR NOSES and we not see them. I solved my problem so far by attaching one of my "Focker" lanyards to me keys. With the Lime green color and the length.. I can always find them .:goodvibes

Good Morning Fockers!:goodvibes

NO SCHOOL TODAY!!! :woohoo: I had my dental final yesterday, so today is my day off. I start my last modular tomorrow!! I'm soooo excited.
you know .. in college I was a "Dental School Student" guiney pig.. I got her through years 2-4. All the dental work I can stand for 100.00. :rotfl:
That was a root canal, crown, cleanings, filling re-do's. Pulled wisdom teeth( only had two of those) and a few assorted fillings.

I have another announcement to make: Evan gave up his paci yesterday!! The dentist will be so proud! Let's see he's 3yrs/9mos. - YICKES! It did cost me a new Thomas train and new tracks, but just think of ortho bills he may have saved me. :rolleyes1
I think that was the age both of mine gave their up.. somewhere around age 3.
For Joshua it was a little longer and it was a "Thomas" set or add-on I for get which.
Sarabeth... I do not even remember but it was a bribe. And the "PA-PA Fairy" :rolleyes1 would give her something for tuning in all the "Pa-Pa's".
Hey you do what you have to do.
Got my trip to "Wally World" Over with for the week today too !!:woohoo:

Last weekend was the AP preview for Toy Story at MGM, so after a lovely brunch at Epcot, we took the boat over to check it out. Arriving at the ride entrance, there was a mass of people, not a line, a mass. :scared1: The CM's were checking ID's and AP's diligently which I have never seen them do before at a preview. Finally getting through the shrubbery that keeps the slugs out, :rolleyes1 we're on our way to que up. :thumbsup2
IMGP1074.jpg

The actual line went pretty quickly however, I was a little slower since I was taking pictures. A mother and her child actually passed us while I stopped to take a picture. We will all get there ma'am. The theming was well done with a Candy Land path on the floor, Scrabble and checkers on the ceiling, and the BIG Tinker Toys, Barrel Full of Monkeys, and Lincoln Logs. Of course Mr. Potato Head was a big hit too!

There are steps to go up and then to go down to get in your buggie, I'm not sure of the actual term for the cars. As we're waiting to board feeling like small toys in Andy's bedroom, we are looking up at the bed, the electrical outlets and all the other toys scattered around the room.

Then we're just outside the safety gate ready to board,

and the ride breaks down! "Ladies and gentlemen, please go back the way you came. The ride has broken down and we don't know when it will reopen." :headache: We did receive a fast pass to came back but we didn't have time to wait. So someone else will have to finish the review! :goodvibes

So, I finally told witchy poo, Buh bye! At first she was so gracious, I was like um where did the real witchy poo go:confused: , but as the day wore on and she realized how many people knew before and the impact to her personally I sensed some anger. Oh well, I'm on to bigger and better things.:yay:

So- I guess we're going to the Orthodontist today in 2 hours. Baylie's been having a lot of jaw pain, so she asked to go today instead of tomorrow. I hope this will help the jaw problem. I hate for my baby to be in pain. :guilty:
Hope all goes well

Anyone want to buy some golf clubs? They're going cheap :rotfl2: Today was our Spring Meeting (big competition) and I so wanted to do well! I started with an 8 so that wasn't good. I then did OK until the 13th hole where I managed to hit some trees, 6 to be exact, I even had to duck on one shot as the ball hit a tree and shot over my head  Stop laughing :rotfl2: Anyway I ended up playing 8 over my handicap, won no prizes (BTW the prizes were gross anyway but could be returned) and I'm so stressed as I know David will start analysing everything :headache: But it was lovely and sunny, very windy though, so I topped up my tan :rotfl2:

Now look at it from a distance, who do you see????

Weird huh!

WOW

What Number "Wood" was you using when you hit those trees.??
Maybe this was a close to his relatives as he had been since he was MURDERED and taken from his family. So the Club deliberately drove the ball into the trees... Trying to catch their attention... just wanting to say hello Yup... I bet that was it ;)

When I saw you were "selling the clubs" I wondered what had happened.
Maybe you were too tense ... or were you not tense enough....
either way... I am betting "sneezing " is to blame.

I could not stand it any longer :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

You'll do better next time.. Just an off day. Even Tiger Woods has off days.:goodvibes

We're back.Baylie survived.
She's eating soup and drinking a shake right now. She tried to nibble on a few soft fries, but it was too sore.
We stopped at two friends' houses to show them. I took pics against her will ( Mom of the year, right here! :lmao: ), and I promised I wouldn't share those. I think I'll do an update on the blog with the after pics later today.

Janet- It doesn't bother me :thumbsup2 , but you'll have to wait to visit the blog until the TR is over. The spolier has to do with the last day. Sorry about that. :confused3

I do not remember being that sore. ( but that was 32 years ago)
I wanted them so bad I do not think I even noticed the pain if it was there.
I even put the Smaller bands on my mouth because I could feel the teeth moving quicker... must have worked.. they came off in 20 months just in time for my Sophomore Pictures,

Joshua needs braces BADLY... and would have to have teeth pulled. We would have to sedate to pu them on. Not sure how well he would handle the pain.

We were told she needs them for 2 years. We're hoping she can get them off in time for her 13th Bday. Grandma promised she would buy her contacts for her 13th Bday too. So, she'll be lookin' like a super model then! :thumbsup2
I can't believe she actually told her grandma in the phone that they are cute! This is the girl who cried when she was told she had to get them. :sad2:

Awfully quiet around here today!!!!

Anyone out there????

It's my peaceful tuesday...updating the TR...eating leftovers from yesterday...and watching old tv shows from the coolest new site I found (surfthechannel.com), they take a while to load but once they do watching is easy!!! I'm hooked.

How is everyone else???

I am unfortunately having to visit the in-laws on Thursday. I'm not too thrilled esp. since his mom gave us crap about not being there mother's day (he worked and i didn't celebrate it at all)...should be fun...:sad2:

HI Kat...

Maybe your MIL will warm up to you AFTER you give her a grandchild :confused3

I was married to Scott for 7 years before I was really "Accepted" by my MIL.
I was preggers with Joshua Dec 1994.. married 7 years... and she called up and basically apologized. She was against our marriage as I was a "rebound" . Scott was engaged for over a year when it broke off... and he looked for me the next week.. did not find me for 3 months.. did not "date for 3 months after that. But he did talk about me.

She never thought we would work out. Oddly enough.. the other two kids.. are on second marriages.
Honestly... she had bone cancer.. prognosis was not good.. I just think she was trying to clear her conscious and her soul.

So give it time .. They can get a little testy about "their holidays" and when they don't have to share it they probably feel like they OWN it.

I keep saying that to KC actually... but then it'll be a whole new set of drama because then I'd be inviting them to my house since I plan to stay around for the holidays once i have a baby (hopefully in the next few years).

I like my in-laws they are ok. They are just very detached type of people, never really expressing their feelings and thats hard for me because I'm a talk-it-out kinda gal. She will never apologize to me for anything because it would be expressing a feeling.

When we first met they didn't like me, because of the age difference and I'm figuring because I'm not Hispanic. It took us over a year to let me be allowed in his home, we used to live in Starbucks stores because we could sit and actually spend some time. Then when I moved into their building it got a bit better but not really, and when he decided to stay in the building with me when they moved, it was a drama. She wouldn't even let him take his own TV or bed in hopes that we'd break up and he'd come home. She called their 2nd bedroom (the office actually) "KC's Room" until after we were married. when we told them we were getting married she gave him a ring to give me (she collects jewelery) and that was a big step but never any words. they came to the wedding, gave us a CD worth a lot of $ but it has never really felt like I was a part of the family. Even still. They tend to overlook that I have an entire side of the family to visit and keep in touch with, and to me its selfish on their part. I deal because I love my husband, but talking to his mom is like speaking to a wall. One sided conversation and repeats of the same stuff over and over.

Told ya I was a talker...sorry for the long windedness...Thanks for letting me vent

Nope not because of that :rotfl2:

It'll soon get better, I can remember my friends all getting me to say silly sausages after I got braces as it was hard to say :rotfl2: I was like Katt, I pulled my bands so tight to move my teeth quicker, it worked in 18 months instead of 24 :thumbsup2

She sounds just lovely  what is it with relations????

Talking of relations, MIL phoned about a week ago to say they would come down and visit, they only live 2 hours away and are both retired, the last time they came was on their way home from France 2 years ago :sad2: Well she phoned last night to say they don't feel well enough to come, yeah right, but when are we going there :headache: why does everyone expect us to go there :headache: Thing is I get grumpy that they don't come but I don't actually want them to come IYKWIM :rotfl2:
