thanks!! it's actually the only pic from last trip to wdw with me and all three kids. it's just so hard to get pics of everyone together with a 2 yr old. he just likes to run, run , run!!!

I am with you there. Joshua will probably be in HS till he is 21 which means that he and Sarabeth will graduate together. Not sure if that is good or bad
My brother stayed with MOM till she had her accident that took her life 2 1/2 months later. I had to place him in a care house,for which I caught HECK
( and I do not mean heck) from MOM for it. I had my two babies( ages 3 and 7) with me that summer. If Terry was placed then I could visit her more in the hospital and the Nursing home. Oddly or maybe not so... Terry died just short of two months after Mom died and I buried him next to Mom exactly 2 months after she died.

I worry what type of conditions Joshua would face at one of "THOSE" places, so most likely he will be with us forever. But we will cross that bridge when I get to it.

sorry you were faced with that decision. it's hard to have such a huge responsibility like that. but it doens't sound like there was much of a choice. it would have been hard enouch without having two small children. it would have been impossible for you to take care of your brother along with the kids. it seems like there are so many kids with autism these days. hopefully, there will be programs set up. i know of at least 1 college geared toward those with neurobiologic disorders , such as autism, adhd, ocd and others. i believe it is in upstate ny. have you ever heard of this?

I endured that situation for 1 month till Terry had to go to the hospital. Then he and Mom were in hospitals.. but not the same one. Then I placed him somewhere the next month.

i just know about it bc there was an ad in the spectrum publication. have you ever heard of this mag? it's actually pretty informative. usually has lots of ads for schools/ summer camps, etc. let me know if the link doesn't work.

I am having trouble deciding between the fairytale pink and make believe. I want to paint my tiny, little under-the-stairs office where I do my scrapbooking. I went to home depot today and guess what??!! They are planning to discontinue the Lime Green Mickey Head color! (Alien Green)

But, anyway, what color do you guys think? It's a pretty dark room and I just want it to look more inviting than the hole under the stairs that it is!

It's green, but not alien green. Not even Disney paint (but it's Depot paint, so I just happened to pick up a few extra samples...you know, in case he changed his mind I'll find a use for them, I'm sure.)

I lurked for the past few days but didn't post...but I really wanted to say thank you Mel. Seriously it touched me and I shed a little tear, i really appreciated you taking the time to say that!

We spent the day watching some Sopranos episodes while KC worked (same today so far). We ordered out Chinese and KC went and got me some Ice-Cream. I haven't had real ice cream in forever (Cherry Garcia is what we had).

I have been reading like a mad woman and watching a ton of book lots on ebay (I know step away from the ebay Kat!).

Today I am making some beef stew in the crock pot and watching Season 6 of The Sopranos. The weather has been horrendous, but i seems to be clearing up now.

Anyways just wanted to say HI...should have another update in my TR tomorrow too!

I'm scared that the trash can is where they ended up, and today was trash day! I'm so mad because my coach keychain that hubby bought me after the wedding to match the purse he bought me that day for smashing cake in my face. I know I can get another one no problem but that one was sentimental!!


I have checked in/under the couches, in all jacket pockets, my purse, workbag, in the shoes that are sitting around and under the bathroom sink!

The last place I saw them was hanging them up on the keyrack after work on friday... this could be bad.

Had it done by lunchtime. IT wasn't that it was a hard project or anything, but I hate feeling rushed, KWIM?

Sounds like everyone had enjoyable Mother's Days. We were under a tornado watch all day, and two or three touched down in south of Charleston. It made for an interesting day. Every time one of the boys would ask me what I wanted to do, we'd just look outside at the chucking down rain I'm not big into Mother's Day, so it was fine with me to stay here and do laundry.

Now I'm off to prime and paint #1's room.

I'm with you K. Mother's Day just isn't that important to me. We spent the day at the zoo which was nice, but no presents.
