Actually I was using an iron :rotfl2:

I got nothing.. guess it WAS just an OFF day.

Talking of relations, MIL phoned about a week ago to say they would come down and visit, they only live 2 hours away and are both retired, the last time they came was on their way home from France 2 years ago :sad2: Well she phoned last night to say they don't feel well enough to come, yeah right, but when are we going there :headache: why does everyone expect us to go there :headache: Thing is I get grumpy that they don't come but I don't actually want them to come IYKWIM :rotfl2:

KWYM... I wanted my inlaws to visit.. but it put so much pressure on me I did not want them to come. I OVER CLEANED.. and I know my MIL would check any and everything. To this day... if anyone is coming over... I clean the house like it is going on the market for sale and I am having an open house.
Really .. that's the way I wish I could keep it. But the kiddo's have too much junk.

Then we're just outside the safety gate ready to board,

IMGP1098.jpg

and the ride breaks down! "Ladies and gentlemen, please go back the way you came. The ride has broken down and we don't know when it will reopen." :headache: We did receive a fast pass to came back but we didn't have time to wait. So someone else will have to finish the review! :goodvibes
[/LEFT]
Oh crap! :eek: That really sucks... good thing you're not too far away, Angela. Hmmm... I think they're having some kind of lottery for AP previews here in DCA. They did that for Nemo, too - I didn't win. Ended up waiting over 2 hours to ride. :mad:

Hey you do what you have to do.
ITA! :thumbsup2
Woooohooo Evan, now can you get Ellie to stop sucking her fingers please :rotfl2:
Sure! Does she want a Thomas, too? :lmao: Show her teeth of finger sucks, that's what I did. I showed my kids the pictures on doctorspiller(dot)com and they freaked out! I never have to ask them to brush their teeth anymore! :lmao:

Anyone want to buy some golf clubs? They're going cheap :rotfl2: Today was our Spring Meeting (big competition) and I so wanted to do well! I started with an 8 so that wasn't good. I then did OK until the 13th hole where I managed to hit some trees, 6 to be exact, I even had to duck on one shot as the ball hit a tree and shot over my head :eek: Stop laughing :rotfl2: Anyway I ended up playing 8 over my handicap, won no prizes (BTW the prizes were gross anyway but could be returned) and I'm so stressed as I know David will start analysing everything :headache: But it was lovely and sunny, very windy though, so I topped up my tan :rotfl2:
:rotfl2: Sorry Jo, sounds like a story from Waldo!
O.M.G.

The twilight series is a major thing apparantly! I am number 48 on the list to get them from my library!

Now I have to get into this so I am going to go buy them tonight. Well at least the first one.
Target has it for $8.99 and I could only find Eclipse in hard cover for $13.99. My Target is sold out of New Moon for now - again only hard cover available.:thumbsup2
Have a look at this photo, who do you see?????

cid_image001_jpg01C8AEDC.jpg
Who are you supposed to see? :confused3 I only see MM with a mustache - darn contacts!

I am unfortunately having to visit the in-laws on Thursday. I'm not too thrilled esp. since his mom gave us crap about not being there mother's day (he worked and i didn't celebrate it at all)...should be fun...:sad2:
I feel for you Kat - I really do. :hug: My MIL gave me a bad time - she blamed me for everything and anything. She passed away the year before Maddie was born. I hope it gets better for you - it sure put a strain on our marriage. :sad2:

Too bad about the Toy Story ride. What a disappointment!

Kat - hugs to you. My mil and I got along pretty good when dh and I got married, then we couldn't stand each other. When dh and I moved out of town, it was for my job and I don't think she liked that. Made a comment, "Things sure have changed since I got married. Men never move for their wives." And she is supposed to be pro-women's movement, fairly liberal, and not old fashioned. Our last night in town, we asked if we could spend the night at their house because all of our furniture was packed up. They had a 4 bedroom house and only 1 child living at home. We got a sofa and loveseat with no blankets or sheets. They were not pullout sofa's, either. I was freezing and sent dh to look for something and he could only find sheets. She also started making rude comments to me. When we had our son - it was their first grandchild, we started getting along again. We talk several times a week now and she and my fil do a lot of nice things for us.

Tracy - Yayy for Evan getting rid of the paci!

Jo- I have no idea who I am supposed to be seeing up close or from a distance.

I see Albert Einstein in the pic, T - you see Mickey Mouse???

Kat - sorry about the In laws:hug:

HSM, hope the braces don't hurt much longer for DD

Angela that stinks about the preview.

So that makes me think, what is the new startegy when DHS opens, at rope drop I always went straight to ToT, should I head to Toy Story Mania first?

That's my plan. I had originally thought this would be a late start day, but since no P&PP the night before, I may just have to switch it up and bit and hit DHS early for TSM. Unless of course we make it to the opening at DCA. :confused: It's all so confusing. I keep changing my touring plans. Good thing I haven't laminated anything yet. BUT, I did have to buy more printer ink today. :teeth:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Speaking of the Twilight books... guess who's read it now???
:rolleyes1
WALDO! :lmao:
ETA: No Mo, I don't see Mickey Mouse! :rotfl2: I see Marilyn Monroe, but with a 'stache. :lmao:
Kat - :hug: for the inlaw problems.
Mo - I was wondering the same thing too:confused3
T - If you are anding out free Thomas toys, Jimmy has been doing great at bedtime;) :lmao:
Katt - I am disappointed, I so look forward toyour inappropriate references when Jo is talking about golf:rotfl2:
So I should tell KC its time to pop out a kid so we can all get along huh??? He will LOVE that idea.
I have another announcement to make: Evan gave up his paci yesterday!! :banana: The dentist will be so proud! Let's see he's 3yrs/9mos. - YICKES! It did cost me a new Thomas train and new tracks, but just think of ortho bills he may have saved me. :rolleyes1
WOOO HOOOTY!!! For you AND Evan! :hug: :hug:
I must let everyone know!!!!
I got a 90 on my test, and the teacher does not give an A so I guess that means I got the highest possible score!
My final grade looks to be a B for the class...
WOOOHOOO!! I thought for sure I would fail!!
And another WOOO HOOOOTY!!! Congrats! :thumbsup2
Last weekend was the AP preview for Toy Story at MGM, so after a lovely brunch at Epcot, we took the boat over to check it out.
Then we're just outside the safety gate ready to board,
and the ride breaks down!
Well, poop! :headache: Looks like a good one, though.
I then did OK until the 13th hole where I managed to hit some trees, 6 to be exact, I even had to duck on one shot as the ball hit a tree and shot over my head :eek: Stop laughing :rotfl2:
:rotfl2: I'm sorry Jo! :hug:
In-laws..... mine SUCKED. The worst. Told my then-DH I was "the devil." :sad2:
The BED has arrived!!!!!! And it took little time for the delivery guys to install, but teh rest of the day for me to reorganize Leo's room. Hence the lack of school work, DISing and TR writing.
Still, worth it no? ;)
He's been doing a lot of dinosaur "research" (his word!) at school lately - going through a dinosaur encyclopedia and writing down the names, drawing pictures in a notebook. So, as a surprise, I bought some reference books for his new desk: Pirate dictionary, NG animal encyclopedia, kids' level human anatomy and a book about horses. That last one is in place of the only request he had for his birthday...... a horse. :headache: Maybe riding lessons next year. :hug:
OMG! V!! That bed is just too stinkin cute! You have all the stuff arranged so cool. I especially love that 6 year old accessory!!! :)
Wow :eek: Putt putt sounds like a dangerous sport.
Ok, Jo, were you playing the blind mixed double thing again? Did you play with someone else's husband? Did you use his ball? How much did you sneeze?
ETA: No Mo, I don't see Mickey Mouse! :rotfl2: I see Marilyn Monroe, but with a 'stache. :lmao:
Now how I was I suppose to know you meant Marilyn Monroe.
Mo - I was wondering the same thing too:confused3
In-laws..... mine SUCKED. The worst. Told my then-DH I was "the devil." :sad2:
Possessed by Satan???
Talking of relations, MIL phoned about a week ago to say they would come down and visit, they only live 2 hours away and are both retired, the last time they came was on their way home from France 2 years ago :sad2: Well she phoned last night to say they don't feel well enough to come, yeah right, but when are we going there :headache: why does everyone expect us to go there :headache: Thing is I get grumpy that they don't come but I don't actually want them to come IYKWIM :rotfl2:
LOL! I feel EXACTLY the same way! My MIL called me today to tell me that they DID decide to buy points to add on to our DVC. They want 1000 dollars worth....Uh, Ok. You want 10 points? WTH? :confused:
Oh, and they decided to drive up (from FL) on the second week of June. Uh, hello......I'm going to be IN FLORIDA then!!!! Stupid!!!!!
--------------------------------------------------------
Kat: don't have babies just to please her! She'll get over it. Or she won't. Not your issue! :love:
Janet: HI! :wave:
Sorry if I'm forgetting anyone. You guys were crazy chatty! I spent 3 hours at the eye dr. today getting DS's eyes checked. THANK GOD, no Glaucoma or any medical eye issues for him. I am so paranoid, since I've had my problems....:sad2: And I got to pick out my new glasses and ordered them. It will be the first time my vision has stablized enough for them to get me to 20/20 with glasses. Without I am 20/50 in left eye and 20/80 in the right!!! :scared1: I CANNOT wait to SEE again!!! :goodvibes
Hope you guys are all having a great night!
Good Morning Fockers!
NO SCHOOL TODAY!!! :woohoo: I had my dental final yesterday, so today is my day off. I start my last modular tomorrow!! I'm soooo excited.
Glad to hear everyone had a restful Mother's Day! Got a lot to do today - Target, Costco & grocery shopping - BLECH!
TTYL!
how much longer until your'e done with school? contrats on giving up the paci!!! did you ever hear about or do the day out with thomas? we have one in our area the end of may. i can't wait to take my 2 yr old!! we took my 9 yr old when he was 3, now he's like , do i have to go? they grow up so fast.:sad1:
I must let everyone know!!!!
I got a 90 on my test, and the teacher does not give an A so I guess that means I got the highest possible score!
My final grade looks to be a B for the class...
WOOOHOOO!! I thought for sure I would fail!!
And I read another mention of these Twighlight books.... I have heard a lot about them from my best friend but I passed them off as dorky. I grouped them in the same level with Harry Potter, Narnia, Lord of the Rings and those type of books. I know a lot of people love those, but I just can't get into fantasy. I prefer James Patterson, Lisa Gardner etc. But I keep hearing more and more about this series. I think I am going to pick them up and take them to the beach with me when I leave on the 23rd. They are worth a try. I am going to try to be open minded about this!!
great job!!! :thumbsup2 i've never heard of the twighlight books,but i just love harry potter.
Last weekend was the AP preview for Toy Story at MGM, so after a lovely brunch at Epcot, we took the boat over to check it out. Arriving at the ride entrance, there was a mass of people, not a line, a mass. The CM's were checking ID's and AP's diligently which I have never seen them do before at a preview. Finally getting through the shrubbery that keeps the slugs out, we're on our way to que up.
IMGP1074.jpg
The actual line went pretty quickly however, I was a little slower since I was taking pictures. A mother and her child actually passed us while I stopped to take a picture. We will all get there ma'am. The theming was well done with a Candy Land path on the floor, Scrabble and checkers on the ceiling, and the BIG Tinker Toys, Barrel Full of Monkeys, and Lincoln Logs. Of course Mr. Potato Head was a big hit too!
There are steps to go up and then to go down to get in your buggie, I'm not sure of the actual term for the cars. As we're waiting to board feeling like small toys in Andy's bedroom, we are looking up at the bed, the electrical outlets and all the other toys scattered around the room.
that just sucks that the ride broke down, but WOW the pictures are awesome. can't wait to ride it!!
so sorry you had a bad day of golf, but you truly made me laugh!!! :rotfl2:
We were told she needs them for 2 years. We're hoping she can get them off in time for her 13th Bday. Grandma promised she would buy her contacts for her 13th Bday too. So, she'll be lookin' like a super model then!
I can't believe she actually told her grandma in the phone that they are cute! :eek: This is the girl who cried when she was told she had to get them.
at least she thinks they're cute, hopefully the pain will get better. i never had to have braces, but i acutally wanted them!!:confused3 i would actually put gum around my teeth and pretend i had braces. wow , i was weird wasnt' i:rotfl:
I keep saying that to KC actually... but then it'll be a whole new set of drama because then I'd be inviting them to my house since I plan to stay around for the holidays once i have a baby (hopefully in the next few years).
I like my in-laws they are ok. They are just very detached type of people, never really expressing their feelings and thats hard for me because I'm a talk-it-out kinda gal. She will never apologize to me for anything because it would be expressing a feeling.
When we first met they didn't like me, because of the age difference and I'm figuring because I'm not Hispanic. It took us over a year to let me be allowed in his home, we used to live in Starbucks stores because we could sit and actually spend some time. Then when I moved into their building it got a bit better but not really, and when he decided to stay in the building with me when they moved, it was a drama. She wouldn't even let him take his own TV or bed in hopes that we'd break up and he'd come home. She called their 2nd bedroom (the office actually) "KC's Room" until after we were married. when we told them we were getting married she gave him a ring to give me (she collects jewelery) and that was a big step but never any words. they came to the wedding, gave us a CD worth a lot of $ but it has never really felt like I was a part of the family. Even still. They tend to overlook that I have an entire side of the family to visit and keep in touch with, and to me its selfish on their part. I deal because I love my husband, but talking to his mom is like speaking to a wall. One sided conversation and repeats of the same stuff over and over.
Told ya I was a talker...sorry for the long windedness...Thanks for letting me vent
sorry so many problems with your inlaws:hug: mine aren't that bad. i did complain about my mil, but i feel really guilty now . she told us she's taking the entire family (12 ppl) on a 7 night land/sea disney cruise in aug 2009!! i guess i can never say anything bad again :rotfl2:
hang in there, hopefully it will get better.
KWYM, whoops, i just said i wasn't going to say anything bad about the inlaws, off to a great start aren't i :rotfl2:
the pictures aren't working on my computer!!! i wish i could see them!! sounds like you 've been busy. hopefully he'll forget about wanting a horse by next year. kids just don't understand why they can't keep a horse in the yard!!!
i'm at work, it's not too bad. just wanted to say hello to everyone!! i worked 12 hours mon, tues, so slept all day tues. well, better get back to work, so i can keep my job!!!
This garage sale is KILLING me! :eek: It's not until the 22nd but I am exhausted already! I placed the ad in the paper yesterday so I don't wuss out! :sad2: The playroom is PACKED! I had the kids go through our DVDs, Playstation games and Xbox games. We should make enough for our Disney airfare just on those! Kids get bored so easily. What's really sad to me is that we BOUGHT all that stuff.....
What were we thinking?
