Joshua's Heart rate dropped so they had to get him and EARLY... Stubborn little MISSY here WOULD NOT BUDGE heart rate stayed great.. so they left her in... but to her defense I would not dialate either.

I can not remember did you deliver or c-section

Emergency C because of the heart rate drop...

Goodnight gang...
My big night of TV.. Survivor, CSI and LOST.
And I am still trying to get kids to bed.

Entertainment Center looks awesome! I will be in your position after we get back from FLA. While we are away we are having all the insulation and drywall replaced and carpets pulled up in our dining room, living room, and hallway. When we get back we will need to paint, buy furniture, new curtains, and all the other accoutrement you need when you redecorate. I have told Jim it must all be done by Thanksgiving:scared1:
We need CE here to help us decorate! Where the heck is she anyway?? I'll email her if I don't hear soon.

I am excited about redecorating---we have moved so much lately that no place has seemed like "mine" so it's kinda neat.

TE,

I am very concerned. I noticed that your hubby spent a lot of time at "the bar" during your last Disney trip. Now you are dropping some serious dough on new furniture. So, I have to ask, what exactly was he doing at "the bar?" :rolleyes1 And can he show my hubby how to do it?
:rotfl2: What happens at POR, stays at POR!

And seriously, I have no idea what he did there---I never went! Maybe I should ask to review the security cameras! :rotfl2:

:lmao: Yeah, spill sister!

I know nothing! :lmao:

Don't you HATE that. IN Kentucky the rule was Calendar Year Jan-Dec .
Most states have a cutoff no matter how you test. Miss it by one day... TOO BAD.

Most "Preschools" here in Roanoke Va. do a Graduration... and they are during the day.. Ours at Church was in the eveneing.

In CT (where the kids were born), the school was also Jan-Dec. BA was due 1/1, and the other moms said "you gotta induce or she'll be in another school year!!"

But she came on her own on 1/9---and it didn't matter cause we moved to TX which had a Sept 1 date......then to SC with another date..........then to VA with a Oct date (I think---don't really care about that now)

Janet---BA had a preschool graduation too but it was during the lunch hour (really quick but cute too and we had lunch with them and went back to work).
I don't think they should have u take off work for that. I would ask for a day's credit too, since obviously you are taking care of you child that day!

Jo- That's great. Good job, Ellie! :cutie:

TE- Nice entertainment center! How fun to get to redecorate! I got to do that when we moved two years ago. I'm still doing small things, but that table I bought last month was the end of big things for a while.

Hey--missed u on my quoting. I miss all the furniture places around DFW--we got some good deals when we we built our house in 97!
I'm really so frugal that it's a big deal for me to spend this much money at one time---and now I'll worry till it's all paid off cause I hate balances! (but it's all interest free!)

He is 4. He turns 5 in September, but in PA he misses the K cut off by 1 freaking day.
Oh crap! Evan's 3 - turns 4 in August. Looks like they're a yr apart either way.
Um, HELLO?! Remember me? I have a god and his name is Manolo. "Excited" doesn't cover it - my friend Char and I are putting together a ladies' night to include dressing in our finest, enjoying a sinfully-decadent meal at some trendy restaurant, and, after downing a few cosmos, heading our fabulous selves to the movie that weekend! "I can't wait" is a major understatement!!!
Oh MAN!!! That sounds like fun! Unfortunately none of my friends are "just not into it" (sorry, couldn't resist! ;) )
I may have to drag SIL to go with me! Otherwise it's me and Andy! :lmao:

We need CE here to help us decorate! Where the heck is she anyway?? I'll email her if I don't hear soon.
She's enroute from TN??? She should be back tomorrow.

Here's a super late (i'm still wired from all the sugar we injested) link to my version of the NYC DIS MEET!

DIS MEET 5/1/08

Jo Do they still have "The Duke of Edinburgh Awards" I remember working on that as a teen. I had to learn Braille for one part of it!! Also got to meet the Duke himself!!
They still have the DofE award Rosie but I think you start it about 12/13 Ellie is only 9, I'm hoping Jess will start it next year!

MY 5000th Post:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
:yay:

OMG! So am I the only one excited about the SATC Movie out this month???
I saw the trailer for it the other day, can't wait!!!!

Right on Janet!!:cool1: You seriously need to spend sometime away from the DIS!!! :lmao: At least you're not as bad as Jo! ;)
Hey!!!!

:rotfl: Well, since you asked! I just ordered my new entertainment center and tables! I believe I have now spent over $6K this week. which I have never done. Luckily I no-interest financed some of it, and tax refunded some of it, and hoping for my paychecks some of it!My new entertainment center
Looks lovely TE!

I am aggravated...and I probaly shouldn't be but.....Just got notice that Jimmy's class is having "graduation" (remember he is 4 and this is daycare) on June 13th. At tfirst I was like oh cute...until I read further and the notice said there will be no child care that day and everyone should arrive at 11:00am for the ceremony and a BBQ afterwards. Is it just me, but the only reason I have Jimmy in childcare is becasue Jim and I WORK:headache:
That sounds ridiculous, we don't do graduation here, Jess's class had a little party when they changed schools and I think they have a ball type thing after their main exams at about 16!

Jo- That's great. Good job, Ellie! :cutie:
Thanks Dawn, good to see you!

Don't you HATE that. IN Kentucky the rule was Calendar Year Jan-Dec .
Sept 1st here, there is a huge difference between eldest and youngest for the first few years!

One could say you should have PUSHED harder or "sneezed sooner.:lmao:
:rotfl2:

We need CE here to help us decorate! Where the heck is she anyway?? I'll email her if I don't hear soon.
As T said she's driving home from visiting family, she should be back today!

Hi TE... WOW what is is two or three days in a row now??
Are you going to make this a regular thing again.. or are you just a cat playing with a mouse ??

IT is nice to see you Over Here again.

While we have some good furniture store around here I think only 1 couch, 2 bookcases, 2 dressers and 1 Chests came from Roanoke.
MOST came from Martinsville area ( and that's an house away from us)since that's where Stanley and Bassett Furniture are/were located.
We got out things from their "Outlets". But it can take patience, I started building my Bedroon when I fell in love with a Cherry Dresser.. took me almost 2 years to finish the bedroom.. but I got a Canopy bed, dresser, chest and 2 night stands.. all Solid Cherry with a deep Mahogany finish.. for around 800.00 when it would have retailed for 3,980.00

Morning everyone. Hope all is well with everyone and my did you all chat a lot last night. I was in class learning the fine art of daycare evaluation. It will take me 3 -4 hours in a daycare to fill out this evaluation and the teacher said there will still be things I will not see and will have to ask the teacher about.

Just thought I'd stop in and say hi.

Today is cleaning day. Gotta get the house perty. :cool1: Then some laundry and then groceries. We are in the "severe weather" area for today. I know my fellow Midwest Fockers will understand.

I don't like to KNOW that the storms that are coming have tornados in them. Makes me nervous all day. But, that is a risk to living here!

Tonight I am going to a Tastefully Simple party. YUM! You guys ever been? It's soooo good. Lots of food to taste and buy. So, whatcha all doin today?

MEL:banana:

We're the same. The furniture we got when we moved will be paid off in January (with no interest.) The stuff we got last in March we have 2-3 years to pay too, but that balance is only $800ish.

K's truck is paid off next week and his 401K loans (don't ask- we were young and poor, and stupid :sad2: ) will be paid off in Sept. So, that'll be about $900 less of payments A MONTH! :cheer2: I'm hoping to pay the table off all one month and be done.

Good morning! :goodvibes We have PE and grocery shopping today. I'm trying to come up with more foods I can eat. After two weeks of chicken and veggies, I'm starting to get cranky. :headache: I don't think I've lost anything this week. :confused3
I need to get busy walking, but I've had some pelvic pain this week. I'm supposed to go in for a sonogram and appt on June 2nd. I hope I'll get some answers then. It's been going on for years, but it's gotten really bad this last week. :guilty:

Mel- Be careful today! I went to a Tastefully Simple party once. I really liked it. I haven't seen one around here in years, though. :confused3

Everyone have a nice Friday and a great weekend, if I don't get back here later! :dance3:

Hi Mel,

Ditto here on the cleaning.. We are doing the carpets thins morning.. I wanted Stanley Steemer to come do it.. But I'm goning to pocket the savings and use it in Disney. So I am going to be out a good while today.

I rode out a tornado with Joshua when he was less than 2. We were in Ky then... no basement.. so I was "hunkered" down in the Hallway. Scott was out of town.. he called just as the siren sounded and I said" uh honey can I call you back.. there's a tornado in town right now".:scared1: :scared1:

I call it Tastefully Sinful.

I call it Tastefully Sinful.

VERY appropriate. I don't think there's a single thing on the menu that ISN'T made with sour cream, mayo or Cream cheese!!!

But, that's what makes it sooooo good!:sad2:
I had a party a few weeks ago. I can't have dairy so I used Soy products for all the cheese/sour cream things. No one knew!
The girl who's doing it tonight is doing the same thing because myself and one other girl who are attending can't have dairy!
Isn't that sweet?

Was getting in late last/night early this am from visiting the IL's.

Janet---BA had a preschool graduation too but it was during the lunch hour (really quick but cute too and we had lunch with them and went back to work).

IT's in the contract that even if they are only open 4 days we still have to pay the weekly rate:headache: At this point, I just want to get him to June 27th and then he is out of there for the summer.:woohoo:

Oh crap! Evan's 3 - turns 4 in August. Looks like they're a yr apart either way.

I think they will get along great anyway:thumbsup2

She's enroute from TN??? She should be back tomorrow.

SHe said she wouldn't be getting in until 2 or 3 this morning, they are all probably crashed out!

Read over on your TR, but it looks like you had a great time:thumbsup2

Sept 1st here, there is a huge difference between eldest and youngest for the first few years!

That is why I am not that cooncerend...I think I would rather have Jimmy be the oldest in the class than the youngest!

I'm off to look after Ollie in a minute, Ben was released from hospital yesterday but as he's contagious we need to keep Ollie away, it's beautiful and sunny here too would have been just right for golf :rotfl2:

YEP. All the foods are easy to prepare and only take one or two ingredients. Mostly dips and sauces for things. It's yummy. Any excuse to eat.:woohoo:

OH, and Kat: Forgot to say, I loved your pics from your NYMEET. So cool!
