Excuse me Jo! Yes I have "o" levels even an "oa" !

We now have GCSE's I was the second year of them, I have 9 GCSE's and 3 A levels (Math, Chemistry and Economics )

Jo - weren't the girls just off for 2 weeks

Yep and in at the end of the month they have another week off, every 6 weeks remember!

My girlfriend and I are taking the kids up to the carnival tonight for a couple of hours and then tomorrow we get to go see Backyardigans Live on Stage. Yes, with a 4 year old we lead exciting lives

Have fun, luckily I haven't been subjected to those but I did see the Tweenies live in concert and went to see Bear in the big blue house, actually they were great fun

Jo--what exactly IS bangers and mash? I've heard of it, but not really sure. Sounds kinda bad.

Just sausages and mashed potato, I only buy really good quality pork sausages though!

I slept very late today because we were up late and I felt like yuckies most of the night. Today kinda the same. I plan to relax and make KC clean the house. Thank god for leftover Enchiladas!

So there I was on TFW 3 and I was happy that I only missed 3 pgs only to find out that TFW 4 has been started and I've missed 26 pgs .

Quick check in here, I haven't been on the computer much this week in an attempt to actually get other things done like cleaning and organizing. I've shredded 8 paper bags worth of paper so far, cleaned and reorganized and am dying to hit up the Container Store for stuff because they're having an organization sale. Plus getting other stuff done that I'd been putting off.

Hi everyone!
This is the weekend that my family is gone.When I thought about what I would be doing these four days I had visions of Dis time and reading my book.Nope, I have been in the mood to clean. Very rarely happens but I have cleaned out rooms,taken a ton of stuff to Goodwill,and just gotten alot done.Plus I have eaten out with friends,shopped, and gone to the tanning bed twice.Something I have never done. Tonight I am having dinner with a group of friends and we are going to see a movie.Hope everyone is doing well,haven't caught up completely.

BTW,the hotel that my girls are staying in is a Christmas themed hotel.It is absolutely gorgeous and has Christmas trees in every room.Looks almost like a castle.All Rebekah could say on the phone earlier is how pretty everything is and how much fun she is having.Rachel wanted to talk about the corn she had at lunch.Obviously it was good.

A man jumped to his death from the 14th floor of the Disneyland Hotel this afternoon.

TMZ spoke to Anaheim Police spokesperson Rick Martinez who tells us the male victim was between 30-40 years old and was in Anaheim on business. He was sharing the hotel room with a male co-worker and jumped from their balcony.

An investigation is under way, but all indications are the death was a suicide.

Wow. That is so sad. I too wonder how one gets so desperate. There are times when things seem downright miserable, but sheesh, I can't understand getting that desperate. Lots of prayers will be going to his family. Even if he doesn't have kids, he has a mom and dad and maybe siblings, friends, coworkers.

I have a check up withh my homebirth midwife tomorrow morning an hour and a half from here, and then afterwards Jeff and I are going shopping in the "big town" (remember, I live in the middle of nowhere). I'll be dreaming of Bed, Bath & Beyond, Olive Garden, Target, Meijer, Children's Place, and Motherhood Maternity tonight.

About 1.5 years ago my childhood best friend hung herself She was convinced she was ill, she was only 33 with a long term boyfriend but luckily no kids, she sent me a letter a few days before she did it!!!!

BTW, since joining this thread a few days ago, I've been mentioning little tidbits here and there to Jeff. He says I make it sound like I really know everyone and that maybe I need help.

I do that all the time, I even met up with 4 fockers last August so at least DH knows you're all real Have a fun day!

I am glad to say do not KNOW anyone who has committed suicide. I will say that MY Dad thought about it a few times. When he was drunk and maybe he and mom had a bad fight...I found him one night outside in the car... with a pistol to his head. But I just can not understand what drives a person to say all hope is lost and I want to end this "miserable existence" as they must be thinking.

I do that all the time, I even met up with 4 fockers last August so at least DH knows you're all real Have a fun day!

I'm still wondering.. I mean I have seen "pictures" but it could all be a polt.. and when "New People show up for the "Focker Fest" they are kidnapped and never heard from again.. That sounds like a movie..
Absorbed from the Happiest place on Earth.. or is it "into".. Maybe the Characters in the rides are those New "Fockers" ... "Small World, Haunted Mansion, Hall of Presidents, Pirates of the Carribean..or the "characters themselves that are in costume" ALL TRAPPED !!! Then this Hero from Ky now living in Virginia.. packs up her guns, and rescues all the trapped people.

SHHHHH! I'm not supposed to be here. I'm supposed to be writing a paper. And I've been instructed to include more "personal reflection" in this one. It's a paper on illumination as a symbol in High Renaissance painting... I work full time as a writer... I'm raising a 6-year-old and preparing for his Bday party next week... I have a house that needs cleaning, bills that need paying, and another class's project that needs completing........

Personal Reflection.. THAT'S what I do here.. Bet you do too

"Illumination" is beautiful work. I actually had to Create an "illumination" in an art class in college. With all the Vivid color and "reflection" it carries.

We had some "Actual" Illumination pieces in our Art Gallery .. and these of course where in a Special section that you had to be "buzzed" into.
