I was also thinking chips - as in Kettle chips.

Hmmmm

I think a walk to the ice cream shop would be much better...........:cloud9:

ANd what are kettle chips???

Yep a studio, with a small bathroom.

I bet you pay way more than my mortgage for that thing! :scared1:

My motha grew up in Brooklyn. My family is all still in NY!

OMG, you guys!!!!!!!!!

Friday is my anniversary. 13 years (on Friday the thirteenth:thumbsup2 ). My DH just came home from work and said we had to have a family meeting. So over dinner, the kids and I sitting around the table wondering who's in trouble and for what, DH says........

We're going to Disney World in the morning:worship:

I can't even believe it!:faint:

I have to go pack now.

Exsqueeze me??? :faint: So, I saw T will be his 2nd wife. I can be his 3rd. I need nothing but Disney trips. I have raging OCD so I'll clean really well! :teeth:

My ds friends family is leaving for WDW on Sat. They go about every other year. With no plans. :faint: So I am scrambling to put some info together for them. They are staying at the Contemporary in a suite (they have 4 kids). Who have summer tips for me? Come on... I know someone does. I have never ever been in the summer. :faint:::yes::

1. It's hotter than hades. Take afternoon breaks. I'm not kidding. It's very important.
2. AK is the hottest park. 'Nuff said.
3. Shower at night. 'Nuff said.
4. 2nd showing of everything is way less crowded. They can go into the parks late and catch 2nd showings and stay late if they do afternoon breaks.
5. If they get water from an offsite place, it's way cheaper. Water in the parks is like $3. We paid $10 for 2 packs of water. That saved us about $100 at least.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So, I hear you guys talking about it...but what is Twilight??? :confused3
Also, I'm so excited. And I can't tell you why. :rolleyes1
Haven't been by here in a while... just checkin in to say hi to anyone who was hanging around during my previous short stint.
I went on vacation and since then I can't get my nose out of Twilight so I haven't been dis-ing as much.
SOunds like that is the book of the year!
Hi, I'm Jen. Mom to 2 kids that I love more than the stars, moon, sun and sky! One of which can be a trouble maker... Tink, she is 3... going on 15:faint:
________________________________________________________________
We have some nasty storms coming through. Lost all satelite. NO TV!
Come on, who has some summer WDW advice for me??? pURteee Pleeezze.:flower3:
Come on, who has some summer WDW advice for me??? pURteee Pleeezze.:flower3:
1. It's so hot, that on the Safari on AK...the animals are only out early. After that, they all hide.
2. Cool off with water rides.
3. Shows are a great place to cool off.
4. Beauty and the Beast is not AC'd and is veeeeery hot. Get a drink before heading inside.
5. Jammin' Jungle parade has the least amount of shade so be sure to get a seat very early for this one.
6. Definitely do the new Toy Story ride at MGM. It's so great. Puts Buzz to shame.
Well I had a bunch of posts marked to quote and Bug needed batteries in his toy and I lost them all some how. You all did chat a lot today. I got very little done. I moved the the big entertainment center to the side to sell it. I then got the tv on the corner stand. I got dressed and helped Bug get dressed and it was about 10:00 and my mom walked in. She was taking Bug shopping and out to lunch and offered to take me. I left and got back home a half hour ago. My house is totally trashed. I need to get going and clean.
Kat--The kitchen is cute but small.
Mel--You are inspiring me to get out and exercise.
Jen--I would say the usual get up early and take a break in the afternoon.
Drink lots of water.
TE--Does the cat like the food? Can cat food is stinkyyyyyy
Ms Diz--I never knew you couldn't pass the stones. Best of luck in him getting a 3:30 on a Thur.:lmao: I 'm sure the doc will go for that.
T--Glad the advil is working
Jo--Yes, some spiders bite here. My ds has a big swollen bite on his leg from one right now. He said it itches a lot.
TE--Hope the rash doesn't come back.
I know there are a lot of people I am missing but I have a bad memory, hence the plant at my mom's and I need to get something done in this house before I go to bed.
Uh........she turned her nose up and went and the dog's food.:mad: I read an article just now and it said to transition over a week (course I'm leaving Sat so that week may have to be later.)
I googled feline obesity and all the articles said "no more dry food"---I feel really bad--I thought it was best. :confused:
That is strange. The vet told us that dry is better. Maybe it is for dogs:confused3
Did she eat the dogs food? Did the dog let her?
Yes--dry is better for dogs (better for their teeth), but I mix a little canned in with Max's cause he is underwt and picky.
Max is very submissive to Isabella (she is sceery with them claws!)..........but he's submissive to most other animals. They get along really well tho!
Gotta get to bed--work tomorrow at 7:15 am:mad: . Nite nite!
Tell them to avoid Studios on Saturday and Sunday, unless they are Star Wars fans. And if they are - get there EARLY EARLY EARLY
Buenos Nachos everyone. I'm off to bed.
Oh...and I updated my TR again. Just sayin'...
::yes:: Good one. Geeks weekend is like packed sardines.
OK ladies, you may all pat me on the back now::yes:: I cleaned my entire upstairs
:banana: Now will you please come and clean mine?
Surprise, surprise... the nurse did call me back. She's going to let the doctor know how I'm feeling and call me back. I'm not going hold my breath, though.
:dance3: Well at least she called.
IGenerally if we fight I send him to the bathroom, or I go there and take a bath. It ain't always easy. We are still looking for a bigger place but the prices are ridiculous.
I believe it! When dh and I finished college, he had an interview in NYC. He decided he didn't want the job after the interview. He was not offered it, but they asked him to submit some type of work during the interview(can't remember exactly what) and he never did it, so I guess they knew he didn't care at that point.
We're going to Disney World in the morning:worship:
I can't even believe it!:faint:
I have to go pack now.
I'm so excited for you!
You all call french fries - chips. So you are saying you have shops that are just for french fries? Do they sell anything else?
They're fish and chip shops (like in UK in Epcot) they sell all different types of fish, pies, sausages etc and obviously chips which you have to eat with malt vinegar :goodvibes
the chip shop would be a fry shop??? :confused3
See above :rotfl2:
I'm assuming so......although at first I pictured a shop with wall to wall tater chips! Pringles....Doritos........Lays........
:rotfl2:
I think a walk to the ice cream shop would be much better...........:cloud9:
Would you believe we don't have ice cream shops :eek: we have in our malls now the stands like Baskin Robins!
Actually he spent almost $100 on stereo surround sound headphones so I don't have to hear a peep!
:thumbsup2
We're going to Disney World in the morning:worship:
OMG Kate that's fantastic, Happy Anniversary for tomorrow too :goodvibes
Today was my last day in class - can I get a "whut,whut" :woohoo:
Whut, whut :yay:
I did walk with my girlfriend tonight! We did two miles. YAY US! :cool1: I felt the burn for sure...
Fantastic!!!!
Haven't been by here in a while... just checkin in to say hi to anyone who was hanging around during my previous short stint.
Hi :wave2:
Jo--Yes, some spiders bite here. My ds has a big swollen bite on his leg from one right now. He said it itches a lot.
Poor thing, I bet a spider bite is bad isn't it!
"no more dry food"---I feel really bad--I thought it was best. :confused:
We always fed our cats dry food (they hated tinned food) and they were fine, not overweight at all :confused3
My foot is almost back to normal but I thought I'd spend an hour with it up, playing golf tomorrow and don't want it bad for that :rotfl2:
I just paid my balance on my WDW trip :yay: :yay: :yay:
Good Morning!
I will ditto what everyone else said about WDW in Summer. Stay hydrated! And get out of the sun in the afternoon. All the other time you are in the park, WEAR A HAT! FL sunshine will fry your brain!
Today is my 16th Anniversary! We aren't doing anything special (like Kate!) but we are going to have dinner next week at Artist Point... So, that will be nice.
The weather is gray and gloomy today. I think we might have t-storms. That means after I walk on the treadmill, I will put in some laundry (trying to keep caught up so I can pack next week) and then go get my pedi in the rain! Today the HS finally has school! DS is stressed because now they have 3 finals, back to back! He's a great student, made honor roll again for the year, so I'm not worried.
Whatcha all doin' today?
Mel:banana:
Happy Anniversary Mel
